My husband took me here on Monday to celebrate my b-day. We have kids so we know that Chili’s is kid friendly. I wasn’t expecting too much.(After all this is Chili’s) We ordered the two for $ 20.00 I ordered a Presidente margarita. That was watered down. We ordered salads to come out before the hamburgers.(salads came out after the app and after the meal) So I asked the server to box it up as I wasn’t going to be eating it just then. The waitress was nice to the kids and very playful. I had to ask several times for my table to be cleared. AS I mentioned I have kids a 2 and 3 year old so the less clutter the better. Finally the table was cleared. By this time the check had been delivered. I have been to this location before. But this will be the last time that I bring my family here. Later that night my husband spent the rest of the night curled up in front of the toilet throwing up. At first I didn’t think of him getting sick from dinner at Chili’s. Because I wasn’t sick. And we had ordered the same thing. Except I had my salad boxed up.(My husband missed work the next day) So it wasn’t until I ate my salad later the next day that I became very ill. I had also started throwing up missed the whole day of work. Went to the doctors to be told that I had food poisoning . I would never NEVERGOBACK!!! VERYDISAPPOINTED!!!

Worst experience ever. Me and hubs don’t go out a lot but we decided to stay local and celebrate his getting a new job. He ordered fajitas and I ordered a burger. Upon getting our food his fajitas were clearly cold and the plate wasn’t sizzling at all like fajitas typically do. We immediately told the waiter that his plate was cold and requested it be heated. Our table was right next to the kitchen enterance. The waiter took the plate and on his way back into the kitchen yelled«WEHAVE A CRYBABYONOURHANDS!» Taken aback I thought to myself, did I really just hear that? But when a lady at the table next to us turned to me and asked, «did he really just say that?» I was beyond embarrassed for myself and my husband. We were made fools in front of a whole dining room of dinner goers and everyone heard the guy. I immediately called for the manager who did really nothing to help the situation. She wouldn’t even let us see the waiter when all we asked for is an apology. She tried to remedy the situation with a free dessert. I later emailed their corporate regarding the situation. Received a generic I’m sorry from I believe the district manager but when I replied asking what was done to ensure that a customer not be belittled in their establishment again, I got no response. They deserve ZERO stars. No one goes to dinner to get humiliated in front of other guests. I will never get over it and will tell EVERYONE I know of how terrible chilis treats their guests.

My coworker and I ended up here for lunch during a day of joint sales calls. We were seated at a booth and were greeted by our waiter who took our drink order. I ordered the prime rib prime rib bowl which was tasty and contained prime rib, lettuce, three cheeses, black beans, Pico de gallo salsa and citrus rice. What I didn’t expect was a plastic bag that looked like a used condom. I flagged the manager down who apologized and explained to me that it was the food preparation bag. He took my new order of the prime rib burrito and I requested him to hold the plastic wrap. Surprisingly after that ordeal, I enjoyed the burrito, it was tasty, filling and the waiter deducted my entrée from the bill. Mishaps happen in every industry so I’m sympathetic about what happened. I’ve experienced many times discovering hair in soup entrées and all I got was a apology and not even a deduction on the entrée — so I felt the Chile’s staff handled the situational well.

This evening my husband daughter and I went to our«mutual» favorite Chili’s in Santee, we entered at 7:28. We were directed by the greeter to stand by a soiled table in the bar area and someone would clean it off immediately for us. A manager was behind the bar with the main barkeep and eye contact WAS made. At 7:40 I went back to the greeter and let her know no one was wiping the table even as we were standing there, blocking the aisleway. The greeter came to the table and disinfected it so we could sit down. The manager went back to the kitchen. We perused the menus and waited for ANYONE to maybe get a drink, place our order, etc. At 7:55, we got up to leave since no one had yet to even acknowledge our existence. I went to the barkeep(female with red ponytail) and asked to see the manager. Then a waitress wearing flowered bias tape as a headband wiped the table I had just risen from and asked if there was something she could get me. I answered, «That would have been nice about 25 minutes ago.» She responded, «Oh, I didn’t see you!» I responded, «It’s your job to see.» The manager walked slowly toward me, as the waitress scurried off, and said, «Can I help you?» I explained to him everything above and also the fact that He saw us there and nothing was done, also that my daughter is Diabetic and waiting for half an hour to even get a drink was deplorable service. He asked if there was anything he could get me now. I stormed off after my husband and daughter. We had to eat food that none of us wanted simply to attend to the diabetes issue. We are all so terribly disappointed, 1, because we didn’t get the food we were so looking forward to and 2, because no one at this Chilis seemed to give a damn about our treatment, or about their job duties, save the sweet greeter who washed the table off so we could sit. What a sad demonstration of customer service. This was our favorite go-to that has a menu to appeal to each of our different tastes. We are just so bummed

Probably the worst service I have had here. It took 40 minutes to just get the kids dinners. Not to mention the lettuce on my sons hamburger was wilted and slimy.

(I wanted to give 0 stars but I guess I cannot?) I feel like I’ve been pretty truthful in all of my reviews so far good or bad so take my advice or not that’s up to you however, I’m just trying to save you from the agony. This is the worst chain restaurant location I have ever been to so far. Twice I’ve been there the service was horrendous and although it was a pretty slow Monday night, it took over an HOUR for my food to come out and almost 45 minutes for my side of friends to come out which I asked for an appetizer. Really? They’re fries! I ended up having to have them box it before it even came to the table and bring my check all together. No apologies were exchanged and it also took atleast a good 20 minutes before our waitress would even come check on our table seeing if we needed more drinks. Never again will I spend my money at that establishment. Ridiculous. Again, I’m just trying to help you guys out if you’re out. The decision is yours.

Busy place on a Friday the staff cannot handle the load. Watched while the staff catered to an old couple at the bar not really ordering anything substantial. Bar manager even came out to cater to them not acknowledging any other customers. Orders were very slow to come out to point chips and salsa was forgotten by staff

Our food and service was very good. It was the restaurant that was a disaster. From the moment we were sat every(no exaggeration) empty table had dirty plates, cups, silverware, and trash on it. Even our tables appetizer and appetizer plates weren’t bussed until our food arrived. The floor of the restaurant had food and trash around the aforementioned tables. The tables stayed the way they were during our entire dinner and when walking out we noticed the bar looked just as bad. I am very disappointed in the lack of management at this location. All employees should work as a team to keep the dinning area clean including the servers, busters, hosts, and especially management. We dubbed this location«The White Trash Chili’s»

Upon entering, there was no host at the welcoming podium. About a minute after entering and waiting at the podium, I was greeted and directed to a table for seating. Upon sitting down, I noticed each table had electronic kiosk machines where slide shows displayed with promotions such as games, puzzles and coupons. About six minutes after sitting down, a waitress arrived to provide a menu and took my beverage order. Once the menu was reviewed, I ordered and requested their three chicken tacos combo which comes with two sides, a bean platter and rice platter. After the food was received, about a twenty five minute wait, I dug into my food. The tacos plate had black beans with a yellow colored rice and the three chicken tacos stuffed in a mount which kept each taco intact. I liked the taco mount. Kept the tacos nice and neat which made them more appealing. Upon biting into the tacos, I noticed the chicken was not seasoned. The chicken tasted bland and dry. Since there was no seasoning amongst the chicken, I knew the other tacos were not going to taste good either. They didn’t taste good. The black beans were not tasty either. They were missing a desire to further eat them. They didn’t have any desiring flavor to finish them so I didn’t The yellow rice was good. The rice did not have a great taste either, but it did not taste bad therefore, average. The waitress was professional during the initial interaction while placing my order, but she did not return to follow up once eating. I ran out of water while eating with no re-fill offered. Thankfully, the electronic kiosks also accepted credit cards so I paid and left once deciding I was over the visit. Overall, the service was slow, the food was tasteless and needing improvement and the overall experience was not worth returning again. One star for getting the order right and one star for being open and providing a service.

I got a combo plate with a soft chicken taco, chicken enchilada and chicken quesidilla. It came with black beans and lime chili rice. My favorites were the chicken enchilada and rice. Delicious. My husband got a combo plate with a 6 oz. Sirloin, ancho salmon, skillet mashed potatoes and onion rings. He said the salmon was delicious but did not feel the ancho sauce went well with salmon and he also told me his steak tasted like it was a frozen low quality steak. We both loved the service there, our waitress was very friendly and attentive.

Time to give up on Chili’s as a brand at this point. Every single decision resulting in what has become the modern Chili’s seems to have been misguided. That is, Chili’s haunchos — and haunchitas — have spent too much time visiting hipster cafes and Panini boutiques in search of ideas to keep the franchise relevant. While it’s been very encouraging to see the chain scrape all the random paraphernalia from the walls, everything else has failed. There’s no an interactive germ farm at the center of each seating arrangement. Why. Most of us eat this food with our hands. It is absolutely sickening to think the table prior to us did the same, scratched their unmentionables, touched their wallets and phones, and then fondled the germ box to pay the bill. I refuse to pay using that thing, and I won’t visit another branch of Chili’s if I see them out on the tables. We STILL have a server at the table, so what purpose exactly does that box serve? Another flaming fail is the toppings served with fajitas. Chili’s used to make above average fajitas, and used to supply decent-sized portions of cheese, salsa, sour cream, the whole deal that makes a fajita taste like a fajita and not a bicycle tire. Now? They bring out this ridiculous tower of «topping shots.» You can dump this entire assembly onto a tortilla and still have room in there for all the meat you need. I’m just going to start bringing a bag of grapes with me to the table, and when the server asks why I’m putting grapes on my tortilla, I’m going to say, «Because you all don’t bring enough toppings, and oh by the way, I should never have to request sour cream separately.» So yeah, down on Chili’s. It has become the Domino’s Pizza of Southwestern food.

I used to avoid Chilis like the plague. I thought it was gross Not anymore. They seemed to revamp the menu and the service. Been here 2x in the last month and a half and it has been excellent both times. First time I was with a group of 5 and Erin was our server and she was excellent at her job. Second time we sat in the bar and Jordan was our server and she was also excellent. The food was great as well as the happy hour, too. If you like pickles this is your place. They have house made pickles and OMG. Try them. So GOOD. they are thick cut and delicious. They offer them on the side and on burgers and deep fried as an appetizer. I definitely recommend! Also, they do get very busy on weekends! Get there before 5:30PM to be fed before the rush is there!

Came here a few days ago. My sandwich was actually delicious and the girl who waited on my family and I was a real gem. She provided the best service I’ve experienced in a long time. This coupled with good food means I’d definitely come back here.

I haven’t been to Chilli’s in a couple of years and after last night I remembered why… The service was s… o…s…l…o…w! Our server was very pleasant and apologetic for the delay in receiving our dinner. After almost an hour, we had to complain to the manager. Funny thing, our food came out very shortly after that. It wasn’t very good, over cooked and dry. We won’t be back.

I can add my displeasure to most of the reviews this place has had over the last year. Slow service, we sat near the kitchen and could watch & hear the staff goofing around while orders sat on the counter waiting to go out. A few months back we came in at just before 4& the host told us we were in time for the lunch special. The waiter showed up later & said the host was wrong because it was now after 4. We explained that we were seated @ 3:55 and had been sitting for about 8 minutes now. He said he was going to talk to the host & never came back. After 10 minutes we walked out. We will not be going back to this place again.

The sad thing about my visit was that the good was really good. I had the prime rib… cooked exactly right and so good. But the service was none existent. Waiter seldom showed himself. Never refilled my iced tea. I only got service because I asked the person seating other customers. Food great, service bad, customer gone into other restaurant choices.
