Simply Unique Events

I’m currently at this venue for an event and was so appauled by this place that I couldn’t help but write my review now. Do not host your wedding here. To start the evening, the staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. The gentleman who I did not know was the owner rushed everyone to their seats in a rude tone as the time approached and even exclaimed «Damn,» once after my immigrant family members did not understand it the first time. This was my first impression. Then, once everyone was seated and the ceremony had begun, all you could here other than the Father (and over the light whispering in the crowd) was all of the other staff who were in the kitchen apparently having a party of their own. Throughout the entire ceremony, you could hear the exact conversation going on in addition to additional annoying laughter and loud chatter. Had I not been sitting at the front of the ceremony with the family I would have gladly stepped into the kitchen to tell them all to shut up. Next, once the ceremony concluded and the reception began, we got to experience the waiting staff. With the exception of one or two, everyone was flat out rude. This is a large group of people, many of who traveled to the United States together, getting together to socialize and celebrate a marriage. The staff was less than understanding of this and would consistently bark at patrons over the loud noise instead of politely speaking to them. The group of people hired to do this job clearly are a careless, unprofessional group who they picked up at a low cost. I was beyond irritated that I wasn’t even able to enjoy the TERRIBLE, bland food they served. Absolutely not wedding quality by ANY standard.
I am easygoing and I do not feel the need to write a review unless I am extremely happy or extremely unhappy and this definitely was the latter. I have an impeccable read on people and I just know these are, plain and simple, not good people. Do not spend your money on this place if you plan on spending your special day here. It is the equivalent of a 1 star hotel.
