On Saturday I looked at van. Battery needed to be jump started to test drive it. It also had a few ants inside the van. Manager Miguel said he would clean the van again and take a look at the battery to see if it needed a new one. Today I called the manager letting him know I would come to the dealer to pick it up and purchase it. He said great I will have it ready. See you tonight. I came today to pick it up and sign paperwork. Van won’t start because they never checked the battery, never cleaned the van, still had ants in the van. Needless to say they cared very little about me, because nothing was done. And it was placed on the lot to be purchased. I already said I was getting it. I left without the van due to poor customer service.

The worst dealership u can imagine… they sold me a car with way too many problems including 4 dry old tires which would have caused a disaster including that the car had been in a major accident and fixed horibile and car fax stated it was clean which is all a lie and salesmen didn’t even try recompense anything… These guys are rip offs and don’t recommend anybody to these crooks.

Just bought a car Sunday and already having problems they rushed me out of the office once they recieved my down Payment and told me that if I find any problems to call and they will add it to due sale. I understand it was late and it was closing but where is the great customer service ?! Spoke with Mike today and was told he cannot guarantee that they will fix my problems. I have an exposed electrical pallet and it I could get electrocuted. Mike didnt seemed to concerned. Shouldn’t matter of you have amazing or bad credit every customer should be treated the same !

Be careful with this dealership! Ask for a car fax! This place sold me a damaged car and when I asked for minor issues to be fixed (the only issues I knew at the time) they wanted to keep the car for 3 weeks after I just purchased it. 2 years later I find out the vehicle has frame damage, it’s been in accidents ect. Currently opening a case to sue sterling imports!

I just bought a beautiful car from Sterling. My credit is not that great so I figured it wouldn’t work out, I called Mike Morgan on Saturday and Sunday afternoon I was driving away in my new car. They are fair, honest and easy to work with. You can’t really ask for a better place to go when you need a car as soon as possible and not enough credit to go to the big dealerships! Thanks!

I wanted to allow some time to pass to give a fair review. I am giving this dealer a generous 2 star rating. I would recommend taking any vehicle you purchase here to be inspected by your personal mechanic. It doesn’t hurt to get a second opinion.
I am going to be fair and realistic. I understand this is a used car lot so I had to be reasonable with my requests. They give you a 30 day warranty or 1,000 miles (whichever comes first) to have any issues addressed by them. Please keep in mind depending on the issue they’ll fix it for 50% of the cost. The other 50% would be out of your pocket. Although I had some issues they fixed them for 100% cost to them.
Since I knew I had 30 days to fix any problems I was on top of this the moment I drove out of this lot. The first issue which occured and I knew would happen was the ignition switch needed to be replaced. They took care of it. I must admit they were attentive and handled it at no cost to me. I needed a tire replaced and they sent me to a tire shop to receive a used, but in decent shape tire.
The third and biggest issue. Let me say this for any new customers please make sure you receive paperwork stating the vehicle passed smog. The only reason I even asked about the smog was because my mechanic gave me the heads up. Since my vehicle had a modified air filter and not a standard issue this raised a red flag. This of course is not on the dealer since they received this vehicle that way. What is on the dealer is giving me word of mouth stating the vehicle passed smog. They assured me it did after asking them numerous times. I insisted on knowing the location of where it got smogged. I didn’t like the answers I was getting. They didn’t provide me with any paperwork either proving it passed.
To give myself peace of mind I went to a smog test station and paid out of my pocket. It was worth $ 60 to put my mind at ease. Sure enough this vehicle failed smog. It is the responsibility of the dealer or owner under certain guidelines to smog a vehicle and make sure it passes smog before selling it. When I went back to the dealer to show my paperwork the representative didn’t know what to say to me. He tried sugar coating it but failed miserably. He even offered to give me my money and rescind the loan contract. I refused for 2 reasons. Overall I knew I had a decent vehicle and two I just wanted them to fix the problem.
I was going to be without my vehicle for a day since they needed to fix the problem. I needed a vehicle so they rented one for me. Although that in it’s self is another long story. I won’t get into that. It was a pain in the ass too is all I will say. Seeing I didn’t trust these guys I insisted I wanted to be present when they took the vehicle to get smogged. They granted my wish and I was present to make sure everything was legit. It passed smog and I was happy. I was done so I thought. Oh by the way an air pump needed to be replaced which was the problem.
At 186 miles exactly the service engine soon light came on. I went to my mechanic to have it checked. I didn’t trust the dealer to tell me the truth. I found out what the problem was and went to the dealership. I didn’t tell them I knew what the problem was except that the service engine light came on and I needed to know why. I went to the mechanic. Now mind you I wasn’t rude, but I wasn’t polite either. I straight up told him what was going on. I just want them to fix my ride so I can live my life and not be coming there anymore. I told him I didn’t want anymore Mickey Mouse stuff being done to my ride. Fix the problem. I could tell this pissed him off. For some reason he couldn’t check my car in that moment. «Since he’s the only mechanic there and only works on one vehicle per day he didn’t have time to at least tell me what was wrong.» These were his words but in spanish. A pissed off hispanic is what he was for me talking smack.
He told me to talk to the representive inside and make arrangements with him. I could tell that people there didn’t want to see. I am telling you I was on it. I was not going to be taken for a sucker at anytime from these cats; especially since I am a female. I knew I had 30 days to get things done and I handled it. I told them I would be back by a certain date to get the problem addressed. I never went back. I had enough and wanted things done right. I also did get enough out of them for the other issues.
In the end I paid a third party to fix my problem which guess what was still smog related. The impression I get from all this. They did Mickey Mouse work to make it look good and have it pass. I replaced the oxygen sensor and relay. The job was inspected properly to ensure that everything else was good to avoid future problems. I had them inspect the air pump which was replaced by the dealer. It was also used, but good enough that I shouldn’t have any problems with it. I paid $ 190 to have this last issue fixed.

This place helped me find the right car in the right price range. Never thought that would happen especially when every other dealer on Harbor turned me away.
Its not a flashy dealer but these guys are no non-​sense. Sales guy Raul was really helpful and easy to talk to. He made sure we felt comfortable and was very honest with us about the process. Manager Gus didn’t sugar coat anything but still helped me even with bad credit. Definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.

Bought a car 3 months ago starting to have transmission problems already ! Stay away from this dealer !!! N to top it of they finace you with mas finacial that charges $ 30 extra for making a payment with them !!!

sales man tony laughed and told me my 30 days was up and that i could not do anything that he would gladly pick up the car in his exact words but i was not going to see my $ 2000 dollar down payment back.
that they would not help me.
worst dealer by far.
save yourself the head ache and go somewhere else to buy a car.
