I really liked this place! I was worried about service after reading some reviews, but I had a great experience! I had no wait in the drive thru, and the employees were patient with me exploring the menu. They were accommodating to my picky coffee order without hesitation, and I got my delicious mint mocha frappé quickly after paying. I love that they have almond and coconut milk, and you can add chocolate covered espresso beans to any frozen drink. It was delicious!

They have the Best Drink Ever. No, really, that’s what it’s called. Sometimes it’s delicious and quite possibly lives up to its name. Sometimes it’s…not so much. I don’t know if there’s certain people that make things extra hot when they should just be regular hot or what, but there are definitely times when it’s too hot to drink for at least an hour, and that’s not cool. I only use the drive thru because I hit this place up on the way to work(well, on the way near work, it’s actually out of the way, but sometimes you just want a buzz.) And it’s generally quick enough. There always seems to be quite a few employees inside the little stand so that’s to be expected. Overall, I like Better Buzz coffee most of the time, but it’s pretty inconsistently prepared at this location.

I decided to visit better buzz coffee this morning. I’m so glad I did. The girls were so nice to me. They all were happy and seemed to be enjoying their morning. I’ll be sure to be back again.

Right by my office so I stop by sometimes when I don’t make my own coffee at home. I also grab an acai bowl from time to time. Honestly, the coffee and food is just 4 star, but the service is always great.

Better Buzz is my all time favorite place to go for great coffee. I came here after a long hard day at work and even though it was getting busy i still received exceptional and mega friendly service that really lifted my spirits. I love the attitudes of the employees at this location and i will make it a point to coming to this location in the future as well as sharing with my friends about my great experiences here. Thanks Better Buzz!

Yummy. You had me at Snickerdoodle latte. I just wish the lines moved faster and the girls were sweeter :)

This place is literally hit or miss depending on when you arrive. The last couple of times unfortunately have been several significant misses, likely because it was earlier in the am(8am) and on the weekend. Honestly, I just think this place is ran poorly as there always seems to be a lot of employees, just no execution. The wait this past visit was around 40 – 45 minutes with repeated counter visits to clarify my already uncomplicated drink order… These guys just don’t seem to know what they are doing and the product served after the long wait, is honestly just average. Also, the drive thru line is generally long and the staff like to park cars to bring them their coffee to avoid drive thru time issues which are reported back. This is an unfortunate side effect of a poorly ran business. Likely will never return to this specific location. Pros– Location Outdoor seating Cons– Slow service Fake drive thru times LONG wait Average product Lots of employees but lack of leadership Overall a poorly ran establishment

This is by far my favorite coffee place. I live in San Francisco with tons of amazing coffee shops and this one exceeds them all. Get the iced best drink ever and you won’t regret it!

Review is based on service only. Their coffee is excellent and I’ll continue to get coffee from here(probably not at this location). The experience I had on Saturday was not the best. The drive-thru line was pretty long and we decided to park and just walk up and order. *Reminder to self* Use drive-thru line instead of parking and walking to the window. I don’t know why but the drive-thru line was soooo much faster than the damn window. UGH. The girl taking our orders was having a hard time with my order for some reason. She had to ask us 3 times. It’s really SIMPLE: white mocha buzz with mocha drizzle(chocolate syrup). I’m not sure if it’s because she was new or maybe no one orders a drink like that there, who knows. I probably waited 15 – 20 minutes for my drink, while I see the drive through line speeding on through. Apparently the people in front of us got their orders and it was wrong. There was another gentlemen whose drink wasn’t even made, I’m guessing someone took the wrong drink so the poor guy has been waiting for nothing. I finally get my drink and start sipping it as I’m already at the car. I realize this isn’t the drink I ordered. They made it wrong. They gave me just a regular Mocha Buzz. I walk all the way back and I tell the girl(different girl than the one who placed the order) «this isn’t what I ordered.» I’m already in a pissy mood because I’ve been waiting 20 minutes for my drink and it’s wrong. Then the girl doesn’t even apologize for it she just hands me a drink with barely any drizzle or a weak pour of the mocha drizzle in my cup and hands me my drink. still no apology. I take it without saying a word. On top of that we parked right behind the drive through line and could not get out of our spot. At this point I’m on high blood. The two girls in separate cars in the drive-thru line don’t even acknowledge we’re trying to get out because they are on the phones. Finally after being aggressive and shoving the car in reverse one of the girls doesn’t even scoot up. I have to honk to get her attention, I yelled out«thank you» sarcastically as we left. UGH! so frustrating. Next time, if there is a next time, I’m using the drive-thru. Never again. Next time please apologize for screwing up someones order. Don’t be a complete bit*h. I’ve worked at Starbucks and Jamba Juice so I understand how the rush is and how overwhelming things get. Mistakes are going to happen but it’s not about the mistake its how you handle it. The way the girl handled this mistake was unacceptable.

Second time here not as much in love as the first. I get serious cravings for their mint mocha and go on about how this is my favorite coffee place, but the service was just horrible and while my drink was fine, they got my husbands drink wrong twice and after the second time we just left it. He wanted the greatest drink ever since that is his fav here, when he wanted it iced, they said it would be very watery and not contain coffee? So he asked for it blended which they said they could not do, only make him a vanilla blended. After waiting 15 minutes for those two drinks, he got a small even though we ordered and paid for large sizes(mine was a large, so they got that right) and then after that they gave him a vanilla blended with no coffee. Not at all what he wanted, by then we were fed up, he tossed his drink and while I still loved mine, no point in returning to this location if he can’t get what he wants, what a shame.

Best drink ever, #BDE, is awesome. This is the first and only drink so far that I’ve experienced here. That’s how much I love the BDE! I visit my friend in San Marcos and I am so glad that I was able to find this location. It’s a quaint, drive up location. The staff has always been friendly and every BDE has always been consistent. I definitely come back to this location every time I visit my friend in San Marcos.

I come here all the time for my coffee& I love it! I always park and wait in the sunshine for my order(killer bee + vanilla powder.) The staff is really friendly and will make basically any coffee drink you could want. Make sure if you like less sweet drinks to order your drink half sweet or even just try a regular latte. The espresso really is quite good on its own! If you’re craving something sweet, the honey latte is amazing. For something in the middle, the BDE is not to be missed. YUM. It’s so nice to have a Sbux alternative. I’ve been luke warm on that massive chain for years & thought there was no alternative around here. Now I can’t even drink anything there anymore because better buzz really is just better!

oh my goodness! I wasn’t expecting it to be this small little place! lol it’s cute. Drive thru or walk up — today was drive thru because of the random rain we’re getting here. the menu is simple and to the point aka coffee, coffee, & more coffee. it’s affordable which is really nice. what’s also cool is that they have açai bowls as well that you can order throughout the day. coffee is good, from what I tasted. I ordered a 16 oz iced, best coffee ever but got handed a 24 oz hot coffee… they handed me the wrong coffee, I don’t know what it is but it’s good. I honestly didn’t realize it until I drove off… oops, I’m a tad off today.(sorry guy behind me, I took your coffee) I did not get what I ordered… unfortunately. only negative!

If I could give no stars I probably would. I am the Duchess of this location, I have been coming here for over 5 years since I found it, and have told countless people about Better Buzz. Well, unfortunately that all stops today. I hope their owners read this. I have left tips, pictures, etc to explain what is wrong and continues to be. Since I started coming here every now and then there would be minor slip ups(no whip cream, added ingredients, forgetting an ingredient), everyone is human. However, now, your order is guaranteed to be wrong. Has this location turned into the Better Buzz training center? It’s like it’s amateur hour every day now… Today, my boyfriend and I walked up to the window instead of going through the drive thru. No one in line when we walked up, girl was very nice, they always are. Ordered the following: — White Mocha Espresso Bean Buzz Which is a blended white mocha with chocolate covered espresso beans chopped up in it = typically delicious — Chai Espresso Bean Buzz Same idea as the above but is a Chai instead of coffee = again typically delicious(I’m an iced Chai, with an add shot usually, but sometimes I like the little special espresso beans) So we pay, which for those 2 drinks and 2 muffins was $ 18+ and tip on top of that. We wait for 10 minutes, eat our muffins, and the line picks up, one drink comes out, she calls it the Chai, it is actually the white mocha, which is white… While my boyfriend looks at his drink and we wait for my Chai to be made, he takes a sip and his«frozen blended» buzz is soup. Like not thick at all. About another 10 minutes passes, he is waiting in line to get his drink remade to a thicker consistency, my drink still hasn’t been made… They don’t write on their cups anymore, they have a sticker/ticket that they stick to the cups now, which I have seen fall off and drinks get forgotten :( My drink finally comes out, we have now been waiting for 20 minutes, no exaggeration, I looked to see when I had checked in. She calls it the white mocha… It concerns me that a barista doesn’t know what a white mocha and a Chai looks like… My drink is also soup, and I ask right then for her to remake it, and my boyfriend(who is quite fed up at this point) asked for a regular iced drink instead of the buzz. Now, you would think that 2 remade drinks would be priority to make, but no. About 5 drinks came out of the window, while we waited. I have attached a picture of the buzz that was remade, they wrote on the cup for this one… They made a white mocha, and again she called it a Chai, *sigh*. And it was soup, even though the cup has the word«thick» written on it. We took both our drinks, and left. We will not be back. I can excuse small mistakes every now and then, but every single time is too much. We were at Better Buzz San Marcos for over half an hour and left without the drinks we originally wanted, having spent practically $ 20 this morning. The owners need to take a look at how this place is doing, if this is a training center then maybe have someone doing quality control and teaching their«baristas» what each drink is and looks like.

I am surprised I haven’t review my favorite coffee location yet! Okay! Well here it goes! This place is buzzing let me tell you! First of all they have amazing almond milk alternatives. Friends you know how important that is to me. Contrasting to the traditional Starbucks BB is a front runner in my eyes for this reason alone. Favorite drink is the chai latter and holds an almost grainy texture at the bottom of the cup which some people dislike but if you like sprinkle then this texture is your jam or butter, I don’t know. Puns aren’t really making it into this review. Downfalls: okay let’s get real. Like super real. This location might as well share a drive through with in n out. The drive through option is quote the wait, but don’t be thrown off it is worth turning on the AC and listening to some tunes. No time to wait??? Be sure to park in the lot right next to it and walk up to the window. The walk up window that is. Please don’t be that person. As always, Love Kayla

Be prepared for a line here, just about any time you pull up. Long line is for good reason grasshopper. Better Buzz cranks out tasty coffee that packs a serious punch. I’m not a fan of sweet, but their iced best drink ever is pretty spectacular. Today I tried the iced Moroccan spice. Mind blown. Slightly bitter, like me… Raw cream, sugar and a magical spice blend. Love over ice. Happy to support this place, as they support my caffeine habit. buzz buzz.

Fun location to visit, especially in the California rain that we were teased with last weekend. This is a drive thru coffee establishment with a window for walk up. They have a gluten free treat option or two and creative drinks with explanations of ingredients/craft for those who may need them. I ordered a iced drink, yes even in the chilliest of occasions! I requested a caramel latte with less syrup. The barista suggested to have just ¾ of the syrup. I would probably do less to suite my tastebuds. Friendly baristas and great hours!
