AMAZING! This is definitely the best place in town. Amazing staff with outstanding customer service. If you are looking for a new chiropractor, Dr. Hansen is, by far, the best in town.

I highly recommend Fremont Spine and Wellness. I suffered from severe back and neck pain, and while I had gotten adjusted by other chiropractors in the past, the results were always temporary. I appreciate the comprehensive treatment plan at Fremont Spine and Wellness — with exercises I can do at home and adjustments in office, my pain is gone. As an unbelievable bonus, I was able to bring my kids to the appointments, thanks to the very child-​friendly atmosphere.

For the past few years, I’ve suffered through lower back pain and stiffness. While I had learned to «just deal with it,» there were some days, weeks even, that were debilitating. As a certified desk jockey who tried to stay moving playing volleyball, my pain had gotten to the point where I know I needed help.
I’d been to several chiropractors over the years, and though a few gave me okay temporary results, none took the time and patience with me to truly pinpoint where my problems lied. On my first visit to Dr. Marnie, however, she took x-​rays and did a simple evaluation. She immediately could tell where I was having pain, just by looking at my body and posture — I didn’t even have to tell her! Her openness and friendliness made it so easy to be honest about what I was going through and where I wanted to be, and we made an intensive plan to help me get there.
Each visit yielded more and more results, and finally I am able to go one day (sometimes two or three!) without any soreness or stiffness. I’m able to run again for more than one-​minute stretches, and am on my way to being as active as I used to be. Though getting adjusted helps, Dr. Marnie also emphasizes a lifestyle overhaul to be on your way to true wellness. It’s not only seeing a chiropractor that will help your ailment, it’s about taking care of yourself physically AND mentally. The supportive team at Fremont Spine & Wellness cheers you on your path to wellness.
Administratively, there is no friendlier receptionist than Sarah. Her warmth immediately greets you as you walk through the door, contributing to the positive environment. They are also very flexible with scheduling!
I highly recommend a visit to Fremont Spine & Wellness. While they do accept a fair amount of insurance companies, double check to see if you’re covered. However, I am paying out-​of-​pocket and believe it’s worth it, given the results.

I had a number of issues with this clinic.
1. I didn’t like the style of treatment at this facility — namely the open chiropractic treatments and the physical therapy machines.
2. In addition to this, the advice I was given at this clinic directly contradicted medical advice I received. I am pregnant and was told by the reception person and the chiropractor that certain physical therapy machines are fine to use. However, after speaking with both my ob and family Dr. I was told that this was incorrect.
3. In addition to both of these things, I was billed for xrays I never received. When I contacted the clinic, I received an e-​mail indicating that the charges were reversed/​not billed, but when I followed up with my insurer this was not the case. Interestingly, if you scroll through the reviews, I am not the only person who encountered this issue.
The staff might be very nice and welcoming, but overall I found this place unprofessional and for the reasons above I will not return.

I tried a number of chiropractors before finding Dr. Marni at Fremont Spine and Wellness. That woman works wonders! Not only is she fixing my neck problems, but my over all body mobility, nerve communication and strength has increased 2 fold. I didn’t realize how compacted my spine and joints had become, but now feel 20 years younger after only two months. I highly recommend starting out with the 3X per week adjustment plan with Dr. Marnie.

I had quite the experience here. I was in extreme amounts of pain the entire time I was going there pretty much. My first appointment the doctor I saw told me if I did the 3 month pan about $ 1500 that after I would be pain free guaranteed. Then he disappeared overnight. I got transferred to a new doctor (Marnie) who was great but I was absolutely not pain free at the end of those three months. To try to make up for the misinformation Marnie did 2 weeks for free for me and gave my new xrays so I could see if there was improvement, which there was! I would say this spot is okay but don’t think you are going to get fixed that quickly or within the 10 – 12 appointments that your insurance provides. After going for 3 months if you’re not «fixed» it’s really a too bad situation and to heal all the way it’s out of pocket. It’s hard to say if it was all worth it to me or not. I had some lifestyle changes that I needed to improve as well and wasn’t the super healthiest person when I went in. I honestly think I may have been better off just doing more exercise or yoga instead but it wasn’t a horrible experience. I tended to enjoy it once I was there and stress about the costs and unreasonable expectations set for me when I wasn’t there which leave me bittersweet still. It’s also not private, just one big room with everyone together so if you want more privatized care this isn’t the spot.
Marnie is awesome though and so is Anna!

I had gone to the doctor because my headaches weren’t going away. She had diagnosed me with chronic tension headaches and prescribed me medication for it. I had asked her for prescription for massage, chiropractic, and physical therapy. She didn’t prescribe me all of the therapies I wanted. I looked at her and asked so is it that you prefer giving your patients medication instead of alternatives to see if that would help? Hence I did not go back to that MD. I went to a different md and she said it was a great idea to try all. I use to get headaches so bad I couldn’t go into work for a week. Fremont Spine and Wellness helped me by having me do physical therapy in the office, at home, and help me get back to where I was suppose to be. I’m a happy camper. Dr Marnie is really good at educating me about my body. Any questions I had she explained it in a way I could understand. In addition, all the staff cares about their patients. They are pretty funny as well. I feel extremely comfortable here. I also play tennis and wanted to get to the point where I can run three miles. I’m happy to say I can run three miles and I’m doing pretty well with tennis. If you had to choose a chiropractic place this would be the place I recommend. I’m glad I learned about chiropractic when I was 16. If I didn’t I would have been taking medication.

I want to start off my saying I don’t usually go to chiropractors. A good friend of mine told me about Fremont Spine & Wellness because he met Marnie at a business group they both attended. My friend and I started a discussion and our conversation went back and forth about how I didn’t really understand chiro care and he challenged me with the old, «how do you know it doesn’t work if you’ve never really tried it» response. It occurred to me he had a point so in order to prove myself right, I decided to go in for an appointment.
I met with Marnie and she took my x-​rays and then we discussed the issues she noticed. As she pointed to the x-​rays and explained what each issue meant to me from a pain and physical standpoint, it was as if someone had given her my very own notes about the chronic condition I have. I was totally intrigued so when she explained her care plan with me, I decided I would give it a try; after all, she was pretty spot-​on with her assessment. As the treatment began, I was still a bit skeptical but I have to admit that after the first couple of weeks, I was literally standing taller and felt a stride in my step. That was enough for me to keep going a bit longer.
In addition to my adjustments, Marnie had suggested I consider a regiment of daily at-​home therapy using a denneroll. So after seeing the results of the first couple of weeks, I took Marnie’s advice and began using the denneroll, which works to return a curvature to the neck (cervical spine). I used my denneroll faithfully for the duration of my treatment, which included spinal adjustments a few times a week.
At this point, I have completed my treatments and am now working on simple maintenance and go in whenever I feel it’s necessary. I want to thank Marnie (Dr. Hansen) for taking the curvature of my neck from 20-​degrees to 41-​degrees! (Those numbers may not sound like much but I promise you, on an X-​ray, they show a significant change). In addition, the chronic pain I used to suffer along my mid back is gone. There are still times when my mid back gets aggravated which is why I have chosen to keep up with my maintenance plan.
Bottom line: Chiropractic therapy DOES WORK. And I could not have found a more personable, warm-​spirited, caring and gentle chiropractor in Marnie Hansen.

I love this place! As soon as I walk in Grace greets me with a smile at the front desk and always very friendly. Then I move to the physical therapy room where Anna, who is just incredibly smart, always knows the right exercises that I need to do but never pushes me beyond my limits. Then I get to see Dr. Marnie who spends a good amount of time with each patient and really listens to what you have to say. She truly cares for your health and only wants the best for you. Her adjustments are amazing and I’ve walked out of the office feeling heavily every time.
I highly recommend Fremont Chiropractic to anyone who is either in pain or just wants to maintain good health. By the way, they also do pregnancy adjustments!

As a Licensed Massage Practitioner I have experienced many forms of alternative medicine and have seen quite a few Chiropractors. I would have to say that Dr. Marnie is the best. Not only is she very skilled in her work, she is approachable, friendly and educates her patients accurately.
I refer my clients to Dr. Marnie and I am confident that she treats them individually and appropriately.
Before starting treatment with Dr. Marnie, I had some relatively negative experiences with Chiropractors and many of my clients report feeling pressured or confused by Chiropractors. This is certainly not the case at Fremont Spine and Wellness. They listen to their patients and don’t pressure you into coming more often than you are able to, while still sticking to an effective treatment plan.

Dr. Hansen is awesome. She is one of those rare chiros who actually want to spend time with you and get to know you. She really gave me the feeling like she was present during my treatment. I have been to a lot of chiropractors before and I would say Marnie is really skilled at adjusting you without any concerns of it being uncomfortable or painful. If you are having issues with pain, go see her asap!

Being my first time to go to a Chiropractor, I was skeptical & nervous. But from the very start, Dr Marnie was very attentive and informative. I felt safe and educated as to what chiropractic services do and what I should expect. Still a little nervous and skeptical, I continued treatment for several weeks. Without any other medical treatment, the pain in my lower back subsided substantially. From my experience with Dr Marnie and the chiropractic services I received, this definitely made an improvement in my health and healing my lower back pain.

It all started when I wanted to get a massage at Thrive Healing Massage. They referred me to this place and I’m thankful for them! My first visit was the longest visit because I had to fill out some paper work and they got to do some x-​rays for my back. Now I go there twice a week to get the adjustment. Dr. Marnie is the AWESOMEST Chiropractor I have ever had! She really takes care of her patients and she is a fun person to meet. I totally recommend this place if you have some back issues! Dr. Marnie will help you overcoming those issues :)

I have had bad experiences with chiropractors in the past who don’t listen to me or validate what I am experiencing in my body, but not here. Dr. Marnie is caring, compassionate, knowledgeable and kind. She listens to me and changes her protocol based on my feedback. I have sent my own cherished clients here (I am a bodyworker with a very busy practice working with people in pain and am super selective about my referral network). Everyone has come back raving.
I am especially happy that Dr. Marnie does regular assessments to see how you’ve progressed and actually changes or reduces your weekly visits based on her findings. I have been to many chiropractors who never reassess or who assume you will come in three times a week for life. That isn’t the case at Fremont Spine and Wellness.
Also, I’m a big fan of the fact that they do movement and exercises in the clinic with a trainer who can make corrections and help you learn proper biomechanics. I have never, ever seen this in any other clinic! How can you beat a place that teaches you how to keep yourself healthy at home?

I finally decided to see a chiropractor after years of fighting poor posture and chronic back pain that was getting worse due to my desk job. I met Dr. Marnie at Vertical World, where she was giving free mini-​assessments and she was instantly able to point out where my problem areas were without me even telling her anything in depth. I went in to Fremont Spine and Wellness a few months later using one of the consult cards she had given out that night, and had x-​rays and a whole assessment done. She explained to me the different levels of care that were available to address my back and spine issues, and suggested ways to work with my very limited budget (I do not have insurance). Ultimately it was up to me to decide how frequently I wanted to visit the office and I felt no pressure from the staff to choose a certain routine — I feel that I have only received honest, friendly and sincere care from Dr. Marnie, Anna and the rest of the staff with every visit. I was also given a lot of at-​home stretches and exercises to work on in my own time to reinforce the work that was done to correct my spine during adjustments.
Initially I was a bit freaked out about the adjustments, but Dr. Marnie was very gentle and made sure I was used to the process before working on deeper corrections over time. I always felt like I was in good hands. Anna also offered me a lot of tips and listened intently to any concerns I had while we did strengthening exercises before/​after the adjustment sessions.
I recommend this team to anyone even remotely interested in seeing if chiropractic care could be helpful to their injuries or health conditions. Remember, your spine is not just something holding up your back, it houses your nerves which are the lifeline of your body’s functions — getting adjusted can help with so many issues we don’t normally think of as connected to this kind of care.
The only thing that made this care difficult for me was the cost, but that is due to my lack of insurance — I think that for anyone with an insurance plan, the rates would be very manageable.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Marnie Hansen for almost a year now and I can tell you that she is by far the BEST!
She really takes her time with you and you can tell she really CARES for her patients. She isn’t pushy at all. She understands your schedule and your financial situation. She also offers New patient classes every other week and gives you home exercises to take home at no cost to you! I highly recommend Dr. Marnie and her staff.

First off, I have to say that Dr. Marnie Hansen, and Team are wonderful. At first I was a little reluctant to see a chiropractor, because I did not know what to expect. After suffering for the past two years with debilitating migraines and back pain, I decided enough was enough. To ease some of the stress of finding a chiropractor, I did a little research online for specialists in the Seattle area, and decided to give this place a shot.
Before scheduling my first appointment, I visited their website. At the time it was outdated, but is now fully updated with information related to their (new/​current) doctors and staff. The website also has some helpful information about what types of insurance providers they accept (which seems to be the majority of them). It may be worthwhile to add that FSW underwent an extreme overhaul on their staff over the past year or so…
When scheduling my first appointment, I was told I would be seeing Dr. Marnie for a consultation and x-​rays. The first visit was purely educational — which I did not mind. She went into depth about what they look for in a healthy spine, and the different methods they use to rehabilitate a spine in distress. After the consultation and x-​ray, I was told to come back in the next week to go over their findings.
At my second appointment Dr. Marnie went over my findings. The x-​rays (clearly) showed some minor cervical neck displacement and misalignment through my mid-​lower back, which explained the frequent migraines. I trusted Dr. Marnie and her medical expertise — 100%. She is very knowledgeable at what she does.
After reviewing my results, she gave me her opinion and several options that worked for me, and my wallet. She was not pushy, or rude, in fact, she was very understanding and sensitive to my decision. Now, almost 7 months later, I have not had one migraine, or any severe back pain.
Before you are ready to commit, their staff looks into what type of insurance you have (how many visits you have/​calendar year or how much you will pay out of pocket/​visit). The staff at FSW are very personable, and sit down with you to make sure you understand the information, or if you have any questions. Be advised that if your insurance allows a certain amount of visits/​calendar year, keep track of this yourself! The only downfall to FSW is that they do not keep an accurate record for you. It’s very easy to rack up a bill if you do not pay attention to this!

Dr. Marnie & the team at Fremont Spine & Wellness are the BEST. The office is clean, their staff is attentive, and I’m always in and out of there feeling a million times better.
After being a gymnast & dancer growing up and now working a desk job all day and being a runner, my back, neck, and hips were becoming more and more frequently sore. I am not someone who likes seeing doctors of any kind but I work in Fremont and had heard great things about Dr. Marnie so I decided to give her a shot. She is so great — she’s really gentle and explains things really well. I was nervous for a few weeks during my adjustments and she was really patient and made me feel a lot more comfortable. I would recommend Dr. Marnie to anyone who needs a chiropractor.

I was really hesitant to see a chiropractor. I’ve been experiencing tension and pain in my neck and upper back for YEARS now but never did much about it besides a few massage sessions. The relief were always temporary.
With the push of a friend, I went to meet Dr. Marnie and the rest of the staff. The very first appointment was really educational. Dr. Marnie spent a lot of time explaining what it is that she does in addition to giving me a mini anatomy & physiology lesson. We went over my concerns and before I left, we took some X-​rays.
Second session: We reviewed my X-​rays and I was blown away to see what was going on with my spine. There were a few points of deviation… and they were located exactly where I’ve been hurting for years. I met Anna next and she taught me how to use the equipments that they have in clinic to help loosen up the muscles before being adjusted. The first one is designed to help loosen up the neck muscles. I honestly didn’t feel much of anything (but it’s probably because we were starting out easy). Then we hopped onto the wobble chair. As silly as it looked — this chair did help stretch out the muscles around my hip area. Lastly: the Power Plate. 6 minutes of intense vibration (which apparently forces the muscles to contract). After 4 minutes of it, I literally felt my eyeballs start to shake as well. It was… quite an interesting experience.
The adjustment: I was REALLY nervous going into this part. I’ve seen enough kung fu movies and hear enough horror stories to know that something could go wrong (i.e. death, paralysis, etc). To put me at ease, Dr. Marnie explained to me exactly how much force she is putting on my spine and reassured me that the «cracking sound» is just from the nitrogen bubbles in between the joints going into the synovial fluid. She was also really gentle. Before doing anything, she explained exactly what I needed to do and what she will be doing. It turned out to be a really relaxing experience.
The aftermath: The tension was temporary gone but did come back the next day. This was completely expected. In order to fully eliminate or alleviate this pain (which has been present since 2005) — it would take a lot of commitment (in my case, 3 – 4 adjustments per week) before I can see any improvement. Dr. Marnie called me the day after just to make sure I was doing well. She really does care a lot for her patients.
Why it didn’t get the 5 stars: When I was given the schedule for the adjusting hours… I saw that none of the time worked out for me. I work in Kent until 5:30pm. Allison later told me that there is a sister clinic right above them that have later hours (until 8pm I believe). Their online website didn’t tell me much about this «sister clinic» so at the moment, it’s still a complete mystery to me. Besides that, everything else was great. I’m really looking forward to my massage session on Friday.

I never actually had a massage or appointment here but I tried to make an appointment with no response whatsoever.
I had a Groupon for a massage and assessment here and tried to schedule an appointment with them for two months. Two months of calling with no answer and no return of my message requesting an appointment. It was eerie, almost like they had gone out of business but I knew they hadn’t.
Maybe it’s a good place once you are in and have an appointment but I never found out. I also won’t go back based on the fact that they ignored my appointment requests for so long with no explanation.
I eventually got a refund from Groupon and told them that the business was not responsive.
