Elite Event @ Karma Martini Lounge

Good form!
What a great way to get back into the HH swing of things after being gone for a while. I wish I would have tried the food though.
Perfect template for Elite Events.

So this was the shortest time I ever stayed at an Elite Party. That doesn’t mean that it was bad. it just means I’m getting old.
Here is a play-​by-​play on my night:
Michelle passes out claws
Dfens starts biting peoples’ crotches and bewbies with said claw and blaming it on other people
After watching all this Betsy K. puts the claw in her mouth! I’m not sure if I should be turned on or if I should be afraid!!!
I started passing out dirty notes to girls. So if you got a napkin with a drunken written message such as «for a good time call Matt R. at 834−4343» give him a ring!!!
I witnessed Quani C. break something. Of course she remained sober the entire night as witnessed in this photo
Some part of the night Michael O texted he was on this 8^th drink in San Francisco. This before I found out he visited the Power Exchange

The music was so loud it blew out the last part of my precious hearing.
After getting only TWO drink tickets someone found a $ 5 bill and a drink ticket on the ground. We divvied up the pirate booty amongst ourselves… I took the drink ticket of course.
Gawd Anastasia B said I was one of her favorite Unilocalers! I swear she wasn’t drunk when she said this *8P
I found out that I was the only person who offered money to remain Elite in ’08.

This is by far the most sober and the most I’ve remembered on a Unilocal event. I promise never to let this happen again!

The moment you walk in, you think in your head, «oh shit. i’m going to need a cab ride home!» The drinks were very very yummy and the best part was, when the homeless man drank my drink, the bartender gave me a new one (but it was waaaaaaaaay stronger! woo hoo!) it was an awesome bar. I will come back in a heart beat. in fact, i’m going to be there next sunday for their all day happy hour.
ALSO, it was really good to see all the old Unilocalers and all the new Unilocalers. missed you all. can’t wait for the next one.

I found a plus one!
And I didn’t hide in the corner.
I did have to drive home, so I wasn’t able to take full advantage of the free booze! But, it was still great.

Another successful Elite event! The lychee martini was delicious! As were the sweet ‘n sour chicken and the tofu cubes.
But most importantly, I will try to refrain from biting Michelle’s ass at future Elite events. ;) Hope I didn’t leave a mark!

Had a great time!
Had some great drinks, made some new Unilocal friends, did a bit of dancing, and got my +1 to sign up for Unilocal!
Can’t wait for the next one…

I got more than a little tipsy. I think I was downright buzzed and beyond!
This event was a great time! I definitely had a blast, it was fun seeing everyone.
Karma gets 5 fantastic stars for not only having great cocktails, fantastic chicken thingys (what the heck WERE those? they were amazing!) Calamari that was actually delectable, as well as a smoking porch with HEAT LAMP where you can also take your drink.
That’s important stuff for those of us who enjoy the idea of emphysema and lung cancer in our future.

I tried to do some biting, but my aim was off.

I heard the douche who booed Maia & Katie’s dancing and to them I say, «What’re you smoking? No, I don’t want any, stupid crack head.»
I have to thank Michelle for putting on yet another fantastic gig. No humans bit me but several plastic monkeys tried to bite my nipples.
Patrick G. wasn’t there so I’m still convinced he’s a robot.
I did meet a lot of excellent people and had a great time. I also talked with Anna about how awesome the band Battles is… two or three times. It was surreal, like a time warp. Drink, eat, talk to fellow Unilocalers, drink, gaze at the crowd and revel in how much I like Unilocal and Eliteness, see Anna and discuss the musical incredibility of Battles– Repeat!
My point being, if I had to be stuck in a time warp, this is where I’d want it to be.

A Wonderful Event hosted by Wonderful People…

Wow… what a crazy fun night!
I thought about dropping a star, just for the sheer fact that I fell and had to nurse my injury w/​free booze, but then I realized — it’s not the event’s fault I’m a klutz, plus the excellent first aid kit at Karma and the free booze (thanks Mr. Bartender man!) totally made up for it!
The dance floor was a riot! I had a blast talking w/​so many new people and finally meeting so many that I’ve threaded with online!

Lots of fun, especially for my first Elite event!
I was pretty nervous at first to be honest, but my fellow Elites are fantastic! Granted, I only spoke to about 5 people, but they were all quite awesome. Next time I’ll be braver and branch out even more.
