Paul’s Mobile Detailing

Paul did a great job on my car. He’s quite fast and enthusiastic with what he does. With some of the mobile detailing there are some catches to it. They use lots of water. The thing is, that the car doesn’t always get prewashed before detailing. It looks like paul is someone who knows what he’s doing.
Paul’s a great guy and knows how to handle cars. I would definitely call him back again to work and detail my car again.

I wanted to write a glorious review. However I need to be honest, since my bf was not thrilled. Paul is a very nice person, and will try to please as best as possible.
Pros: very responsive. my floors were super trashed with sand, leaves, and dog hair… He did a miraculous job at cleaning this out. Same goes for my cup holders.
Cons: arrived later than scheduled… I had to move meetings to accommodate the service after not wanting to reschedule. Very pushy for a Unilocal review… And gave me a «discounted price» which is actually comparable with regular prices elsewhere. Tried to up sell me on more services (which may or may not be needed). The car wasn’t even washed on the outside (no water on the ground around the car & when I got home my boyfriend was upset. Ran his finger on the hood and there was still lots of dirt…) It seems like it was a rushed job.

First call for Paul was a good one. He was very energetic and positive. I needed some minor scratches repaired to my brother’s car that a valet company did. He is a mobile service and was able to go look at the car for an estimate immediately. The work was done the next day. Carol works in the office, what a nice lady! I would definitely recommend his service. Thanks Paul!

Paul did an excellent job detailing the interior of my Yukon. I have three kids and I’ve absolutely destroyed my car, Paul showed up within a couple of hours of my call and completely renovated the entire interior. He’s absolutely focused on making sure things come together in the best way possible.
Since I live in the city he was able to bring everything necessary and work on my car and even keep quarters in the meter. I highly recommend his services.

Paul has a lifetime of experience detailing cars and many happy customers to show for it! I learned about his business from my neighbor and observed his excellent work firsthand.
I decided to call him soon thereafter and spoke to Paul directly. We went over what I was looking for and he came to my residence the very same day! Throughout the process, Paul was professional and courteous. He started work first thing the next morning and brought along one of his workers to help. Paul and his crew spent hours working on my car and I could not be happier about the results!

Hit a pole in a parking garage and found Paul the mobile detailer! Paul picked up as soon as I called and agreed to stop by the same day and look at the damage on my car. I was amazed that he was able to fix the damage same day in a short amount of time. Paul should be your go-​to guy if you need any scratch repairs. I met Paul because he was detailing my neighbor’s vehicle. I’m about to sell my 2009 Cadillac SRX and wanted it to look its best and Paul did a great job of making the car look new again. My major concern was the side where vandals had keyed the right side doors and fender. Now the scratch is virtually gone. Every other aspect of the job was completed to my satisfaction as well. The carpets, the leather seats, the tires and most importantly the headlamps look like new.

Paul came to San Francisco same day and detailed my car. He did a great job, and got it done before a deadline that I had. I didn’t see any connection between the prices he quoted me and the prices listed on his website, but for all the work he did the price was fair. 5 stars for coming to where I live, and doing a great job at a good price.

We have a 2005 BMW 318ti. The car is older and black color. It showed brush marks, fading paint, and dents. He came to our place. It took several appointments. He bought black paint.
He also re-​attached a loose small grill in front of car with resin. He also did inside of the car.

Paul did a phenomenal job cleaning my daughter’s car of a serious mold infestation. He was efficient, thorough and, best of all, very reasonable.
I highly, highly, recommend Paul.

There is no question that Paul knows how to detail a car and he has the equipment and assistant to do it. They came to my home in Marin, and worked on my Mercedes for about 4 hours. I found it impossible to pin him down on the price, first on the phone. If I had known what it was going to cost, that is if he had been upfront on the phone I would not have hired him. He said he wanted to give me a really good price because I was a first-​time customer and estimated possibly about $ 200.
After he arrived he started peeling off the prices for 1. The carpets, 2. The seats, 3. The exterior, and so forth. We skipped the extensive wheel work and the touch up on scratches, and it ended up costing $ 515 (including the $ 65 price of coming to my house, which I knew about beforehand).
If you think this is a good price for detailing a relatively clean car that lives in the garage, then he’s your man.

This is the first time I got my car detailed in the United States and needed someone to come out to my place to remove some minor scratches before my lease inspection. I found Paul’s business on Unilocal after reading many positive reviews.
Paul was friendly and asked lots of questions over the phone. Upon arrival we unfortunately had a miscommunication with the price however Paul in the end worked it out and made sure I was happy before proceeding.
In a few hours, he was able to remove all the scratches and made my car look brand new! I highly recommend Paul and recommend him to anyone in the Bay Area looking to get their car detailed.

I was desperate to find someone who could bring my car back to life. I have a crazy work schedule and have a hard time finding a place to take my car when it’s convenient for me. I called Paul and he picked up right away. I asked when he could fit me in to his schedule and he came out the same day! He made my car look brand new and even polished up my foggy headlights. As a bonus he even took care of a little scuff mark on my boyfriend’s suburban! I will defiantly use him again in the future, it’s so hard to find someone who pays attention to the small details! My wife and I unfortunately were the victims of a paintball on our car. It sounds minor… except it wasn’t. It splattered on 7 panels and the trim, mirrors and windows. We tried removing it with simple home measures; it didn’t work. And then a detailing service where my wife works decided to take it upon themselves to volunteer to help with it. This is where bad went to worse. They scraped the paint ball paint off of part of the car but also managed to take not only the clear coat but the actual black paint off of the mirror. Though their intentions were good, they had no idea what they were doing. Next, we took it to a body shop that actually recommended Paul as a first step.
Enter Paul and his guys. They knew exactly what to do and what not to do. They worked incredibly hard-​came out to where I live (they’re a mobile detailing business). They got all of the paintball paint off in record time and then cleaned the entire exterior. It looked really good. Except one thing… the clear coat was necessarily scratched from the process. So, Paul was not satisfied. He came back the next day with his buffer and buffed out the panels so that the car looks shinier and more pristine that it did on the new car lot (almost!).
My wife went out to get in the car today and called me: «Our car literally glows. It’s so shiny.» Paul and his guys did a great job. They are very knowledgable and want nothing more than to make your car look great.
God forbid that you have a paint accident… but if you do, call Paul!

Based on the other rave reviews here, I got my 16-​year-​old Civic detailed by Paul’s Detailing. I had a great experience working with Paul and am incredibly pleased with the results — my car has not been this reflective in a veeeeeeery long time, and the interior looked like it did when I drove off the lot. Simply amazing!
I’m new to the detailing process, Paul was very thorough (and enthusiastic) in explaning the tasks, the chemistries, materials, etc. He and his assistant Beto travel in their fully-​equipped work vehicle (with generators, sanders, vacuums, and crates and crates of oils, solvents, cleaners, you name it), enabling them to work from practically anywhere. It’s quite fun to observe — especially when Paul & Beto demonstrated the wet sanding process to restore my headlights when we were going over the details of the job. Mind blown.
Some notes to first-​timers:
— Try not to book a job with a super hard deadline. You’re dealing with a sole proprietor — so if Paul’s sick, there is no one else who can do the detailing (and because he’s a craftsman, he’s not going to be sending you a substitute!)
— A detailing job will take several hours. Once he gets going, he may discover other items to address. This is just the nature of the job, and he will clear things by you before doing them to make sure you’re ok with the additional cost. So please give time for the process to work.

Let me start by saying Paul is by far the most knowledgeable auto care expert you will ever find. The guy knows his Sh*t. The fact that he’s a super nice guy makes the whole experience phenomenal. My truck had been abused, partially by me trying to detail it… knowing well that I was clueless about these things. Paul explained everything broken down step by step, I felt confident my truck was in good hands.
He showed up ontime (early actually) and got setup in no time. After he gave me a car care 101 lesson, which was eye opening to say the least… I went back inside to finish up my daily routine. I kept waiting for a door bell, thinking Paul would surely need something from inside or a hose or something… to my suprise it never came. Paul came prepared, and professional. Thats really all I was looking for, that and a clean truck.
When the doorbell did ring, the first thing out of my mouth was NO WAY. My truck looked literally brand new, no it looked showroom floor new. The attention to detail on the trim, tires, wheels, everything was perfect. All the time consuming work that I usually skipped, was done with care… Bottom line do your self a favor and have Paul come detail your car. Whatever you think its going to look like… its going to be 10x better. Well worth every penny.
Literally as I’m writing this my neighbors are circled around my truck in awe. I;m pretty sure they think I bought a new truck!!! Thanks Paul, I’m not letting anyone else touch this truck but you moving forward!

Great service, fast and flexible. Willing to come out of the way from work to help you. The price is fair plus a great job of work. Also I got an insight step by step process from the work they have done. I had a vomit in the car from the night before and now it’s cleaned like it never happen at all.
