Ringling Pizza & Grill

Ordered 1 pizza and 16 boneless wings, it took 2 hours to get here and when it finally arrived it was cold and the grease from both the pizza and wings had soaked through the boxes. It was not good and I would not recommend delivery.

Wasn’t able to even try the food. The place smelled like raw sewage. We walked into a wall of putrid stink like you’d find in a latrine. My daughter was gagging and despite being recommended to come to this place, we won’t be back. Admittedly the hostess knew about the situation but nothing had been done about it. Hate that a review ends up not being centered on the food, but the wretched smell kind of makes you wonder about the environment within which the food is prepared.

A very good deal
I stopped in for lunch today, looking forward to some pizza. My server told me about a 2 slices and a drink lunch special for $ 5.75 that I got and it was a very good deal. The deal offers one topping slices but also allowed for more toppings for an upcharge. I decided on both pepperoni and sausage.
The slices were square with two sides being crust, which held the pizza slice together well. Tasted fine, the visit was relatively quick, and I was glad I stopped by.
They also offer sandwiches and seemed to do a good takeout business. The dining room included a bar and pool table, so there may be a change of atmosphere as it gets later at night. I’ve only stopped in for lunch so I really don’t know.

I’ll still give it a 2 star review. That’s only for the quality of the pizza. The pizza is good. Again, I had a pie delivered to a location very close by. The delivery person was a middle-​aged female with longish brown hair (different person than last time). Again, same garbage attitude/​service from the delivery person. The pie and delivery comes to $ 13. I asked for $ 6 back out of a $ 20 (which gives a buck tip on top of the delivery fee that the driver gets). She gave a nasty attitude, no eye contact and no smile. Actually, she didn’t even say a word (much less a «thank you» for keeping her employed).
The manager needs to address this. I might get pizza there in the future, but I’ll pick it up. Forget the delivery drivers. Management needs to speak to get them tightened up.
Also, Ringling is by far the only pizza joint in town and the management there needs to realize this. Valentino’s, Solorzano’s and even 5 Star & Rico’s will be getting some more business in the future.

Tasty huge chicken wings, penned was sauce deficient. Burger and fries were cold. Delivery was to be within an hour but was actually 2 hours. Wouldn’t have minded if we were told it would take that long. Delivery person was pleasant enough.

Ordered 4 pizzas delivered for a get together. They told me they would be delivered within 40 minutes and they were just on time! I like that! The pizzas were very good! the crust was not too thin and the sauce was good. The vegetable pizza was delicious! The portions were just right… I will order from them again and I recommend them!

I have had Ringling pizza many times and loved it, but have never personally ordered it before tonight. I ordered at around 6:45 and am still waiting, and it’s after 8. I ordered a single pizza, one of their specials, and I can’t imagine what would take it an hour and a half. I called and the hostess simply said ‘it’s on its way’. I could be done eating by now if I had ordered from somewhere else. I live in a pretty simple location– we get pizza delivered here all the time. I guess it’s time to go back to one of the other places for delivery. Love when they have their pizza at Growler’s trivia though!

Greasy salty crust decent sauce but used to love this place because neighborhood place run by locals. Been taken over by two extremely rude people will never go there again. Has turned into a family friendly place to a dive with staff that are unspeakably rude. Having worked in restaurants my entire life with family members in the business all I can say is avoid this place.

My chicken caesar wrap was delicious! On the other hand, my french fries were not! The grease needs to be changed out or something.

Fast and friendly service. Clean, big selection & great price. Can’t go wrong with a slice of cheese!

Very good philly cheese steak. The chicken cheese steak is also worth trying. I have ordered both of these sandwhiches on several different occassions and it has been consistently delicious no matter which cook is making it.

The food was great and the portions are very big for what you pay for. However for 3 people to eat lunch it took well over an hour. We arrived and ordered before anyone else came in for the lunch rush and we were waiting close to half an hour for our food. Only one employee was working which isn’t a good business practice for lunchtime. I would come back again but only if I have time to kill or if they hire another waitress.

we have tried many places in Sarasota and Ringling has the best pizza, cheesesteaks and broccoli bites around. i don’t even think anyone else makes broccoli bites around here and if you are from philly, and try these, you will be pleasantly surprised!

Before I tell my story, the pizza was decent, I was but not blown away. However, the «manager/​owner (?)» needs to rethink how he treats his employees and customers. I went with my friend to pick up $ 40 worth of pizza. She paid over the phone, so when we arrived, we just had to pick it up and go. The pizza was ready and waiting when we got there, but the manager/​owner behind the counter couldn’t seem to find the paid receipt and started to flip out. He got really flustered and called for the employee who took my friend’s order over the phone. My friend tried to help asking the manager/​owner if he wanted to show her proof of payment, but he ignored her and yelled at his staff. He finally found the receipt of payment and we took the pizza and walked out. There was no thank you or acknowledgement for spending money and tipping at his business. I understand that people have bad days, but the whole ordeal was awkward and incredibly rude. I can only hope that the employees working there find another job where they are treated with respect. No one should have to put up with being yelled at in front of customers.

Pizza didn’t have any flavor! We ordered the taco pizza, the white pizza, and wings. The wings were meaty, but not spicy hot. The pizzas were bland, the dough and sauce had no flavor.
The positive thought was they both had plenty of cheese! And the deliver person was cheerful and on time! We definitely want to try another pizza joint in Sarasota.

Great pizza and even better Philly Cheese Steak!

I rarely complain but I have to in this situation… I would like it to be passed along to the manager. But I can’t figure out how to get a hold of them, no email, and no one checks their FB fan page.
I called today, and a young girl named Tatiana answered the phone. I asked if it would be possible if the ‘chicken broccoli Alfredo’ could be made into a ‘shrimp and mushroom Alfredo.’ She told me that it wasn’t possible «because all of the shrimp that Ringling pizza and grill has to offer is frozen fried shrimp and it would not taste very good.» I asked if it would be possible if I just had the ‘bang bang shrimp appetizer,’ and a ‘side’ of Alfredo pasta and sauté mushrooms.
She totaled the order to about $ 24 charging me for the full ‘chicken Alfredo’ and the ‘bang bang shrimp appetizer.’ I asked if it could be possible to just get a side of mushroom pasta instead of being charged the full order with the chicken considering the order that I was looking for, for lunch at 1pm. She told me «it couldn’t be done.» After that I asked if I could speak to a manager which got her very upset, telling me that I needed to «calm down» and that she would try to figure it out, I figured a manager would know better the cost for a side of pasta. I wasn’t sure why I was being told to calm down because I hadn’t lost my temper whatsoever. I asked a second time if I could please speak to a manager which she told me «a manager isn’t available to speak with no one’s here for you to talk to,» again saying «calm down I’m figuring it out.»
I’m sure they could of made the order happen for around $ 15, but after that I canceled my order, and got off the phone. Her attitude she had the whole conversation turned me off so much. I was shocked at the lack of customer service she showed me. She sounded flustered and too busy to talk to me, upset that I was asking for a unique order. I feared she would spit in my food!!! Lost me as a regular costumer.

I will never eat here purely based on the fact that they’ve put glossy menus on my car while I’m at work. The menu sits on my windshield in the hot sun the whole day and sticks to the glass — making it nearly impossible to get off. They may have decent pizza, but they have terrible marketing.

Thin Crust pizza. Really good!
Ordered for delivery two pizzas, hawaiian and white broccoli. Both were really good, right amount of toppings, delivered fresh (didn’t seem like it was sitting around a while). And the crust was perfect, thin crust, little crunchy on the bottom, NY Style. If you like NY Style pizza, check this place out.
