History

Established in 2013.

For 20 years, the sports bar and restaurant Glory Days has been practically a community center in the city of Lakewood. Through its incarnations at various locations — all of them within a schooner’s toss of one another on Woodruff Avenue just north of Carson Street — it has been a place for civic meetings, softball and Little League post-​game dinners, church and school fundraisers, birthday parties and baby showers.

Add to that a slate of great bar food, including a killer burger, and a raucous crowd of loyal regulars, and you’ve got a formula for a place that can’t lose in the budget-​minded, family-​fun-​oriented town of Lakewood.

Can the same formula fly in the younger, tonier and less sportscentric town of Seal Beach?
