Description

Specialties

We offer drop-off catering (hot or cold) for casual and festive events. Perfect for Office Parties, Birthdays, Family Reunions, Bridal Showers, and DIY Weddings. We will deliver delicious food ready-to-serve on attractive disposable trays with serving utensils, and you do the rest. Cold food is served on black plastic trays and hot food is served in «catering crates» that will hold your food at temperature for up to 3 hours before taking off the lids. If you need it, we can also provide plates, glasses, napkins, and more. This is a perfect low-cost way to have professionally catered cuisine without the expense of service staff and fancy rentals. Easy and inexpensive. We do the cooking, so you can be the host. (Please allow 5 days notice for all orders. Subject to availability.)

History

Established in 1999.

After starting A Grand Affaire Catering, a full-service on-site and off-site catering business, in 1998 we quickly noticed that some people didn’t need the whole catering package. Some people were just looking for professionally catered quality food for their events at a great price, but didn’t need on-site staff and coordination. From this need came AGA Express Catering, our answer to our clients’ needs for drop-off catering. Owner, Monica Newby, still owns and operates both divisions of catering and takes a personal role in each and every event to ensure it’s success for you.

Meet the Business Owner

Monica N.

Business Owner

Monica Newby has worked in the hospitality industry since the mid 1980’s; from restaurants, to hotels, to banquet hall managment, to event planning and off premise catering. In the 1990’s she worked in the Financial Services industry as a registered stock broker’s assistant and Certified Financial Planner, but her passion for hospitality never subsided. She hosted so many personal parties that all of her friends called her «The Party Girl.» So she decided to make her passion her career and started A Grand Affaire Catering in 1998, and soon thereafter began the division AGA Express Catering. Now with more than 13 years in business Monica still helps people with all types of budgets and tastes create Grand Affaires.
