I have been remiss in posting my review, but this moving company was amazing! My first contact was with Kyle, and he set the tone for a wonderful moving experience. He called me when he said he would and his movers called me when he told me they would. I was quoted one price (a very fair one), and it never changed.
The three gentlemen, Richard, Mitchell, and Andrew, who came to move us did so on Sunday, July 26, 2015. They were friendly, professional, extremely polite, and an all around pleasure to work with. They moved mostly boxes (a LOT of them — two rooms full), and a few pieces of furniture. My husband had forgotten about some items we had in our basement storage unit in the condo, and he figured he would have to move those items himself at a later date. He told the gentlemen about them, and they went down an additional two flights of stairs to get them. There was no change in price, and nothing extra was added to our bill.
They worked non-​stop. As a matter of fact, I had to make them take a ten-​minute break to make sure they stayed hydrated on a very hot Sunday morning. They moved our belongings from a second floor walk up condo (two flights of stairs) to a first floor one. They put the boxes and furniture where I asked them to without reservation or complaint.
All in all, it was one of the best moving experiences my husband and I have ever had. I highly recommend them!

Over the phone customer service is great. The movers are HORRIBLE.
The movers were rude and unprofessional. Complained the entire time and made several rude comments to me. At the end of the move DEMANDED a tip. And when I declined they began to insult me and made an outlandish claim that two men could not have moved my items in 4 hours.
Note the following:
–They were an hour and a half late (which I excused because I didn’t have much to move and realized it would not take that much of my time with the delay). In addition, they provided 3 men instead of 2 for no added fee as a kind gesture.
–When they arrived they were clearly exhausted and moody (it was really hot out — and they were late from a previous job — I excused their crabby mood at first as they were having a bad day. In addition all three of them were grossly out of shape and all three of them had to be at least 40).
HOWEVER — they are movers and this is their job. They basically took their frustrations out on me and my move. They had no right to insult me, complain that I didn’t help them move my belongings and after all of that forcefully ask for a tip and throw a fit because I did not give them a tip. The entire point of hiring movers is to have someone else do it. In addition the 3^rd mover barely did any work, and spent most of his time talking and sitting outside. So really I only had 2 movers. The gesture of providing a 3^rd mover clearly came from office and not the movers. The 3^rd guy that was the add on didn’t want to be there and complained the most. Clearly the company has no repercussions for bad employees and has not checks and balances to make sure the people they hire are fit for the job.
I paid for 4 hours of moving (it is their required minimum — 1 hour travel time and 3 hours minimum to move), it took them ***2 hours total for the move**** — this INCLUDED travel time. They moved a 6 piece living room, two queen size beds (no bed frames), and a few loose items. I knew ahead of time it would not take long, and was content in paying the extra two hours and giving a small tip because I was physically not capable of moving the items myself.
Note I am a female, and all THREE movers were men whom looked like they were in their late 40’s early 50’s. They had NO stairs and NO elevator to deal with. This move was from a 1^st floor house to a ground level garage in a house. They did NOT arrange the items in the house or the garage and they did NOT unpack ANYTHING, as requested; all I was doing was storing items. This was possibly the easiest move ever.
The fact that they were incredibly rude and disrespectful you would think they would be content with earning two hours pay for no work, and not having to move many things. Their behavior is some ridiculous plot you would see in a sitcom. I never had such an experience with movers before.
To make things worse while at the drop off location, 2 of the 3 where in the truck and the 3^rd tells me he asked the others if he can be dropped off at home before arriving to my destination because the move does not require 3 people. Yet after I decline to give a tip the, the other guy states how two people couldn’t move 6 pieces of future and few plastic bins in 4 hours!!! They are shady.
I booked the appointment with a gentleman over the phone, he was nice and considerate, but that means nothing when the actual employees who move the furniture have no respect for their customers.
And to make things worse, after they asked for a tip (which was BEFORE showing me the invoice and providing them my credit card to pay the balance) and I said no, 2 of 3 of them bolted for the truck, closed the back of the truck and began to drive off. I didn’t even get to check the truck to make sure all my items were loaded off. And since they made several insulting comments eluding that I was rich, frankly I would not be surprised if they took some of my items with them. It is the first time in my entire life that a worker asks for a tip BEFORE I am provided a receipt and pay the actual balance for the services rendered.
Please do not use their services.

This needs to be shared about this company. They are rude, unprofessional and threatened people who simply asked them to move the boxes in a senior multifamily condominium. Don’t patronize.

I have used Allpoints Moving to move my goods around the MD/​DC area 2 times within the last few years, and then just recently long distance to California. The estimator was always polite and knowledgeable, on moving day, on time, great crews, professional movers, fast and careful. In fact 2 times my final price was lower than the estimate.
When I asked them if they could move me across country, not a problem, less expensive than the major carriers, everything went smooth. I am really impressed with Allpoints Moving and Storage, I’m glad I found them. I refer them to my friends and associates and always receive positive feedback.

WOW, where do I begin. THIS BUSINESS IS NOT ACCREDITED BY THE BBB. IT IS NOTED ON THEIR WEBSITE, BUT ITS FALSE ADVERTISEMENT.
From the morning of the move, I began to have my doubts. The movers were supposed to arrive between 8:30 — 9:30 am per my telephone conversation with Kyle Curtis. To my surprise, they showed up at 10:15am. I was a little upset, but there could have been traffic so I tried to be understanding. Prior to that I phoned the company a few times, inquiring where the movers were. They told me on both occasions they are 45mins away, which I thought was BS because they should have already been here. I was supposed to get 3 movers, but instead they sent 2 movers and a big guy (on the heftier side) who did absolutely nothing with respect to my move. At one point my wife asked him flat out, what is your purpose… you have been here for all of 10 minutes and you haven’t lifted a box, but he proceeded to count boxes a rarely come up the steps.
Now we are on hour TWO of loading up the truck. The official estimate stated 5 hrs for the move, 1 hour for travel time, 10% for fuel. Now I am an educated man, and I understand an estimate is rough so give or take a few hours more or less. EIGHT hours go buy and these guys are still loading up the truck. At this point I AM LIVID. It is almost 6 o’clock and we still haven’t gotten to the offloading part. Now the weather is starting to show signs of rain. An HOUR later, these guys (mainly the hefty one who was the supervisor) stated that all my stuff will not fit on the truck. I’m like WTF… I hired you, told you i’m in a 3 bedroom townhome and you send out a 26′ truck. That is ample space if they packed the truck properly. Needless to say, I tell them to pack the truck up because I have to move OUT… not move out a little and leave some things behind. Then the hefty guy calls Bill Curtis, who is the worst/​fastest talking sleazeball of a business man I have ever spoken with. The absolute worst. He tells me I can sign a waiver limiting their liability in the event anything gets broken during the move because they are packing the truck up against the drivers best judgment. I’m not stupid, I know my rights and the law for that matter. I say no.
Long story short, I am finally in my new home at 11pm. ALL THE BOXES that were moved were placed in the garage for me to sift through and put where they go properly. I labeled every box. ALOT of glasses were broken because these guys did not read when the box said fragile. Bill Curtis pulled the ultimate bait and switch. He reels you in with a low estimated time, then has sloths move your belongings to ratchet up the time and hours. Sidebar: I had several movers come give me estimates, in home and over the phone. The consistent time was 6 – 7 hours TOTAL for the entire move. This guy is a scam artist. Worst part, I had to RENT a UHAUL the very next day on my own dime, then lift all of the stuff the MOVERS should have put into their truck. It was like I had to move myself out all over again.
Bill Curtis and All Points Moving & Storage Inc. is a scam. I am an attorney and plan to pursue legal action against this rogue company. I will strongly be considering a class action lawsuit as it appears Bill Curtis has consistently engaged in this predatory action with his company All Points Moving & Storage Inc. I plan to file a claim with the BBB, in addition to blogging and sharing my story over social media. Moving is hard enough as it is without bullies and bad businessmen like William «Bill» Curtis preying upon consumers.

Moving? Stay away from All Points Moving. They are price hikers who hide items they damage. Employee too sick to work? No problem to All Points Movers. And that move and set-​up bragging? Trash talk. Big time. Step away from the incompetent.

I was really disappointed with this company. Everything was great with them until move in day. Our movers were over 1.5 hours late and they were not very friendly. To make matters worse, they showed no concern with taking care of our furniture. We had many large knicks and scratches in our better furniture. I even saw one of the movers drop a crate haphazardly on one of our nice tables, then he realized what he did and saw the big mark. He didn’t think I saw how he was abusing our stuff so he never said anything or apologized. And then they asked for a tip which I gave but after realized I should have complained.

Last Saturday, Mitchell and his 4 member group moved my 3 level SFH without any problems. This was an enormous task as my home is almost 5000 sq ft. All of the movers were polite, courteous and hard working. They took the time to wrap all of my furniture, disassemble the beds and tables, including a pool table and carefully move 100’s of boxes into my public storage units. They began at 9:30am and worked non-​stop until 3:30am. Keep in mind that they only had lunch and skipped dinner. Everything that the owner, Bill Curtis promised, All Points Moving and Storage delivered. I am truly satisfied with this company and highly recommend them to handle your moving requirements. I plan to use them in 4 months and expect exactly the same high level of service. 5 STARS!

I will never use this company again. My move was scheduled for Friday morning at 9:00 am. It’s now 9:30 still no movers. Finally, I got a call about 9:45 am telling me they had to take another route to my location so they would be their in 40 minutes, which will then be 10:20 am. 10:45 am still no movers. 11:00 am still no movers. I called them and no one answered. 10 minutes later they called and said they had trouble with their truck and they would be there in 30 minutes. Well they finally showed up at 12:05 pm. The only reason I even continued with the move is because I had put a $ 50.00 deposit down. I asked could I get a discount because they were three hours late, the mover said I don’t know go ask the guy in the truck. Well I didn’t get a discount and to make matters worse, the driver came to me and asked for a tip (who does this) especially when you were three hours late.

I’m surprised to see the bad reviews on here! I hired Allpoints Moving for a DC to MD move last September and I was beyond satisfied with the service. When I called to schedule the move, I spoke to Kyle Curtis, a customer service rep (and I think the son of the owner, Bill Curtis). He was super nice and friendly, and the proce quotes he gave me were much more reasonable than several other companies I had alerady spoken to. On the day of the move, two men showed up right on time with their truck. I wish I could recall their names, but it’s been a while. They were friendly and helpful, got the truck packed up, and we were on the road in no time. They unloaded everything into my storage unit once we got to MD. The original estimate was for 4.5 hours but I’m pretty sure we were done sooner than that.
Like I said, I’m really surprised to see such bad reviews! I guess every move is different, but I was very happy with my experience with Allpoints. They made my move as pain-​free as possible, and I had been keeping their name in mind to use the next time I move. Now I’m not sure what I’ll do.

I was 100% disappointed with the service and professionalism I encountered when dealing with All Points Moving and Storage. AVOID THIS COMPANY, YOU’VE BEEN WARNED! Moving is stressful enough.
My discussions with Bill should have been the first red flag. Every time he answers the phone it’s like I’m waking him up from a nap (I always called during business hours). He talks a good game up front, selling the business with all the buzz words you need to hear to make you feel good about choosing them, but once you get close to the move date everything changes. In addition, his conversation always becomes flirtatious? Dude, «get your mack on» on your own time!
My biggest gripes are their poor scheduling and lack of concern for your belongings. By the time I found all of this out it was too late to find someone else. I was given 3 different times that they would arrive at my place every time we spoke and when I questioned it Bill got defensive and hung up on me, no joke. I had to move the next day and could not cancel. Then on the day they agreed to show up, they didn’t! I had to call and ask where they were at!!!
The guys they sent to me were pretty young and did not wrap things and seemed minimally concerned about protecting surfaces. I had to provide them with covers and plastic. And my stuff still ended up dirty and one of my favorite pieces were damaged. And of course when I called to report it, all I got was attitude.
Please, do not fall for the hype… JUST SAY NO and find a mover that has good ratings on Unilocal!This was my worst move ever.

OMG what a bad experience. I booked this company because they had a good review with the Better Business Bureau talk about a disappointment. They arrived 3 hours late. Not that anyone attempted to call us to tell us why they were late. Since my crystal ball apparently was out of order I called them, the supervisor was so nasty to me and pretty much told me that I was wasting his time by keeping him on the phone. I would have cancelled the move right there If it wasn’t that this was the last day of my lease. There tardiness cause a huge problem as we had not only a limited amount of time where we could use the elevator at our present apartment we also had a limited amount of time at the new buidling. We had also paid the city to reserve 2 parking spaces in front of the bulding for 4 hours, needless to say that was money thrown out the window.
When they finally arrived it was a mad rush to make up for the lost time. They practically just threw everything in the truck. I was told they would secure my TV and wrapped them well, well pretty much they threw a blanket it over it and that was it. We sweated all the way there that the TV would arrive undamadged. They taped up the drawers to my sons furniture when I took the tape off it pealed the paint off the furniture ruining it. When I called it to there attention first they said it was my fault because of the kind of tape I gave them, then they said it was my fault becuase i took the tape off to fast. REALLY! They knew the tape would ruin the furniture but they chose to use it anyway. Shouldn’t they have known better? Oh wait i forgot it was all my fault.
They made no restitution for the damages to the furniture they did not offer a discount for being 3 hours late. Oh but they did show me where on the invoice I could add a tip for them.
Best advise I can give anyone reading this… use a different company. Its not worth the aggrivation you will have to put with for the unprofessionalism you will
recieve.

Wow. Tried to submit information to get a quote online, was immediately bombarded by calls from this company (5 calls in 15 minutes, never left a message). Finally, I answered my phone, asking why they were bombing my phone instead of laving a message. Woman immediately berated me, «Well, why did you leave information online then?» Horrible customer service.
Also, do not believe companies with a single review! They are ripoff artists!
