Courtney has been doing forever! She is the best and always makes my hair look perfect, the whole salon staff is wonderful! Definitely recommend this place and Courtney!

I love this salon! Krista knows how to make my hair look amazing every time– she does my all-​over color, roots, balayage, Brazilian blowouts, styling, etc. Everyone who works here is SO nice and it’s truly a pleasure coming here. I don’t go anywhere else!

This salon is everything! It’s been under new ownership from what I hear (Irma) & she has done such an amazing job at making the place look gorgeous. It’s definitely a beautiful setting. I have been getting my hair done by Courtney for about a year now. She totally saved my hair from a bad highlight job! She’s a great listener and definitely gives «Ritz Carlton» service. I recommend her !

I’ve been going to Courtney for a while now and never has anyone been more talented with taming my crazy mane. Color, cuts, hiding my Sephardic sideburns– Courtney really does an incredible job. I could talk all day about her color, but I want to mention that she does extensions as well. She did them for my wedding and beaded them in. They looked fantastic. I decided to keep them an additional 6 months. (as her instructions i took incredible care of them) The best part about having these extensions is that she dyed my hair to match them so that there was no questions whether or not it was my hair. I never received so many compliments in my entire life. I felt like a legitimate celebrity. She made a lifer client out of me. Also i send my husband to her as well and just text her the photos of whatever celebrity haircut i’d like him to have that month. It’s been a pleasant three months of Channing Tatum’s cut on my man.

So grateful that I found the fabulous Ms Courtney Collins! I adore this beautiful Salon as well. top notch. I am a blonde… platinum blonde. This is not an easy color to maintain. My natural color is medium brown. I recently moved to Newport Beach and take my hair, and who works on my hair, very seriously. I was referred to Courtney by a co-​worker of mine who has beautiful blonde locks and I feel extremely confident as I drive past at least 30 salons on my way to Courtney at Salon Meritage, that I have THE best stylist around! I have zero yellow brassy hair, and just beautiful AND healthy (she takes hair health seriously!) Platinum blonde hair! Her knowledge is impressive and her technique and attention to detail are off the charts to top all of this expertise off, Courtney is the sweetest, most personable person, let alone hair stylist! I look forward to my appointments not just to get blondified but also to catch up with her! I highly recommend ANY blonde to reach out to Courtney ASAP and anyone with various hair colors as well. Referred to this studio by a good friend, and immediately fell in love. It is bright, airy, and relaxing. I highly recommend Courtney Collins — no one else is allowed to touch my hair as long as I remain in Southern California. She does incredible cut, color, and styling (aka basically a hair genie). HIGHLY recommend.

Let me first say that I’m picky when it comes to my hair.
Living in OC for the last 5 years, it shouldn’t have been an issue. Still, I found it difficult to find someone to give me that perfect shade of blonde at a decent price. I also had long hair at the time, and no one seemed to want it to stay that way.
Layers? No.
$ 250 highlights? No.

Several salons and hundreds of dollars later, I still remained unhappy.
Fast forward to 2011, when I was introduced to Lisa by a friend. She was working at another salon at the time. From the first appointment, I knew I had struck gold. She made me feel at ease immediately not because she was friendly and warm — which she was — but because she asked the right questions. I told her my concerns about color and length and she really seemed to understand. I told her what I wanted and what I didn’t want, and she nailed it!
When she moved to Meritage Salon, I followed her without question. No way I was giving a gem like her up! When I added side-​swept bangs to my style, she carefully snipped away. After looking at them for a day or so, I decided I wanted blunt bangs instead. I contacted her, asking if we could change them and what do you know! she
came in on her day off just to make them the way I wanted. Lisa always makes the extra effort to be sure that I’m happy.

I was in this salon for the first time in October when I was there for a family wedding and had my hair done by Briana. I was a little apprehensive going into a salon I wasn’t familiar with for a foil and cut, but heard good things about this place so I gave it a shot. I couldn’t have been happier with my hair. Briana listened to me when I explained what my expectations, she made a couple great suggestions, and I’m happy to say I got exactly what I asked for. The shop is very nice (I love Seal Beach) and all the employees there were very nice and friendly. I’d recommend Salon Meritage anytime, would go back without reservation, and highly recommend Briana.

I’m from Nogales, Arizona and I came all the way to Salon Meritage in Seal Beach to get a facial from Chizuko and my haircut from Irma! Well worth the trip! What a beautiful salon I love it!

Love this salon! Very warm and friendly place. Great stylists. Carla does a fabulous job on my hair color and cuts. (I get lots of complements) Highly recommend.

I went here today and booked a haircut with Lisa S. after ready other positive reviews about her, and the salon. I loved the salon, felt incredibly relaxed, and catered to. Lisa was extremely attentive, and listened to my needs. She gave me a great cut, and I couldn’t be more pleased. She also was very friendly… felt like I knew her for years. After three years of searching, I know I have finally found my stylist!

I haven’t had a facial for a while, so I scheduled a glo flower enzyme facial with Chizuko — the Salon Meritage esthetician. It was an excellent experience and probably the best facial I ever had! Chizuko combines facial and massage techniques and I had a hard time staying awake, it was so relaxing. The facial room is beautiful and very clean — in fact the entire salon is beautiful. I will be returning, and I strongly recommend Chizuko and Salon Meritage to anyone who likes quality facials in a serene, beautiful setting.

Wow, the service here is so good! I came here for the first time three weeks ago for a haircut and face treatment. Service was top notch. I returned today for a trim and I“m scheduled for another face treatment next week.
The people here are so nice and make you feel very welcomed. The girl at the front is always nice and accommodating. The owner Irma cuts my hair and does a really good job. So stoked I found this place.

I came here for the first time today because I follow my hair stylist that has been doing my hair for years, and she just got a chair here. The salon is tucked away in a nice strip mall in downtown Seal Beach off of PCH not too far from Huntington or Westminster. It just reopened a few months after being totally remodeled and is so beautifully decorated in a chic style. Everything is nice and new! You can tell that the owners and stylists really take pride in their work. They also do facials, manicures, and eyebrows here. I recommend Lisa S if you’re looking for a stylist. She does great with long hair and has done blonde, full highlights, dark hair, all on my hair and I am happy every time!

I was visiting Seal Beach (I’m from CA and now live in MN) and forgot my face cleanser! My Aunt suggested I pop into Salon Meritage to ask their esthetician if they could suggest something. Well, I was the luckiest girl in the world! The esthetician (I wish I could remember her name) just happened to have plenty of time for me and she pointed out the best cleanser for it. Then she offered to give me a tour of the esthecitians room because they had done a complete remodel. Of course after seeing the room and the table I just couldn’t help but make an appointment for a facial. She had mentioned that I needed some exfoliation, but at that time I had a spray tan I didn’t want to mess with, so we made the appointment for 5 days later. She also gave me some moisturizer to use while I was in town because I told her I didn’t have any.
I let her choose what type of facial I needed because there were 2 types that might have worked out well. She did the Flower Enzyme facial and it felt wonderful! Not the enzyme part of course, that never feels the best, but it only lasts 5 minutes. The rest of it was so relaxing… even during the few extractions she did! Also, instead of leaving me when the product needed to sit for a bit like I’ve had done in the past, she gave me a shoulder and back massage! To top it off, because she knew I was going to dinner, she did a little complimentary mineral make-​up so I didn’t leave looking red.
I also let her wax my eyebrows which says a lot, because I just don’t trust my eyebrows to many people. She walked me through exactly how much and where she would be waxing before she did it and went above and beyond to make sure I was OK with the amount she was waxing. I think she was a little excited to be able to do it because I’m practically a blank canvas for eyebrow shaping. In the end, she shaped them beautifully and I’ve received a lot of complements on them!
Bottom Line: The employees are friendly and helpful and you get above and beyond what you pay for. I wish I lived there so I could go back more often. Especially because she suggested I get a glycolic facial next time!
