Specialties

Whether cooking for you, offering side-by-side coaching, or teaching lessons, the kitchen experience is not just about perfection – it’s about the input and opinions of everyone and respect for all those involved. I believe in giving as much love and good energy to the preparation of my meals as I can and believe I can learn from everyone. I love to cook for people who are aware of their health and are interested in what they are eating.

Special Event Catering: Chef and service help for special events ranging from preparation of one particular dish to an entire meal with drinks, service and cleanup included.

Special Event Co-Cooking: When clients desire some expert help in the kitchen to tackle a new, adventurous or more challenging menu, Luis is available to work side by side with you in the kitchen. He will help ensure not only a fabulous meal for your guests but also a fun and stress free experience in preparing the meal.

Cooking Classes: For anyone that wants to learn more about food preparation, specific types of cuisine or just wants to have fun in the kitchen. Luis has provided cooking lessons for both children and adults and feels there is always something great to learn in the kitchen at any age or stage of cooking skill.

Meet the Business Owner

Luis L.

Business Owner

Luis lagos grew up in Mexico City and comes from a long history of cooking, where hand-written recipes had been passed on through generations for dishes that can take 4 days to prepare in traditional fashion. While working as a furniture designer in Mexico City, Luis realized that cooking was his passion and moved to Oaxaca where he began to cook for friends, turning his home into a restaurant. One day he was invited to cook with the best French chef that was living in Mexico City. He sold his business and apprenticed for a year with a number of well known chefs from France, Spain, New York and Mexico.
