Awesome place to stay!!! Been coming every year since it opened! Sparkling clean. Very well maintained. Free mini golf & nice pool & ADULT hot tub if you don’t want kids around. Staff is very nice & helpful. 5 stars!!!

Pleasantly surprised. I booked this resort before I looked at the Unilocal reviews and was quite aprehensive before we got here, but it appears that the management is quite responsive to issues brought up in Unilocal Reviews. I came with elderly parents and grade school kids around Thanksgiving and stayed 5 nights. Kids can go into the pools and spas, there is just one spa that is adults only. They have tons of art classes for the kids and adults and they are wonderful. The kids made frog keychains and I did a watercolor class. Very fun! They have a playground, basketball court and miniature golf. All appropriate for kids. I went to a yoga class and the instructor was the real deal (like studio yoga); she was very good and able to include people of all different yoga experience/​abilities. The units are pre-​manufactured cottages and the layout is like a single wide trailer, long and skinny. My family (+ kids) stayed in one unit (one bedroom plus a pull out couch) and my parents had a separate bedroom attached via a deck (half of another unit). They had a separate bathroom. The units are new, ceilings vaulted and very clean. They have free laundry, and even give you detergent and dryer sheets! How cool is that? They have a microwave/​convection oven combo, dishwasher, and enough dishes to feed my family Thanksgiving dinner. Parking is right outside the units. Since AT&T doesn’t work here, they allow you to make calls to anywhere, from the landlines. They have computers in the office so you can check email. The wifi in our unit worked perfectly though. They have tons of movies to rent. The grounds are immaculately clean so any rodent issues previous reviewers had must be an anomoloy. We are in the desert and the resort backs up to wilderness areas and this is where these creatures live. The resort is 4 miles from Sedona (we measured it) off of a 4 lane highway. It only takes 5 minutes or so from Sedona. Beautiful.

They are single wide manufactured homes that have stucco over them. Nice decks added on and inside is in nice condition. The park is maintained nicely. We played miniature golf (free). There was no cell phone service we have TMobile but they have a wired phone you can use, just let them know yours didn’t work so they don’t charge you. There is no secured internet and it’s made very clear at check in, would have needed to know this ahead of time since we had business needs to tend to. I guess they have sales pitches and breakfast that goes with it along with activities that you can pay to do? Bring extra whatever you need for less than 3 nights, you don’t get maid service. They need to replace the couch and chair, the cushions are ruined for comfort. It’s nice though to have a living room, small kitchen and separate bedroom. If you need coffee buy it at the store or buy it from them. Need a map, stop at the Tourist Center in town or buy it from them. You get my sentiment. There is however free laundry, how nice is that? I couldn’t tell if the pool/​spa was open so we didn’t use it. Honestly, I was too afraid to ask the clerk who checked us in. I dealt with that at checkout with the manager. Mike seems to be doing a good job of turning things into a positie experience. If you have any issues call him in the morning, he dealt with an issue we had in a very professional manner. Hope I covered it all, I would have left a less positive review if it hadn’t been for the Front Desk Manager (Owners pay attention to that comment and follow his plans for the front end of the resort).

Wonderful place! Very accommodating and friendly!

Clean comfortable small stand alone units in a resort that shows pride of ownership. Each unit has a nice deck with table and chairs for dining outside. Each unit has a charcoal bar-​be-​que and there are larger shared gas units around the resort. Differs from other typical timeshares in that the units are stand alone and spaced attractively around small streams that end in rock fountains. Grounds are attractive and meticulously maintained.
Entire staff is courteous and helpful in every way.
WIFI is on again, off again in some units. AT&T doesn’t service this area at all. Each unit has a wired telephone from which you can make unlimited free calls in the USA

We stayed at Sedona Pines for one night, and it was a pleasant experience. We had the two room cottage, and it was perfect for two couples, one with a baby. The main cottage had a sitting area, small kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. The second bedroom, which was located across the deck, had a bed and bathroom. The deck provided a nice separation for privacy, while the main cottage was nice for the group to hang out. While the amenities weren’t exactly modern (read, from the 80s), it had everything we needed to make our short stay comfortable.
We took advantage of the mini golf course, which is pretty small, but has 18 holes and the equipment was easily accessible. Assigned parking spots were nice and convenient. We didn’t try the restaurant or pool/​spa, so I can’t comment on those. I would give this place a solid 3.5 stars, but since half stars aren’t available, I’ll round up.

SEDONA’s finest tourist trap with quaint cabins. Enough to drain the charge from this sacred and energetically powerful land is a marketing scheme for time shares aimed at tourists. The exchange of energy and time with these people is not worth the gifts. Be weary.

I rated this pace 5 stars for the following reasons.

We were a family of 4 + dog in a 1 bedroom; 1 bath; pet friendly unit. We stayed for 2 nights.
There is a front porch with benches table and 2 chairs. All we used the resort for was to sleep and eat while we Mtn biked and hiked in Sedona; we did not use any of the resorts amenities.
It is conveniently located for the area. 5 miles to Safeway grocery. 20 miles approximately to Jerome, AZ. We found the unit comfortable the kitchen was well equipped minus an oven. Our unit had a grill (park style) our front which we used to cook hamburgers. The one bedroom had a queen size bed that was not uncomfortable but not the best nor the worst mattress. The bedroom is small, me and the wife could not pass each other. There is a small TV with cable in the bedroom. The kitchen is a galley style not much counter top space. We cooked breakfast and dinner. The fold out bed had a very thin mattress glad I didn’t sleep on it. There was a dinner table with a bench and two chairs. We eat all our meals at the table.
Things I didn’t like
— Wi fi was spotty
— Our units bedroom faced 89A at night we could here the road noise.

First of all, this review is for the «Sales Presentation» — NOT THE RESORT itself. The resort itself has very friendly staff, cute cottages and welcoming. I like the fact that I can park my car in front of the unit and my room is right across from the huge adult jacuzzi (that closes at midnight). If I rank the resort — it would be a five star. However, this review is for my experience with the sales staff at the sales office. When you check in for longer than a few days, they will ask the guest to see a concierge and the concierge will ask you to attend a timeshare presentation and they will give you a gift.
This is what happened to me … and I read the previous Unilocal reviews and the same thing happened to another lady. Yeekee!
Summary:
I found the Sales Managers Darren to be extremely rude, horrible customer service, and I think he is a racist (because I can’t think of any reason why he would act and talked the way he did). I don’t want to make this a racist issue, but I can definitely feel there was discrimination from him. The other manager Lydia had no customer service skills either. The receptionists had attitudes and really initiated the entire terrible experience and it ruined our day in Sedona.
Most Surprisingly, I spoke with the Broker — Greg (its a sales office, so this is considered a real estate office with licensed agents), and all he did was defend his employees — particularly Darren, saying that the manager has been with him for 15 years, etc… I see where the entire staff get their customer service from. I wish they would hire a consulting company to come and train on customer service, also they should all go through a diversity course so they know how to deal with people from various cultures and backgrounds.
This is what happened:
I had a sales presentation appointment for a 2pm, I went there early at 11am trying to see if I could attend early so I could leave Sedona and go to another city. (I told the Concierge Lady that I was going to do that). I showed up about 11:02am and the girl on the left of the counter helped me, I learned that the presentation doesn’t start until 11:30am. I said okay, I would love it if they could squeeze me in if people don’t show. I proceeded to sit on the couch and wait until 11:30 to see if all their appointment showed up. The receptionist had no clue and didn’t understand what I was saying or try to do. She ask the girl next to her, a girl with dimples, she too had no clue and didn’t understand the process. They think that I want to be seen «NOW,» which is not the case, I want to wait to see if I could take someone’s spot if they are a «no show». I sat on the couch for about 15 minutes or so, then I went to the girl on the left and said «is there any paperwork I need to fill out for either this presentation or the later presentation?» she said «no, you already filled out all the paper already (I brought my confirmation letter with me)» then she proceeded to say «we still can’t take you right now …» I was thinking in my head … I know, I was just asking if I need to fill out any paper for this presentation or the 2pm presentation.”???
Then she whispered to the dimple girl, then the dimple girl went to the back, then a manager came out at around 11:20am (Lydia is her name), and said we can’t take you «right now». I explained to her — I understand you can’t take me «NOW»; if its okay with her that I would prefer the 11:30am session and I understand if everyone showed then I wouldn’t be able to. However, I would like to wait until after 11:30am to see if there are any «no shows» so I could take their spot, she said «sure», it would be more like 11:45am. I said okay, I will wait if she doesn’t mind, she said okay.
Side note: From the moment she came out to the moment she left … I sensed a little attitude.
Meanwhile, I could hear the receptionist say that they are waiting for 6 more parties to show up. I counted 4 parties that came in. So I am thinking, we might have a chance … 2 parties didn’t show so 2 spots may be available.
11:45am came and gone. Everyone, including the 2 receptionist left to the back since 11:40am. So I waited 10 more minutes until 11:55am and proceed to go find the manager-​Lydia, whether we could be seen or not. At this point … I had already been there 1 hour. At this point, the receptionist came back, and I began to tell the receptionist that Lydia said that we would know at 11:45am … Lydia came at this point and said «we can’t see you now,» you have to come back at 2pm. While talking to Lydia … Darren (whom I never spoke with prior, started SCREAMING and said we don’t need to come back at 2pm. Talked demeaning …
I wish Greg, the Broker, in charge of these agents could see the surveillance video of how rude his employee Darren treated us and was extremely rude and insulting. (I notice they had surveillance on the outside — not sure if they have it inside

I received a free cruise in the mail from Sedona Pine Resorts. I called the number and I was told I had to go listen to a presentation. I ask them if this was the place by Desert Ridge and he replied yes. He said since I had not been in the office for a couple of years they would like to see me again. I told him I was not able to buy because I was in a car accident where I broke my neck, had to sell my house and I am putting everything back together again so I want not in a place to buy anything and if I was going to buy it would be a house. They gentleman on the phone said it was fine and set up the appointment for 1÷31÷15 at 11:30
I showed up for my appointment and an older white hair man named Bob walked me back to his cube. I was honest up front with Bob that I could not buy right now because of my situation. Bob started looking at me with slanted eyes and said if you are not going to buy what should we talk about. I told him he could give me the presentations. He started giving me a nasty attitude and replied verbatim «why would I waste your time or mine by doing that?» And he just stared at me with dirt eye. I grabbed my phone because I was very uncountable and I replied to a text. Bob says to me «if you do not but down your phone the 90 minutes starts now.» I told him he was being rude making me feel unconfutable and I wanted to speak to him manager. He then continue to give me even a worse attitude as he went to grab the manager.
After sitting in Bob’s cube for about 15 minute… Jim the director shows up. I explain the situation to Jim. He said he remembered me from 2 years ago. I told Jim I could not buy and how Bob had treated me. I told Jim I explained to the guy on the phone I had been here before and I was not able to do anything. Jim proceeded to scrunch up him face and squint his eyes at me and tell me they cannot have people on their phones playing scrabble. I told him jim, Bob was being rude so I grabbed my phone to reply to a text. Jim then asked me who I spoke with on the phone. I told him I had no clue. Then Jim started to get more rude and scrunching his face at me. I told him I did not appreciate him treating me rude because I was not going to buy. He asked me what he was doing to be rude and telling me Bob was not rude to me either. I scrunched up my face mocking him and showed him what he was doing to me. He said I would have to sit with Bob for the remaining time. I expressed I did not feel comfortable with Bob. Jim got up look around for a minute and came back to tell me that I would need to reschedule because there was no one else to help me. I told Jim I was not going to rescheduling, that I drove 30 minutes and I had been in the office for over 40 minutes. I told him I would watch a video. He told me to leave the office. I asked for my cruise invitation back and he refused to give it to me and threated to call security. I have never been treated so rude and hurtful by a company in my life. This was the most unprofessional people working and representing a company. I was upfront about not be able to buy and was treated rude, had things turned around on me and wasted my Saturday morning.
I get they are about sales but I was honest and I cannot believe you have these types of people representing your company. I will never stay at one of your resorts and I will let everyone I know not to go to one of these presentations.

The cabins, which are small manufactured homes, are fine. They are very cozy, there is plenty of hot water, and the kitchens are equipped well enough to cook a basic meal. The couches and chairs and beds are comfortable, which is not always true of timeshare resorts.
We did get a phone call, asking us to attend an informational meeting to sell us a unit. There was a gift available, as usual. We declined (From other experiences — don’t go to one of these meetings if you enjoy relaxing on vacation — timeshare sales are notoriously aggressive. A dental cleaning is more pleasant, but I digress…)
The WiFi is passive/​aggressive. We were warned by the desk clerk that it «wasn’t reliable» and he was oh so correct. You will get a signal for 2 or three minutes, then you’ll get bumped off. Then you’ll be on for 20 minutes, and every thing will freeze.
And forget about making phone calls, getting texts or getting on the internet if you are an AT&T user. Zero to 1 bar. Our travel companion had much better luck with Sprint, which worked well (both phone and iPad).
The cable (Direct TV) was also very spotty. It went out completely one day.
It was winter, and very cold and we did not use the workout room or the other amenities, but we saw many others using the features. We were told about a yoga class and a craft sale.
Overall, a nice place to stay. Don’t depend on the wifi.
Get out of your room and enjoy the amazing view of Sedona!

What a mess of a resort! Preface this with there was a random snow storm during our trip which had a huge impact on the quality of our stay.
Cable went out in our room for 3 days and although the front desk informed us all of northern Arizona had lost their cable the rec room and gym conveniently still had signals.
All of the activities were cancelled for our stay which is understandable as the freeway was treacherous the first night but was plowed by the next day.
The restaurant was closed so we were snowed in with no food options,
THEY CHARGE $ 45 for «CLEANING» where they swap your towels, throw out ONLY the bathroom trash, and take your sheets away without replacing them. THANKS SO MUCH.
Nasty retired people living in the RV! Think they own the place! Harassed my dad and swung a weight at my mom’s head. Called the front desk and they acted all concerned but never did anything about it or returned our calls.
They made sure to sweep all the snow and ice off the steps of the cottages where people were checking in but were content with the rest of us slipping on our way down the stairs.
No activities for kids which means they are running around and screaming in the streets.
The front desk is a rinky-​dink piece of trash compared to their sales entry and desk. sure makes you feel valued now that they already have your money.
I overheard the front desk people saying how pissed off all their guests were and how many people were checking out. Turned into a ghost town the second night we were here even though they were booked through the week.
You’re also pretty far from Sedona compared to other resorts, like 10 – 15 minutes.
I can deal with the claustrophobic small cottages and mildew sheets and towels but being stuck in here with no cable, or activities, NO WIFI SIGNAL (and red rock park tlaquepaque and downtown sedona all closed) was a living hell.

Pleasant but we won’t be back. Not enough room for big kids and adults but quaint as it is a sweet RV park. Activities’ breakfast was limited and prompt but free, informative and we won a cool prize. Not a great place for kids– this is definitely the post retirement set and most aren’t happy to see kids. The don’t allow kids in any spa and we were posted up across from the Lagoon which is a pool sized spa. Trust me the other guests will freak out if your kids go in the spa or make noise in the pool. It really is an old folks home. Don’t waste your weeks/​points if you are younger than 65.
The update on RCI points isn’t worth your time spent from 9 – 12 with small children despite the 90 minutes they insist and told them repeatedly what we were interested in. Heard nothin about the new resort and loads about our sales ladies’ previous vacations. Diamond has a more concise presentation without the the 3 hour bottom line for essentially the same system. They didn’t honor our interests at all and have turned us from the system. Kids just sat and watched TV– no activates or crafts. Diamond has real child care, tye die shirts, keychain a, a bag of stuff and real food. Can’t say the same here– it was a timeshare person who regretfully admitted she had to go «babysit» while we were at reception. I nearly had a heart attack as a stay home mom– this girl didn’t give a shit and at that moment I was nearly done. They literally watched movies/​games and that girl didn’t interact at all. Our kids were upset that it took longer than the 90 minutes promised and are still debating if the jeep tour was worth our time.
Maia was pleasant to my husband but ultimately routinely insulting to me which ruined the deal– just from the moment I voiced hesitation. Don is a closer and adorable– he does well for his job and is appropriately suited but still a closer. Darren and Don were charming and pleasant. Darren was super charming and I’m sure does well– if you’re his wife– he loves you and gushes about you!!! You are fortunate! ;)
However we have had other women who were far more charming and pleasant– she was assumptions. Insisting I breed negativity? WTF? Us so cal people dont believe you’re vortex theories BTW we don’t use our money to buy $ 5 lattes everyday or $ 6000k purses but should I assume it’s a compliment that you think we do? Restaurant on property is fantastic and staff is working their buns off–
Make a legit happy hour and this place will take off– took the night off from Elote and it was really great. Get some legit specials and live music and this could be great!!!

Great weekend getaway! The big, not crowded, saltwater, lagoon style pool is a big plus. The rooms are more like a vacation home than a motel room, but you don’t have to clean it or pay a cleaning fee — so you get the best of both worlds.
The kitchenette is very nice, the bed and the sofa sleeper are very comfortable, the amenities are very high end and the property with the chair swings and ponds make you feel right at home. As far as wildlife goes, we had a big laugh when a bat dove for a June bug and buzzed my daughter in the pool, so who knows you might see something. There is a cattle guard, so javelin and deer will only be visible outside the perimeter.

We have been at this resort three times. The accommodations were wonderful for us. However, the bedroom across the patio offered basic bedroom amenities which could have been enhanced w/​a small refigerator and microwave. Some of the negatives are that the resort is not in walking distance to any stores, gas stations, or, in our case, towers for receiving calls on our cell phone. One recommendation is to offer a shuttle to town (5 or 6 miles away) so that one is not «stuck» if there is no car available.

All in all I can say the resort was terrible. However, the rooms were really small. It was okay for the both of us but any more than two people and it would get really cramped really fast. The place was amazingly clean though. The stuff was very helpful. The pool was a good size and warmed to the point where it was comfortable not too cold. The exercise room was a tad small but nobody used it so I don’t think they will be upgrading soon. The reason for the three stars… No wifi, no cell phone service! My understanding that it’s OK to get away but when you’re in a strange place of relying on Google Maps this can be a real pain in the ass. Also how was I supposed to use my Unilocal account! Sedona is a beautiful place but been there done that. This is Steve justice comfy at home signing off.

Super cute, clean cottage. Kitchen well outfitted… small but mighty. Stove top, microwave, coffeemaker, full fridge with icemaker.
Comfortable bed. Sleeper sofa is very acceptable. Super awesome shower. Big and strong water pressure.
Flat screen TV, cute dining area. So much packed into 399 square feet.
We skipped the «free» breakfast and timeshare presentation. We did eat at the café twice. Both very good meals. Well priced, great service.
Spa hot tub is so large it is better described as a small pool. Very nice and clean.
Difficult Wifi connectivity, but they warned us that may happen. Would recommend! Enjoyed being away from the crowds.

I recently vacationed in Sedona with my boyfriend. It was my first time there, and my first vacation in a long while, so I was ready to relax and enjoy time away from work.
The resort is not actually in Sedona, it’s about 10 minutes from Uptown Sedona. We stayed in one of the units that included two cottages; one with a bedroom/​kitchen/​bathroom/​living room and the other with just a bedroom and bathroom.
Positives
Jacuzzi:
Huge, clean, powerful jets and a waterfall.
Towels:
Lots of towels, too many for just the two of us.
Parking:
Directly in front of the cottage, assigned.
Other:
Basic kitchen utensils included.
Vaulted ceilings.
Negatives
Doors Opening and Closing:
We made 4 trips to the front office to get new entry cards in order to get the correct set that opened both of our units. Even then, we had intermittent issues with opening one or the other cottage doors throughout our stay. So we never really knew when we would have access to our belongings.
Also, the entry doors don’t close! Be warned that you may think your door is shut, but it isn’t. We had to push against the doors with our full body weight in order to get them to latch properly.
Fire Extinguishers:
The fire extinguishers in both cottages were not up to code. The tags on the extinguishers did not reflect that they had been checked or serviced since their installation in November 2012.
WiFi:
WiFi is free, which is probably why it doesn’t work with a damn. We were one of the closer units to the front office (where I assume the WiFi originates) and we weren’t able to use our tablet for most of the time. Also, the resort has taken it upon them to block their guests from accessing adult websites. Yes, I’m serious.
Linens:
The blankets, linens, and towels smelled badly. I couldn’t have the sheets or blanket next to my face because it made me feel nauseas. Also, the blankets are horribly thin, so I would suggest bringing along your own or requesting more of theirs, but remember that theirs smell pretty bad.
Heater:
On our first night there, the heater in the bigger cottage broke around 4am. It was 52 degrees in our cottage! The resort boasts that they have staff at the front office ²⁴⁄₇ «for guest convenience». However, that proved to be incorrect because we tried calling all of the extensions listed for the front office/manager’s office from 5:30−7am with no answer. We ended up switching to the smaller cottage around 7am (the heater in there wouldn’t turn off!)
We finally reached someone at 7:30am who told us that she couldn’t do anything because the guy that fixes stuff wasn’t in yet, so we’d have to wait. We called back at 8am and she said he would be over shortly, which turned out to be another 45 minutes. We were in the middle of getting ready for our day when the guy showed up, said he fixed it, and left. We left shortly after him for the day. When we got back, the temperature was only up to 56 degrees which I attribute to the sun, not the heater. We decided to sleep in the smaller cottage for the rest of the trip. We’re sure that the heater still hasn’t been fixed.
Noise:
The groundskeepers start their leaf blowers and lawn mowers around 7am, so sleeping in is impossible.
Kitchen:
The kitchen is «galley style» which means it literally IS the hallway from the bedroom to the living room. It’s functional, but ridiculously tight. Only one person can work in there at a time.
Other:
This is a time share resort, so they try to give you the sales pitch to buy a cottage or whatever. We politely declined, and that was pretty much it.
The provided soaps smell awful. And there is a card next to them indicating they are a «one-​time gift, not meant as a provision», which means the resort will not provide more throughout your stay.
The phones in both cottages would randomly beep (loudly) throughout our stay. We aren’t sure what that indicted, but it was annoying.
Stray cats. Stray cats everywhere.

I got an online deal to stay at this place so I decided to give it a try during MLK weekend.
It’s a timeshare but they never tried to sell anything to me which I appreciate it because we weren’t gonna buy. The only reason why we stayed there was because I got the deal. I imagine they offered the deal to make it people go but the tour or presentation was voluntary. They mentioned it at check in and we just didn’t request it during our stay. I thought they’d ask about it when we checked out but they didn’t even mention it.
Checking in and checking out was easy. Management filled in my form for my
gift card that was part of the deal without putting pressure on me to do their timeshare presentation.
Calling it a resort is maybe too much but the place’s actually very nice. Very close to Sedona and they have tons of amenities. They had daily classes and activities. Free Wi-​Fi, free laundry and a place for kids to play. There’s also an 18 hole minigolf! Super fun! We didn’t try their restaurant/​bistro, though. They also offer room service :)
The cottage itself’s very small but it’s fine for a short stay for a couple (even with a kid, it’s fine). 4 adults may be too cramped in there, though.
Our cottage had wood floors and the kitchen was super nice. Electric stove and all the appliances you need. They even have a dishwasher! They provide with all the basic tools you need to cook (pots, pans, silverware, plates, glasses, wine glasses, bowls, you name it!) and even some coffee filters, sugar, creamer and dishwasher detergent. Kitchen had a coffee maker, blender, electric can opener, bottle opener, microwave oven… I mean, you could cook any meal in there! We didn’t use the laundry facility but there was some detergent and softener in the cottage too.
Bathroom was a good size for the size of the cottage itself. They provide with tons of towels (even extra towels in case you wanna use the pool). Masted bedroom’s tight but you don’t really need more space. Tons of storage all over the cottage. Nice TV, DVD player in the living room and bedroom area.
Signs on the freeway are too small and we got lost. Also, the sofa bed in the living room was extremely uncomfortable (and noisy) but that’s just a problem with any sofa bed, I believe. A daybed with a trundle bed below may be a better option but that’s just my opinion.
Distance from the city wasn’t too far at all. Less than 10 min by car to get to Uptown Sedona. Surroundings were very quiet and relaxing. There are water fountains and water running all over the property.
If I get another deal like this one, we’re definitely coming back for another long weekend.

This is off the path about 7 miles away from Uptown Sedona and you will have to drive if you stay here. I was hoping for a place that could be closer to the trails, etc.
If you are looking for a resort to relax this might be your place. However I did not see any views from here. You will have to most likely drive to enjoy the views of Sedona.
I would say keep looking if you want a 5 star resort experience.
