S and J Photo Creation

My family has been dealing with S&J for years now.
They are willing to go above & beyond, very passionate about what they do and it reflects in their work. Their pricing is reasonable, and you get to view/​download the pictures via password-​protected website. They are friendly, patient, and creative in their approach.
For our engagement pictures, they actually asked us to meet in person so we could discuss the style of pictures and how we want them to be shot. This is the kind of professional approach that will guarantee them repeating business from us over years to come.

I am new to reviewing on Unilocal but I just got married last month and am writing reviews for all my wonderful vendors including S&J Photo Creation! They were absolutely wonderful to work with! Everyone at S&J are very professional and take their work seriously. During the initial meeting, Jaimie sat down with my husband and I to understand the look we wanted and was able to show us their portfolio of digital photos as well as their gorgeous photo albums. We knew immediately after that meeting we were booking them! Stanley and Ted shot both our engagement photos and wedding day. They both have great creative energy, like to try different things and will work with you to get amazing shots! They were able to capture every amazing moment of our special day with a variety of journalist shots, as well as the formal family shots the parents want. I would recommend S&J to anyone seeking wedding photography because they really listen to what you want and deliver. My sister liked my photos so much, she booked them for her daughter’s 1^st birthday party!

It is not always easy to leave great photos on your special day, but when my friend showed her engagement photos taken by S&J photo creation, I just loved them!
They took both my engagement and wedding photos and it was just perfect choice.
They know the best spots in San Francisco for great pictures. At first, I was a little bit nervous about the fact that I had to pose in front of lots of people on the street. However, as experts who have lots of experiences, they constantly talked to me and made me feel relaxed for awesome photos!
On my wedding date, although it was a long day, they turned our lifetime event into beautiful photos. Even our guests really enjoyed photo time!

My husband and I were in need of a photographer and S&J came highly recommended by friends of ours. They initially did our San Francisco engagement session in the Presidio and our San Francisco city hall ceremony. They are truly experts in what they do! We had such beautiful photos to capture our special day that we arranged for them to photograph our LA wedding reception a few months later.
We were not disappointed and received a beautiful collection of photos that captured our big day. Everything from artistic photographs to action shots on the dance floor!

We had Stanley and Tedd for our wedding photography at SF city hall for two hours. They took great photos of us. They were very professional and knew where to go and take shots using lights and shadow inside the city hall. They worked together very nicely and managed the time very efficiently.
Jaimie responded to our phone calls or emails very quickly and we were able to arrange a time to meet with her and discuss regarding our theme and style before taking photos. Price was also reasonable compared to other photography businesses around the bay area.

When my wife and I started looking for a wedding photographer we thought it was going to be very difficult process to find one that would meet all of our criteria. Not too long into our search we found S and J Photo Creation through Unilocal.We were very impressed with their portfolio, prices, and flexibility to work with our schedules. Jaimie, Stanley and the rest of S and J vendors were wonderful to work with.
Jaimie is very accommodating and responsive. She will reply to your emails whether its the weekend or midnight.
We also hired them to film our wedding and the teaser video came out great. Thank you Aaron and Elsa! We look forward to seeing our completed wedding album and video. We love the beautiful engagement album they made for us.
Stanley and Tedd are very talented and creative photographers. If you are looking for photographers that will capture real emotions and beauty; these are your guys.
We would also recommend using their decorator Jin and dessert extraordinaire Jin Hee. Showstopping and delicious!

We evaluated a dozen wedding photographers going into our wedding. Choosing S&J was a no brainer based off their portfolio, cost and strong references. But the best part was working with them. They were a delight to have at our wedding. Very professional. Flexible and easy to work with. We haven’t received the final wedding shots yet, but if they’re anything like the teaser shots, the end results are going to be fantastic. We can’t wait to see them!
We’re so glad we went with them and we’d definitely go with them again.

Such a great experience with S&J Photo Creation! We worked with Jaimie on the contracts and via email and worked with Stanley on the day of our engagement photos and on our wedding day. We are so happy with the results! They were a pleasure to work with on all fronts! Very reasonably priced and so accommodating.
Stanley had nice ideas for poses that weren’t too stiff or awkward and great recommendations for locations when we gave him rough ideas of what we had in mind for our engagement photos. We had them make our wedding guest book out of our engagement photos as well as our wedding albums and they did a great job! Stanley captured all the important moments of the day and even a bunch I didn’t know happened (busy day!). The photos were wonderful in quality and diverse and there were soooo many which was perfect for us.
The best part about S&J is all their service was done with a smile even in the late night trying to gather hyped-​up guests for a final photo. I have never written any Unilocal reviews, but I absolutely have to for S&J. A friend recommended S&J. They did our engagement photo session as well as our wedding. Amazing! Not only do the photos turn out absolutely gorgeous — they were all a pleasure to have as part of our wedding. Our wedding party, family and friends were all raving about them after the wedding. Jaimie, Ted and Stan are the best wedding photographers anybody could ask for. I have been recommending them to all of my friends.

My husband and I decided, on a whim, to get our wedding photos taken in downtown San Francisco (we are from the midwest). We decided to go with S and J Photo Creation based on their sample pictures from their blog. What a great choice — we could not be happier with the experience or the results. Stanley Kim treated us great during the shoot and was full of ideas and great places for a positive shot (both results of having done this many, many times).
Sometimes in life when you’re unsure, you just have to take a shot. We are super happy we took our shot with S and J.

I was shopping for a photographer for our engagement and wedding photos and S & J was my first (and last) stop! I met with Jaimie and she was so nice, organized, and professional that I didn’t need to look anywhere else. They did an engagement session, photo book, 10 hours of wedding day photos, and 2 discs for us. Everything was more than I could’ve asked for and their service was impeccable! We will definitely use them in the future when we need baby photos done ^_^

My wife and I chose S&J to do our wedding and engagement photos from a friends’ recommendation. We had previously had wedding and engagement photos taken by someone else and they turned out so horrendous that we had to retake them. Luckily these guys were amazingly good.
We had requests for locations and times that they had all accommodated for. When our finished photos came out, we were finally satisfied. The photos were exactly what we wanted, stunning and romantic wedding photos, and fun and lively engagement photos.

Do you know how difficult it is to find a great talented photographer? You probably do if you are reading this.
I was preparing our son’s first birthday for 3 months. And finding a great photographer to capture all my work AND once in a life time memories was a big deal. And I found them! S&J Photos creation!
We had a 2-​hour studio shoot and a then a 3-​hour birthday party shoot.
Now imagine this: studio shoot with 7 adults and 4(!!) kids for 2 hours. Recipe for disaster!!! The kids are getting tired and restless and babies are crying and crawling away from the scene… BUT the pictures came out great!!!
Thank you guys for HARD work and endless patience :)

We used S&J (aka SugarBaby) to document our daughter’s first birthday party as well as to shoot some pictures in their studio prior to the party. Jaime and Stanley exhibited incredible patience and professionalism during the studio session and Jaime’s photojournalistic coverage of the birthday party produced pictures that were beyond our already-​high expectations.
We liked them so much that we actually «gifted» their services for our friends’ civil marriage ceremony just a couple of weeks after the birthday. One of the things that struck me during their coverage of the ceremony was their dedication to getting all the shots that the happy couple wanted, even if it meant going a few minutes over the allotted time. I should note that, although they have shot many civil ceremonies at SF City Hall, they still got there well in advance to ensure that they were ready to go when the couple arrived.
We are definitely planning on booking them again and have already recommended them to all of our friends.

We had S&J do our wedding in Sausalito and I can’t say enough great things about the experience. They showed up on time and were very patient with us even when the bride was running late for our ‘first look’ shoot. Stanley and Ted were both very professional and gave great direction through out the whole thing (they even stayed later than the allotted time we had for them which was great!). They thought creatively and were willing to try different (sometimes crazy) things to get a great shot. They also spend a lot of quality time in post production making the pictures (and us) look great! And the best part is that the final pictures turned out amazing. Highly recommend S&J for any event where you need an experienced (and reasonably priced) photographer!

S&J was referred to us by a friend who got married a year earlier. He also highly recommended, but did not use, Studio Cake in Menlo Park. Both recommendations were excellent and I could not have picked any better.
Jaimie and Tedd took great photos. Jaimie was our lead/​contact person, and this 5-​star rating is not only for the photos, but for her efficiency, responsiveness and professionalism as well. She is friendly and intuitive — after briefly explaining the kind of shots I wanted she understood it right away (that’s not as easy as it sounds… think about the different brides she works with who have different styles).
Communicating and scheduling with her was very easy. Turnaround was extremely fast, from the contract, to getting photo links and CDs in the mail, to the album. I never even had to follow up with anything, because she was always on top of things. This is the kind of photographer you want on your wedding day/​planning, one who will not add to your stress but will actually help you.
S&J’s rates are very reasonable and fair. They are not the type to nickel-​and-​dime you after the contract is signed (read: honest).
I have recommended them to a couple of friends, and people who have seen our wedding photos have asked about «our» photographer. Their work speaks for them. Thank you, Jaimie and Tedd.

Finding the perfect photographer for our wedding was one of the most stressful tasks on the wedding to do list. After interviewing 5 – 6 photographers we started feeling discouraged. But then a girlfriend of mine introduced me to Jaimie. After meeting her and looking at her portfolio, I instantly knew she was the «one». She’s fun, sweet and easy going. She’s also got great ideas for style and poses. She’s got the natural story telling kinda of photos which we love.
I have to give Jaimie a lot of credit for her patience. She worked almost 14 hours on our wedding day and was all smiles the entire time! We just got all 1273 photos and we absolutely LOVE them! Couldn’t be happier with the final product. Her work is truly impressive! The hard part now is choosing which pictures to blow up… there are TOO many favorites! Thanks Jaimie for all your hard work! Looking forward to using you again soon :)

Jaimie was great! She was very patient with me answering my million questions. Some photographers out there really don’t have the patience for that, which I experienced after sifting through a ton of the photographers on wpja. I’m glad I decided on hiring Jaimie. She was very flexible, did a great job with my engagement photos and wedding photos. Amazing job with the editing of my photos. The composition of my photos were exactly what I wanted.
Best of all, her turn around with my photos was fast. she finished all of it within the two weeks since I needed to use some for my holiday card.
