We have been roofing in the Bay Area for over 30 years. We do both residential and commercial roofing. We specialize in tile, copper, slate and seamless gutters. We also do modified bitumen and asphalt fiberglass shingle roofing and skylight installations. We also do repairs and maintenance.

Miranda’s roofing contractor did an excellent job at our Sufi mosque in Oakland. They replaced the old roof with new tile, and braces. The work was professional, timely, and was done with required skills. The contractor, Gils, was very cooperative and made sue there were no loose ends.

My husband happened to meet Gil when he was in a roofing supply store, resourcing the material to renew our 20 year old torched on roof. Gil brought Luis Miranda by to review the project, our steep hillside location in Sausalito. The price was very good, the work excellent, clean up and with proper permitting. All done in a timely manner. We would recommend them without hesitation.

OMG, these guys are great. The day after the contract was signed (and it was a thorough, well written contract), a crew of 6 guys were at my home in Fairfax. The home had a foam roof which leaked (Sierra Spray Foam Roofing) and also a composition shingle section. The old roof was gone in less than 2 days and the new roof was on within a week afterwards.
Also, there were 12 skylights that Mirandas replaced and did a great job.
The entire crew, led by Luis Miranda and Gil Nicholls, were friendly and always were concerned about cleanup inside & outside.
I recommend them highly and I was not paid to say so.

We initially contacted Miranda Roofing for a quotation on installing a new roof, but ended up doing a major renovation involving new siding, decks front and back, painting and refinishing. They did an absolutely first class job, and we are delighted with the results. They were completely honest and reliable, and very competitive in their pricing. Gil Nichols is something of a perfectionist, which is exactly what is needed for this kind of work. He has been in touch a few times since the job was completed, just to make sure that everything is working as expected. They will certainly be the first company I call when we need to have anything else done in the future.

As a General Contractor for over 23 years, I am a stickler about my subcontractors. I need them to show up on time, work efficiently and leave the place better than they found it. I have built my business on fair prices, high quality work, and timely scheduling, which I require from my subs as well. Gil Nichols is the main consultant for Miranda’s Roofing and while he is a bit of a ‘character’, he knows his roofing! These guys always show up on time, do clean work and have very competitive pricing. I’ve been very pleased with them and the ONLY reason I didn’t put 5 stars, is that the team might appear a little ‘rough around the edges’ to the average client… but if you don’t judge them by this, then you will be pleasantly surprised. I continue to use them for ALL my roofing projects.
