Working with PMC has been a pleasure. Chris Murdoch gave us hope for our very narrow staircase and then his team made it happen after another company had advised it was too tight a space. We are thrilled with the stair lift, the installation was tricky but it works beautifully and we have the safety we were looking for.

I have now completed two fairly major transactions with Pacific Mobility Center and couldn’t be more satisfied. The first installation included two Bruno seats and a Bruno Curbsider lift for our RAM 1500 truck. The second installation was a curved stair lift for our tri-​level house. Both installations were completed professionally and as promised. In both cases Jeff and Mary Ann went out of their way to make sure we got what we needed for the long haul. Instead of trying to sell us everything they could, Jeff went out of his way to make sure we got what we really needed and no more. At one point we had a programming issue with one of the Bruno seats and they had Anthony come to our house that afternoon to fix it. Turned out to be a minor problem but without their help we would have been stuck. Pacific Mobility Center is a good company that will put your needs first and deserves your trust and business.

Completely satisfied with every aspect of purchasing the Bruno stairlift from Pacific Mobility. Gary the Sales Rep. who came to our home spent a lot of time going over everything and all our options & without any high pressure. He was very knowledgeable about the products & with his help, he made it easy to decide which product was right for us. The lift was installed just a couple of days later by the nicest young man who was also the owner’s son. He was such a hard worker & It was up and running in less than 3 hours. That evening one of the chairs started beeping so the next morning I called the office and that same afternoon someone came out and adjusted something and now it’s working perfectly & we have had no problems since. Very impressed with their quick response to our problem. Very good company to work with and would recommend them to everyone. So happy with our new Bruno stairlift. It’s a high quality product and runs so smooth and very quiet. Most of all, it’s much safer for my husband than walking up & down the stairs. Also, it’s very easy for my husband to use and he can operate safely even when I’m away from home making him feel more in control again. This has made his quality of life so much better. Wish we had done it sooner but glad it’s done now. Many thanks to Pacific Mobility for their fine job and dedication to service & quality.

I recently used Pacific Mobility when I purchased a ceiling lift for my home. Jeff was extremely helpful in every aspect, from determining which device, sling, placement, etc. was best, to following up afterwards with a wonderful in-​service to help us use it safely and with ease. His knowledge of the products was outstanding, and helped us get exactly what we needed. I have used other medical equipment companies for past needs, and have not had this kind of exceptional experience.

My project was to provide a safe method for my Mother 90 ½ years old to enter and leave her mobile home without climbing up and down steps.
So I called Jeff at Pacific Mobility Center to help design and modify an existing deck to accommodate a power lift system installation. Jeff and his deck construction team did an OUTSTANDING Job keeping me informed as to schedule and delivery dates.
The dedication of Eric and his wife (Construction team) who modified the existing deck to accommodate a wheel chair was outstanding. Eric and his wife did not leave until the job was completed that evening.
Then Jeff sent his lift installation team the next day to complete the power lift installation. What a great installation team.

We finally decided to install a stairlift to get our 17 year old, 80 pound disabled daughter up and down the stairs safely. I knew it would be a custom job since we have a curved staircase. After doing many hours of research on several different stairlift manufacturers and installers, I choose Pacific Mobility Center in San Marcos to install a Bruno lift even though they were quite a distance away from us. Jeff, the owner returned my first inquiry call right away, and he was my primary contact through the whole job. He was very pleasant, professional and knew what we needed. He came out to give me a quote, spent ample time with us answering questions and his quote turned out to be the lowest quote from the beginning. I got quotes from other companies that were significantly higher. I appreciated that he gave me his best quote from the beginning. It is a family owned company, and the job went smoothly from beginning to end with no problems. We have not had a single problem with the lift, and it runs very smoothly and quietly. We would definitely use them again for other needs..

Called a few weeks ago and I was provided via email, the name and number of their representative that would be able to assist me. I left him a message and an email, no response. I then attempted to make contact with someone else that may be able to assist me, but not a peep in return email or call.
As a contractor that has been contracted to revise multiple wounded veteran homes, this was a missed opportunity by Pacific Mobility and someone else’s gain.

Hands down the best place in San Diego to get your mobility needs! I had hand controls installed in my car last week and they exceeded my expectations! Mary Ann made sure they had everything they needed to get the job done and her tech Luiz did a superb job in getting everything installed professionally and secure. I spent the whole day there with them as they worked on my car, and while I was there, I witnessed extreme professionalism and great customer service. Both on the phone and with the customers who walked in were satisfied. Bottom line is this is your one stop shop to get what you need for disability/​mobility products!

My wife had foot surgery and found herself in need of a walker, the crutches were just not working for her. I went to Pacific Mobility to check out the options. Jeff showed me a «Leg Caddy», a wheeled scooter affair. We tried it out and it was a wonderful thing allowing my wife much improved mobility.
Friendly family run operation, with considerable knowledge of their products. I recommend them with 5 stars!

We had a Bruno stair lift installed just before Christmas 2013. It works extremely well and has been a life saver. Before choosing Pacific Mobility Center, we contacted three companies: The first was clearly going to rip us off. Then we got estimates from PMC and one other company. PMC’s price was hundreds of dollars lower than the other’s, AND we felt much more confident about Jeff’s understanding of the situation and his experience. So glad we went with our instincts (and the better estimate!).

I found myself disabled far before I ever expected it. I went through ALL the stages of denial, misplaced pride, and ego. I complained, moaned, cried but I REFUSED any type of assistance from my wife. I refused to use a walker or wheelchair she got me. I bought kayaks and motorcycles since I just KNEW the doctors had to be wrong. I was strong as a mule, twice as stubborn, an athlete and would NOT be some «cripple»…
Well all that went horribly wrong and landed me with sudden paralysis that left me without the use of my left leg with my right failing. I am now facing a series of new spinal surgeries I may never even survive. I went online and found my local dealers of mobility equipment since my wife thought MAYBE some small measure of the now extreme depression may subside if I could only get out of this house for even a few minutes a day.
I first went to the closest dealer here in Oceanside even though I read online HORROR stories about that business. Even read them here at Unilocal.Went anyway, and soon understood why the horror stories. I also checked online with the BBB for not only local but all ONLINE sellers of Mobility equipment. Several discoveries occurred then. The strangest was that the biggest seller online had lost their A rating with the BBB, and the one who did still have it still had a few complaints that they attempted to resolve. I was surprised to find 1 and ONLY 1 seller who was rated A+ by the BBB AND not have a single complaint even though they had been in business longer than anyone I found! And the great news was it was my local dealer, Pacific Mobility Center in San Marcos. Never would have guessed it. Not with MY luck!
So I grab the wife and off we go to visit the store. Unlike the Oceanside company we visited that was dirty, had old, crashed and trashed looking equipment for sale, THIS store was pristine CLEAN, modern and looked like a hospital setting. I whispered to the wife that we may as well go home since there was NO way I was going to pay THIS place’s high prices! We met Mary Ann Conner who began helping us and giving us guidance with NO pressure, She had a genuine compassion and understanding of what I was going through and honest desire to help me to get what would best suit me. We were talking when her husband Jeff Conner came in. He began also helping me and to my further surprise began explaining why after all I had told him about what I was looking for, I should NOT buy the over $ 4000.00 mobility scooter I had my heart set on. My wife kept looking at him kinda «weird like» and as I was about to ask her WHAT was going on (smile). She asked him if he had gone to such & such a school as a child. Sure enough, they had grown up together right here in Carlsbad. So I had now discovered a CLEAN, MODERN store with the best ratings anywhere, a super selection of mobility scooters to pick from and a guy I could trust. Too bad their prices were going to be a rip off right. Well I asked the million dollar question, and that was «how much is that scooter in the window» and was ready to say a very polite thanks but I will think about it and get back to you, and then buy online.
The last and one of my nicest surprises is when he explained they sell for the LOWEST prices allowed as everyone else does in the online «discount» store. The difference as I see it anyway is this. By buying from Pacific Mobility Center in San Marcos I get a TON of added value.

3-​THEY do the assembly and even deliver it to and INSIDE my home at NO charge
4-​They even saved me State Sales tax by informing me to get a doctor prescription! I did and that saved me hundreds of dollars… nobody ELSE brought that up in all my shopping
5-​Pacific Mobility Center has been around since 1986. Who ELSE has that record???
I could go on but now, thanks to these people I now consider part of my very OWN family, I am going to take my new Pride Mobility Scooter out for yet another spin. Nobody asked me to write this review. I wrote this because this company is far more than just a «company». They have restored just a little part of my soul that had died. At first I thought I would feel humiliated to be seen on one of these things in public… ME, ME be seen on one of THESE? Well that all evaporated after my first 6 mile ride and never even entered my brain in any of my many other rides the past weeks. They convinced me to buy the exactly correct scooter for my needs instead of upselling me, they actually DOWN sold me:-) They will be there when I need service. I will never go anywhere else for my needs and wish everyone could discover this great family that would become THEIR family if they had the chance. And let me add a special thanks to son Brian Conner who helped us day after Christmas!

I just finished helping my 94 year old grandfather install a stair lift in his house.
Reviews and community consensus for businesses that target this generation are very important! It is very easy to take advantage of the elderly, and since they are usually not computer savvy — they do not go to the internet with their experience.
I contacted several companies to help install the stair lift in his house. He would have just gone with the first one in the phone book, like the «good old days.»
None of the contractors in this area had/​have a significant number of online reviews so I had to go with my gut. Pacific Mobility Center was not the cheapest option (usually a sign of poor quality) and they were not available to install the lift as quickly as some of the other contractors (only by a few days), but I like their honesty. I dealt with the owner on the phone and she was very honest about what was involved, which lift my grandfather actually needed for his height and weight, and what the real, no bs cost would be.
When the install day came I dealt with two installers, Brian and Anthony, both of them were nice and conversational with my grandfather. All of the on-​site workers were professional. They did not not leave a mess and the product came as promised. Everyone we worked with was very patient and knew their product.
We ended up going with a Bruno stair lift. Since being first installed there have been a few adjustments required. Pacific Mobility Center was prompt about coming on-​site and making the adjustments.

Pacific Mobility Center recently installed two chair lifts in our home. We are extremely pleased with all aspects of the transaction. Sample chairs were available to demonstrate their use. Accessories were shown with no pressure to buy. Prices and terms for payment were clearly presented. It was a pleasure to have the two-​man installation team in our home. They were courteous professionals and highly skilled in the installation of these complex systems. Their clean-​up of the work area was complete with nothing left for my wife and I to do. The chair-​lifts are performing as expected. We have no reservations recommending Pacific Mobility Center to solve mobility problems.

We wanted to get a stair lift for our house. We got a recommendation for Pacific Mobility from a friend. Jeff Conner, one of the owners, came to our house in Penasquitos, showed us films and explained different kinds and prices for lifts. After we decided on the kind we wanted two men came to our house and installed the lift in less than two hours. They were friendly, respectful and explained to us exactly how to use the lift. I would recommend Pacific Mobility to anyone who needs mobility help.
