Annie Sohn, DDS, PS

Absolutely wonderful dentist and team. Everyone is so nice. She answered all of my questions in great detail, even questions that i felt were «silly» or really basic. She, too, asked about specifics of my anxiety and PTSD, but did not do so in a patronizing or inappropriate way as was the case with previous dentist. They just genuinely seem to want you to have a good time (well, as good of a time one can have at the dentist anyways).
Despite me sniffling and being a huge baby I was treated with respect. I got a treatment plan within 30 – 45 minutes and left feeling informed and confident. One of the assistants even walked with me to the Endo/​specialist in the same building and helped me make an appointment there; since I was feeling super anxious and awkward, it was extremely helpful for me at the time. Also… they gave me a free electric toothbrush and a goodie bag. nice. (I promise this isn’t a pediatric dentist lol. But I’m sure they could handle kids if they were. who doesn’t love a goodie bag?!)

I never felt so strongly about a dentist, but after my first visit here, I’ve been recommending Dr. Sohn to everyone I know.
The staff is incredibly friendly, supportive, and easily made me feel comfortable even though I hadn’t been to any dentist in years! Dr. Sohn is obviously very knowledgeable, informative, and doesn’t try to keep what’s going on in my mouth a secret like some dentists tend to do.

Dr. Sohn is super nice, communicates clearly, and is efficient. I went to her after avoiding the dentist for a couple years; quickly recommended and implemented a great treatment plan.

Doctor Sohn is probably one of the best doctor I have ever had! A very good friend of mine recommended me to go to her office in order to fix the many cavities I had and order an Invisalign brace. Since the first appointment I was surprised on how nice and throughly she was in her explanations and methodology; therefore, not surprised why she was first of her in class in UW Dentistry School! She always personally called me back after an appointment just to check on me, and this is not taken for granted by other doctors. Her staff office is nice and available as well for anything you might need. Last thing I liked the most is that she loves teaching! The couple times I have been there, there was always a different, not sure about the word, «advanced/​skilled assistant» that was been taught about my procedures. If you need a great Doctor, Dr. Sohn is probably what you’ll need and you’ll have no regrets!

Dr. Sohn and team are top notch! They are friendly, responsive and very knowledgeable about Dentistry. I’ve had several different procedures done from basic cleaning to crown replacements and I’ve always been comfortable and at ease during my visits. Dr. Sohn works efficiently and and knows what she’s doing, she’s often predicted correctly what will happen with my teeth in the near-​future and sure enough, she’s right. She also uses some of the latest technology while still keeping fees reasonable. During my last visit, part of my tooth next to the one being worked on actually started to crumble and Dr. Sohn was able to fix it in the same visit, in spite of already having a full schedule. If you are looking for the highest quality, efficient, friendly Dentist in a downtown location, I highly recommend Smile Esthetic. The office is comfortable, the team is fantastic and my teeth are happy.

This was honestly the best experience I have EVER had with a Dentist. Annie is efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. I had a great experience during both my visits. Her assistants are also extremely nice and happy which means they must love working with Annie. A happy team is a good sign for me.(it means they are treated well) She taught me things about oral hygiene in a way I could understand. After my first visit she gave me a gift bag and her personal information if I ever encounter an emergency. She truly cares about her patients and wants everyone who walks into her office to have a good experience. She is also ALWAYS on time. Which is a huge bonus if you have to leave work for your appointment. I do plan to recommend her to all my close friends and family. Lastly, I just had some serious work done 3 fillings in two hours and she was mindful of me and talked me through the whole process. It was an amazing experience. Thank you Annie! You ROCK!

Dr. Sohn is super friendly and awesome. She is also very clear when explaining the health of your teeth. The staff are really nice as well. I highly recommend visiting her!

Dr. Sohn did an amazing job on my fillings! One filling in particular would of been very difficult for any dentist but Dr. Sohn and her team fix it for me with ease. I am very thankful that I found a dentist and staff that are knowledgable and excellent at what they do, extreme kind hearted and that generally care about my oral health.

Annie is a wonderful dentist, kind, highly skilled, entertaining, and best of all — her anesthetic shots don’t hurt! She is just amazing.

This is my second Unilocal review ever after using Unilocal for so many years.
Amazing doctor and amazing dentistry. It begins with me visiting another dentistry on Denny way to see what was causing my migraine for a long time. That dentist told me in a rush that it’s due to a big filling in one tooth I did 10+ years ago and asked me to see a specialist for root canal.
I wanted a second opinion since the tooth pain and migraine were literally killing me back then, and I was referred by a good friend to Dr Sohn. Couldn’t be happier. Dr Sohn did thorough check and diagnosed that it wasn’t that tooth at all, but a hidden rotten wisdom tooth behind it, it was too rotten and badly infected. I made appointment with Dr Sohn to pull that out, and Dr Sohn and her team did such amazing job, I didn’t feel it’s a long procedure at all and healed really fast afterwards. And pulling out that rotten wisdom tooth definitely solved the problem and also fixed the migraine too. I’m extremely happy that I made the decision and saw Dr Sohn.
I feel always treated as friend/​family with Dr Sohn’s dentistry and really being taken care of. Can’t say enough good things about it and I would definitely recommend it to all my close friends.

Dr. Sohn is an amazing professional. She has worked w/​me from the start and has amended her protocols to make my visits more and more comfortable. I have very sensitive teeth and receded gums, so cleanings are a challenge. She has calibrated the numbing solution and I don’t even feel these injections! Thus my needed frequent cleanings are accomplished pleasantly. How many patients can say that about their dentist!!!
She has an inspiring attitude about her work and her support staff. She is a collaborator and a relentless learner, constantly updating her knowledge and techniques. I am a fan for life :)

I have been going to Dr Annie for a few years and I definitely recommend her. More than any other dentist, she has helped me improve how I take care of my teeth. And I think visits to her office are as enjoyable as a dentist visit can be.

Dr. Sohn has been amazing. From the care she takes with our 1 year old baby, the basic services she provides my wife, to the more complex work she has been helping me navigate my way through. Today she put a temporary crown on, in anticipation of work to come, that was flawless! It looks better than the old crown and my entire family was extremely impressed. She makes us all feel at ease every time we walk into her office. I highly recommend her to anybody looking for a new dentist!

I have visited Dr. Annie several times, she very thorough and detailed both in her work and in explaining everything she is doing. After every appointment without fail I have received a call from Dr. Sohn personally following up to see how I’m feeling and whatnot. I highly recommend her, her office also goes above and beyond in working out payment plans (Care Credit) to help patients that might not be covered with dental insurance.

Very cozy dental office offering great service! had a dental emergency over the weekend and Dr. Sohn got me in to fix it — minimal pain with injections and entire procedure. Veneer fixed and emergency resolved!

Annie Sohn has a lovely practice in the Medical Dental building down town. I usually do not like going to the dentist but she literally made it a pleasant experience. I am so happy to have found this gem of a dentist in Seattle! She was professional and warm– as was her entire staff. I would highly recommend her!!! (your teeth will thank you!)
