We just closed escrow with Matthew Barba from the Jilly Lyons team! He is super personable, honest, and extremely professional. He really supported us through our first home purchase. Both my husband and I emailed him with so many questions at all hours, and he was always quick to respond and more than happy to answer them. We managed to close escrow in a very short period of time, thanks to Matt. Jill has been my go to lender for a number of years. I’ve had several occasions where Jill has pulled off a bit of a minor miracle. In one occasion, my client had a lender they already worked with previously, and felt comfortable with. Unfortunately, 10 days had already gone by before the lender realized that the property was a condo, not a detached home. For this reason, the condo was not on the FHA approved list of, and that lender could not get the loan for them. Next, my client tired Bank of America, where they did their banking. Again; after 5 days had lapsed, no dice there either. Desperate, they finally took my advice and went with Jill. With very limited time, Jill, was able to get them approved, and the loan funded on time. No small feat, and under a lot of pressure, as my clients were facing a per-​diem charge if we did not close on time, given that this was a Bank Owned purchase. Throughout the loan process, clients can be, and often are thrown a lot of curve balls. Jill has demonstrated time and time again, that she can easily navigate the ever-​changing lending landscape.

Jill recently helped us find a mortgage that fit our needs perfectly. She was very aware of our finances and gave us every possible option. She was very knowledgable of the ever changing loan regulations and expedited our loan to avoid some unneeded additional requirements due to the recent government shutdown. My realtor actually said that he’s never seen a loan processed so fast.

I just used Jill for a mortgage on our house that closed today. She was systematic, patient and very responsive by email and phone. She came recommended to us by our realtor Glenn (who is also 5 stars but that is another review altogether) and we closed in less than 30 days on a rather large (so it seems to me) loan.
She took all of our information on the phone, followed up with requests for documentation that were not onerous and got us pre-​approved with an underwriter before we put a bid on the house. Once in escrow, loan approval came within a week and her team ensured that any last minute communications were prompt. She also coordinated beautifully with our escrow agent and there were no missed steps.
The entire process was quick and flawless — i would recommend her to anyone.
