Sarasota Yacht Club

My wife and I enjoyed reciprocal privileges while vacationing here. The facilities and amenities are fantastic, the food is excellent, and the staff provides five-​star service, especially the concierge, Suzi!
If you live locally, and enjoy boating, you should definitely consider membership… we would!

One of the BEST yacht clubs in this country!
Its across from Bird Key. It’s members only but if you are lucky enough to know someone who is — it’s worth the visit. SYC has several restaurants and bars, swimming pool and of course docks full of boats. There are free kayaks for members and fire places on the green.
Everything was very clean and has a lovely gift shop too. By the way the food and beverages were high quality too.

The view is one of the better views in Sarasota. Membership is reasonable and the people are great. The food is fresh and good. I chose some appetizers and was very satisfied. The chef will cook to order.

The Sarasota Yacht Club was the perfect setting for our wedding on October 8^th, 2011. The newly designed club is such a beautiful nautical place. Modern meets old details so beautifully in this club. The views, the lobby, the deck area, and the comfort of the large club made our wedding spectacular.
Karen Roman, director of events at the club, is amazing. Her even-​keeled and detail orientated nature made planning a wedding a breeze. She coordinated well with my wedding coordinator, Keren Lifrak. Between the two of them every detail was perfect.
The food was spectacular! My parents are members of the club so I have dined there often, but having great food on your wedding day seems to be quite a feat and the SYC did it! The service throughout the night was spectacular, always a refill and someone near to help out.
We highly recommend the SYC for a wedding, event, or even a lunch date.
