Matthew recently helped me refinance my condo and he made the process so easy and seamless! At first, I was a little intimidated at the idea of refinancing, since it was the first time I was going through the process and had no idea what to do or where to begin, but Matthew assured me that he would take care of everything on his end to help me and he certainly did! Other than providing the necessary documents for the refinance, my effort in the process was minimal, which is exactly what I wanted. Matthew was on top of everything and very responsive to my questions and in getting all the necessary paperwork at the right time. During the process, I was travelling out of the country a few times, so he made sure to expedite everything that he could and accommodate my hectic timing. He even would check in with me on a Saturday if there was something that needed immediate attention. Matthew was also very knowledgeable and had a great read on the market. He gave me a heads up that the thought interest rates would be going up and asked if I would be okay with him locking in my rate (which I was) and sure enough, the rates went up within a couple of days. I will definitely use him again as my loan officer and highly recommend him to everyone!

My husband and I jumped off the deep end by building a home in the foothills, and Matthew really made the process much easier. His response time to any and all questions is quick. He is very easy to work with. From the very beginning he was on top of the paperwork. He was always out in front of the whole procedure, and he kept it painless. When our new home was finished had us signing the final paperwork. I would highly recommend him for any of your financial needs when buying or building your next home.

I am a Realtor that has worked extensively with Matt. He is my «go-​to» loan officer because of the following:
–wide array of loan «products,» i.e., types of loans… which is very important in this difficult market.
–availability: Matt is available (within reason, of course) on evenings and weekends. He honors his word about callbacks and communication, which is not true of everyone in our industry.
–knowledge: he knows how to close deals quickly and competently. Recent law changes have made it harder to close on tight deadlines, and it’s important to know that all my moving parts are in order when I have a client offer a quick close. Knowing that Matt will mind the small details, get everything right, and if something happens to go wrong, put the effort and due diligence into fixing it, helps make my life easier.
TL;DR: Matt is a rock star and I send my clients to him even though it doesn’t (directly) make me a cent. It sure make my/​my clients’ lives/​transactions easier, though.

My wife and I had been searching for homes for about a week and while talking about it during a dinner event we came across Matt. He was very informative on the procedure and was more than happy to give us more information on the loan approval process. My wife and I really lucked out meeting Matthew. I met him at the open house for the home we bought and I’m sure glad we did! We had been looking for a home in the bay area for over 6 months, to the point where realtors even told me I should get into the business. The one thing I was not as well versed in was the loan process. Enter Matthew. I am in the military and wanted to take advantage of my veteran benefits. For some reason the same people who put a flag in their front lawn are the same ones who don’t want to deal with VA loans. Matt was exceptionally knowledgeable about everything including making suggestions like putting money down to reduce the VA funding fee. Totally not his responsibility but showed how genuine he is. My boyfriend and I recently closed on our first home and Matt was extremely helpful every step of the way. I used Matt for the purchase of our first home in November 2014 and I would highly recommend him (and do) to anyone purchasing a home or looking into a re-​fi. I had heard horror stories about purchasing a home, that it was frustrating with a lot of delay and requests for financial and other documents that were unending. I did not experience this with Matt. He provided us a list of documents that he needed right from the start which were either needed right away, or were requested from us in anticipation that we would be asked for them later.
