I think this place is severely overrated. We used to love JP Mattys and gave the new ownership a fair shot I believe. First visit was ok, working out new ownership quirks I thought. Second visit showed price increases and terrible service. Worst part was that half of the terrible service came from the owner herself upon bringing up our issues with the visit. Snotty and definitely did not care that a group of customers would not return. There’s many other places in Sebastian I’d much rather spend my money in than at café not in paradise.

When in Sebastian, this is one of the places to stop in. The breakfast was good the French toast was awesome huge to say the least. Bagels fresh. Service was good and friendly. Coffee was fresh.

This place seems to be doing alright since taking over JP Mattys.
Good food, ANYTIME… breakfast or lunch. Some
Items have changed since the new owners took over and their service is a bit slower than I remember. We are locals, so we used to frequent this place. However, we easily spend over $ 30 for BREAKFAST. And that’s not because we ordered a lot of food.
There are less than a handful of breakfast joints, and this one seems to be holding out at the top.
The new décor is nice and clean, and the building signage has finally been switched. However, the menu is still JPM.
