Service Organic – Organic Environmental Services

I was extremely happy with the results of my carpet. Organic Environmental Services did an outstanding job and went out of their way to accommodate my schedule. They were friendly, efficient and priced very fairly. I highly recommend Organic Environmental Services for anyone looking to get their carpets cleaned.

This review is a long time coming! I had purchased a group buying deal and approached Service Organic about using it at the business with which I work. They indicated that would not be a problem. The business works with children daily so avoiding harsh chemicals was a must. I was so impressed by the quality of work the two service men put in. They stayed extra hours, tried several different techniques, and over all took pride in their work! It was the cleanest we had seen our tile and grout since it was laid. Service Organic went above and beyond! I have stayed in contact with the owner since our first experience to discuss cleaning other spaces within the business. I am constantly impressed by his consideration and attention to the safety of the children who attend the business when discussing cleaning options. A great business run by an owner with a high level of integrity!

The owners of this company are wonderful folks that did great work for me! I’m thrilled with Service Organic. I won’t use anyone else!

I also purchased the Living Social carpet cleaning special. I had a little bit of a hard time contacting the company, as their voicemail box was full the first couple of times I called. I did get through the next day and left a message. Jeff called me back within an hour, and we had an indepth conversation about my preferences. I also let him know I had a couple of trouble spots, and he told me exactly how they would handle those. I made an appointment for 9am on Saturday morning.
The phone rang at 9:03 and it was Daniel leaving me a voicemail that they were running late because Loop 101 was closed on the northside. Daniel and TJ arrived at 9:50. They came in the house, looked over the carpet, discussed my concers, and placed corner guards where needed.
Although I had vacuumed before they arrived, they vacuumed the carpet again. Then they pretreated all the heavy traffice areas. They put a lot of muscle and energy into thoroughly cleaning my carpet. This was the cleanest any company has ever gotten my carpet. They worked hard to get out the stains, and even harder making sure they pulled the most water (steam) as possible back out of the carpet, which dried much quicker than expected.
Both of the men were personable and seemed to have pride in the job they were doing. They made sure I was pleased with the outcome, and didn’t mind going over any spots I questioned for a second time. At no time did they try to upsell me anything. The price I paid included all services — there was no extra charge for anything.
Though we had a little bit of a rough start (took me a day to reach them, and they arrived almost an hour late), they did a terrific job, and I will use only Service Organic in the future! Thanks Daniel and TJ!

I was excited about the special from Living Social. $ 75 for carpet cleaning in three rooms. Called to make the appointment, took the day off of work, moved all the furniture. .. and here I sit, waiting.
At the time I am writing this they are 90 minutes late. No call, no show. I have left a voice mail. Hopefully I can update this review with a happy ending.
Starting to get hungry and can’t go anywhere while I wait for them to show. Anyone want to bring me food?
Update (a few days later): Sadly, I do not have good news. I received a very short email from the company acknowledging my situation and never heard from them again. The only good news is that when I explained the situation to Living Social they refunded my $ 75. And we spent the weekend cleaning our carpets ourselves. Sigh…
Update 12÷14÷11: The owner has contacted me multiple times to offer opportunities to improve my opinion and provide the service that I did not receive the first time around. While I appreciate the offer (+1 star), I have found a different company that I have decided to give my carpet cleaning business to and seeing as how I only need my carpets cleaned (professionally) about once a year, there is not much opportunity to shop around. It sounds like the owners have taken an interest in making sure the customer service is better than it was in the beginning. I hope they can get enough good Unilocal reviews to outweigh my bad experience.
