Kirby Studios is the ultimate studio for automotive film, video and still photography production in the Los Angeles area. Built from the ground up with automotive productions in mind, Kirby Studios offers all the automotive biased tools in one place. The result is a studio complex that allows for optimal creativity and maximum efficiency.

We currently offer two major stages, one versatile sub-​stage, one-​of-​a-​kind client area we call «The Cans», a motion-​control turntable, wide variety of lightboxes & flying flats, and on-​site tungsten lighting, all housed within a controlled access facility making it perfect for high security shoots.

History

Established in 2013.

Jim Kirby applied his 30+ years of experience in the automotive advertising field to every aspect of Kirby Studios, making a studio that is geared toward being an automotive shooters paradise. Between Jim’s experience and the help of Kirby Studio’s sister company L.A. Prep, Inc. Kirby Studios aims at being a one-​stop-​shop for a wide range of automotive shoots.
