Mr. Bycer holds degrees in physics and business-​economics from Brown University. Before law, Mr. Bycer was a technical consultant for Accenture, where he worked on large software installation projects, working with ERP solutions such as SAP and Oracle for large corporate clients such as GE, Boston Scientific and EMC2. In pursuit of patent law, Mr. Bycer returned to Arizona to earn a joint JD/​MBA from the University of Arizona, where he worked in the physical sciences department of the UA Office of Technology Transfer. In addition, Mr. Bycer spent time as an extern in the chambers of Chief Judge Stephen M.
