Tom recently cleaned the carpets in a house we had just purchased. The carpets may have been clean when he first finished them, but they weren’t clean by the time he left. He insisted on filling my house with giant dryers when he finished cleaning, and his dryers were filthy and spewed dark dirt/​lint/​dust onto the freshly cleaned carpets. When I asked him to please take the dryers with him when he left (since the house was newly purchased it was still being painted and such and the enormous dryers completely blocked the hallways), Tom actually began yelling at me, insulting me, and threatening me. I have never ever been treated so poorly by anyone I had hired! So if you want to hire a scary bully to clean your carpets, then Tom is your man!
If you are wondering how the person I’m describing has received five stars from Unilocal,it is because he has any negative reviews removed, including my earlier review!

I have had Tom of On the Spot Carpet Cleaning clean our house carpet more than once, the first time about 4 years ago, and just this month again. (We don’t clean our carpet that often, and Tom is the only one we have used for our home). He is a totally trustworthy and hard working guy. We have serious dog dirt on our white carpet, and Tom gets the dirt out using all the tricks from his experience, so our carpet comes out looking great. He moves the furniture around and gets to all the nooks and corners. He doesn’t use any harsh chemicals and the house smells clean afterwards. He cares about the environment uses hot water from his van (and nothing from your home).
He is a very personable guy and really easy to work with. Above all, I trust him to do a great job and comfortable he is the one going through all the rooms in our home! Bottom line, Tom really gets the job done and he is the one I recommend to my neighbors and friends.

Toni is am absolute gem. He came to our little studio and cleaned our filthy carpet to perfection. After he was done the carpet looked like it was brand new and smelled wonderful. Tom Rossi is TOP NOTCH. He came to clean the carpet in a rental home I was about to move into. I was convinced that I was going to be disappointed by the results because the carpet was pretty much a lost cause. Just trashed, stained, saggy… a mess. He did an INCREDIBLE job! I was absolutely blown away. Also, no horrid chemical smell. He knew I had kids and dogs and needed something non toxic. Not only that, he was prompt, efficient, detail oriented and a pleasure to have around. A complete professional. I will absolutely use him again and recommend him to everyone I know.

I had been looking at replacing my carpet because of how badly the pet stains and general dirt trail was through the room, but decided it was worth a try to see if I could buy some time before I went through the cost/​trouble of replacing the carpet. Tom came out first thing in the morning to accommodate my schedule. That alone was awesome. When he arrived I explained that I realized the rug was a mess and that I didn’t expect him to get out everything. Tom was skeptical of my comments and upon finishing the work, my rug looks BRAND NEW, no joke. That machine has some power and I am STOKED on the job he did. A very friendly, and dog friendly, guy! Nice guy, he used chemical free hot water to treat my carpets. They looked great and dried quickly, which I loved because I walk around barefoot or in socks.

My house mates and I live in a town house with cream colored carpet. We tried to clean it our selves, but the carpet cleaner we rented did not do the job. This resulted in our carpet becoming more and more dirty to the point we had black spots. We found Tom on here and decided to call him– So glad we did. He started to clean and what was once black was now back to cream. Our carpet looked brand new. He was also reasonably priced and very wonderful to work with. I highly recommend On the Spot.

Tom was great! I had my town house carpets cleaned last week and I am thrilled with the job he did. They are a very light off-​white color carpets and he was able to lift grime to reveal their true color. I asked about some rugs at the last minute and he was happy to help with those too. all of the carpets and rugs look and feel great and dried so quickly!!! Thanks Tom!

Tom, of On the Spot Carpet Cleaning does an amazing job cleaning carpets. We had some serious stains from doing some remodel work (glue from wallpaper — yuck!), and he was able to get them out. He also is able to move all the furniture and get under everything! He was fast, thorough and CLEAN! The carpets also dried quickly, and there was no chemical smell afterward. I will definitely use Tom again, and will be calling him soon!

We just bought home and the carpet though in pretty good shape was very filthy and full of stains. It was also buckling up in a lot of places and badly needed restretching. I couldn’t find any carpet cleaners who would clean and restretch my carpet. Tom gave me a very reasonable quote for both. He worked on our carpet all day yesterday and when we came home our jaws dropped. Not only was the carpet perfectly clean and and stain-​free but the lay of the carpet he left was this beautiful and ornate diamond-​shaped pattern. Very impressive. We did find a few bleached spots left by the previous owners but those can’t be helped. Tom was easy to work with, straight forward, and we are pleased with his work.
