Hallmarks of the Activator technique are patient comfort and adjustment specificity. Dr. Clausen has attained advanced proficiency status in the richly-​researched Activator Method of adjusting. Dr. Clausen maintains yearly re-​certification in Activator.

Proven and reliable rehabilitation exercises are introduced to every patient to promote complete healing and prevent relapses.

History

Established in 2005.

Clausen Chiropractic is an Activator-​based health care service. Clausen Chiropractic was founded as a corporation by its owner and developer, Dr. Stephen G Clausen. Without the tireless encouragement of Susette Clausen, spouse, the idea might have not been realized.

Activator was originally developed in SW Minnesota, in the town of Redwood Falls-​which, coincidentally is the birthplace of Stephen Clausen, DC. This business formation and its location (now in the Saturn Building in Fremont) were destined to become reality and Seattle and its people will be healthier for it.

Dr. Clausen earned his Bachelor and Master Degrees at Central Washington University. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Cleveland Chiropractic College after passing National Board Exams 1 – 4 and attaining licensure in both Kansas and Washington states.

Dr. Clausen and his wife, Susette, live in Ballard.
