British Car Repairs by Ed Wright

Clint and his team are tremendously nice people to deal with. Being an owner of a Range Rover that isn’t under warranty puts one in a position where they should like their repair shop as they will spend more time and money than desired.
That said, I brought my 05 RR to Clint based on the reviews on Unilocal.The service requested was a full inspection as the car was an eBay purchase. The problems that I identified when dropping off the truck were addressed, but here is what was missed.
–Non-​functioning Rear Passenger Window
–Headlight Ballasts wired directly into the fuel pump fuse… which recently fried the pump ($ 1k+ repair at another shop)
–Rear door bolts loose triggering the doors to make a loud popping noise… this took me 2 minutes to repair once I realized no special tool was required.
You don’t know what you don’t know, so there may be more. I will likely soon pay to have a second full inspection with another shop.
Finally, there was little attempt to clean grease/​oil from the passenger areas after the work was performed.
I am a disappointed with the experience, but I appear to be the exception, not the rule.

Clint not only saved me $$$ by proving the dealer’s diagnosis wrong, he put me back on the road with even more peace of mind. Clint has helped me with two British cars, my Range Rover Classic, and my Land Rover Discovery II. He has consistently provided fast, efficient, and intelligent repair services for my vehicles. He really knows his stuff when it comes to British cars.
I don’t know why anyone who had a Range Rover, Land Rover, Jaguar, or even a Humber, would go to anyone else.

a very good experience. The car was going in for a general check up &
battery change. I got a good feeling as soon as I drove in, clean garage,
fair prices and a respectful cast of mechanics, what else can you ask for?

Clint is the best! He has rescued our cars (and us) more times than I can count. I have called him when the battery died, the starter died, after my daughter’s car accident, etc. He is always a voice of calm on the other end of the phone. I trust him completely — with my Honda, my jeep and my British car. He always looks for ways to save me money, so I have never once gasped when he gave me the bill — my usual reaction to bills from the dealership. Take your car to Ed Wright’s British Car Repair if you want someone you can trust.

Easily the best place to get your Rover repaired, general maintenance or any type of service. Clint and his team are very knowledgeable and great to work with.

I’ve been bringing my two Range Rovers to Clint at Ed Wright for years now and I think that he and his team are fantastic. They are knowledgeable, highly ethical and reasonably priced. I can’t say enough good things about this shop.
