Established in 2005.

Founded by Andrew Nance AIA and Thad Reeves AIA, A. GRUPPO Architects specializes in modern and contemporary architecture.

We strongly believe that the process of design results from an ongoing conversation with our clients. Our work seeks out amazing spaces through the use of natural light and materials.

We engage in a broad range of project types and budgets, and offer a full range of Architectural services, including Interiors as well as Landscape Design.

Business Owner

Andrew Nance AIA completed his Masters of Architecture in 1996, graduating from the University of Texas at Arlington. His interest in the lineage of architectural ideas and forms prompted him to travel extensively throughout Europe and the United States visiting many of the great buildings of the world.

After graduating he moved to New York City and worked for S.O.M. on large-​scale international projects. His experience in the city has been an invaluable resource for architectural ideas and strategies. Following New York, Andrew moved to Boulder, CO where he was an integral part of a design build firm, broadening his skill set managing construction projects.

In 2002 he returned to Texas and has combined practice and teaching (UTA, UC Boulder, San Antonio College, UTSA, and most recently Texas State University), while continuing to work on a variety of project types and scales.

Andrew is a registered architect in the state of Texas.
