Moxie Pest Control

I’ve been using Moxie for almost 2 years now, and really like that they will come back for a FREE re-​service without question if I find any pests. After having our quarterly service a few weeks back, we noticed that we had new friends move into our garage (mice). Sam Martinez came out today, set traps, and gave me a lot of information on how to keep mice from invading our garage in the future. He was extremely helpful and answered all my questions. Great service!

I got Albert Gedney for my Moxie service and I very much liked his service. He was very polite and kept me very informed. He came to my door before to let me know what he was doing and came to my door after to let me know that he was finished. I hope I get him again!

Albert Gedney came to see us today for our quarterly inspection and service. He did a great job and explained everything thoroughly. Albert was very friendly and treated us with nothing but professionalism. Moxie is pricey but I can tell you I’ve yet to see a spider in this house since they started taking care of us. The voles are gone and I feel comfortable that my daughters and wife are safe.

Don’t even think about hiring this company!!! They killed my cat Lena they may say it’s safe for pets but if it can kill a spider it can kill a cat. I really hope this company goes out of business!!!

I signed up for service today and the technician was also able to treat my property today. Sam M. Was a very professional tech and was able to complete all the areas we discussed in an efficient manner. I will be requesting him for all future pest treatments.

No Soliciting means don’t knock. Travis ignored the sign then tried to defend this discourtesy as business as usual. Shameful.

Garrett Wells did fantastic job! Very satisfied customer here. He was on time, extremely professional and unbelievably knowledgable about insects. In addition to now feeling safe from spiders I now have extra knowledge about common insects in this region. Great job Garrett Wells and Moxie Pest Control. I have decided to edit my review as I stupidly posted it too soon to tell. For that I am sorry to anyone who read review. As I have continued to see spiders and sadly I truly have arachnophobia which impacts my very daily living. I never agree to door to door solicitors I generally don’t even answer the door. However my husband just had surgery and forgot to call normal exterminator before he began bed ridden so when moxie came to the door I figured they would be able to produce same results as absolute pest control, our normal exterminators. What a mistake so far not only did I prematurely write a good review on results but I have been crying in hysteria every night since each time I find a huge spider. I will include a picture as well although I have taken many each night. I called them tonight and left a message and will revise this review upon their response.

Great, professional service. Garrett was on time, super friendly, and did an excellent job. Can’t wait until the spiders leave! I would definitely recommend their services to anyone out there needing comprehensive pest control at a good price.

My husband contracted them for a year, as that is how they insist upon doing business. The year is now up. Through the entire year, we still had spiders, wasps, yellow jackets and mice everywhere, among ants and pretty much anything and everything else that could crawl and fly. The only time we had a break from a few of the pests was through the deep winter, when the wasps, yellow jackets, etc. were dormant. A pesky mouse came up and said «hi» to my toe a few nights ago on my deck while listening to fireworks, just a few feet, approximately 10 feet, away from one of their traps. There were spiders I watched the whole time I was getting their «service» living all around and inside of my back porch light, which is an LED so it is not sealed glass. It was never sprayed or checked and that seems like an obvious place to me. I don’t know how well they do inside the home because I didn’t want them coming in as I didn’t feel comfortable with them as being a reputable business and they certainly weren’t doing any good outside. I wanted to see at least some improvement and didn’t see any. If anything, the pests got worse. Anyway, as soon as I could, when the year was up, I told the not to come back, and they will not let you talk to the scheduler to cancel, they insist on making you talk to the manager so that they can try to talk you into keeping their service. What a pain!

I have been using Moxie Pest Control since we arrived in Denver 18 months ago. I have had excellent service and the staff do a great job. Mr Richard did the quarterly inspection yesterday for me and explained what he was going to do. Did the work and came back to tell me what he found and what products had been used. He did a great job and was very polite. Well done Moxie!

Every person I spoke with was helpful, friendly and informative. Great customer service!

I have been very pleased with the service from Moxie Pest Control. The customer service is excellent. The service people are friendly and professional. They gave me suggestions about a mouse I had in the garage, which I didn’t act upon, just sealed up the stored dog food/​treats better, so it’s departed. If I have any issues, spotting wasp nests, spiders, etc. they arrange for someone to take care of the issue/​s. I have been extremely pleased with the treatment service and the customer service; would definitely recommend them.

Despite having a very detailed «No Soliciting» sign posted on my door (see uploaded photo), I had a solicitor from this company show up on my porch. He wouldn’t take an initially polite no for an answer and was using shady sales and scare tactics. I can’t trust a company that hires such employee.
Daniel, I’ve seen your apologies on other people’s reviews and I’m unimpressed. Your company is obviously doing nothing to solve the problem as I’m not the only one with this complaint.

So despite my better judgement I was going to give a door to door salesman with Moxie my business. He said that since he was in the neighborhood he would treat the outside of he house for $ 69.00 I agreed and at the end of entering all of my personal information and credit card info he dropped the re-​occurring charges on me that totaled $ 119.00 every quarter. You have an option to cancel before re-​occurring charges hit but then your orig discount is no good.

We’ve been having them to our home for about 8 months. They are always on time and have done a great a job ridding our house of pests. We had Daniel come out yesterday and he was a very pleasant young man and treated our home with respect. I would highly recommend this company.

We hired moxie pest control to come out and do an annual spray to prevent spiders, ants, and other insects. This again was a routine spray that we do every year and have never had a problem before. Moxie came out and sprayed and within a weeks time our yard was infested with spiders, red flying ants and other bugs we have never had to deal with before. They have been out 2 – 3 times after that we the same result, a problem that gets worse. In addition, they have failed to kill/​remove the same large spider that has been in the same spot on our fence on 3 different visits. DO NOT Use this company!

Moxie came door to door which I never really entertain but we had seen several spiders recently so we took their offer. They actually returned the same day and the service person (I think it was Dave but that may have been the sales person) was very pleasant and engaging and went right to it. Both members of their team were very professional.
We actually signed a year service agreement so we’ll see how the rest of the year goes but so far it’s been great.

Find a professional company, and read the contract. This one is a bait and switch. We hired Moxie to do a treatment for spiders last summer $ 25. The sales guy bugged us in our yard since we were working on it. Since then we’ve received harassing phone calls on two numbers for paying them a past due balance. Very disappointing. Most recently they came and said they sprayed in MARCH during a snow storm, we were in California. Really? I am trying to send a check to Moxie for the unpaid balance (they want a credit card for auto charge for treatments that don’t happen) but don’t ever want to see or hear from them ever again. I will tell all of our friends, neighbors, and strangers on social media and Unilocal NEVER to use Moxie. Thanks for spraying our snow and saying our home was included as a bonus. I know I always see lots of spiders in the snow in March.

I have a big «no soliciting & flyers» sign on my door. Moxie guys came to my house TWICE today and interrupted my work. The dogs went crazy. I got the second one on video:
They have been reported to the police for not following the town’s ordinance. I’m going to sue them for breaking it.
