Not the best Chinese food I have ever had. If you want some cheap«better than takeout» Chinese food, this is the place to go, but it’s definitely not the best in Marietta. I was disappointed at the dishes I had, and the soups were something left to be desired. As far as atmosphere it is your typical hole in the wall Chinese restaurant, nothing spectacular there. The staff was amazing however, I wasn’t a fan of their sweet and sour soup, and she said that it was fine and took it off our check, even though I had eaten half already.

Best Chinese I’ve ever had in my life! I dined in which was the best option I could have done– the menu is slightly different from their takeout menu. I chose the dinner special which included choice of soup, spring roll /wonton and entrée choice $ 13.95. The hot & sour soup(think that’s what it was called), was GOOOOD. Prefect starter! The general chicken was brought out on a platter big enough for two, with big serving spoons and a huge bowl of white rice. The chicken was fresh and it actually tasted like chicken and not the other stuff. The server was real attentive and and response to my table. The cocktails were really inexpensive $ 2 bottle beers & $ 4 wine. The service and the food was dynamic, I left feeling stuffed and happy w/a leftover box. This place is a hidden gem and I’m so glad I discovered it. I’m a foodie and can get real critical when it comes to restaurants– but when a place like this does it right all across the board– you have to tell the world.

Came on Saturday night, around 6PM, Halloween. Restaurant had about three other parties eating, but wasn’t busy at all. We received the menus and waters right away. Didn’t take us long for to figure out what we wanted on the menu since we both were craving shrimp. Waiter came back in less than 10 minutes of us sitting down to order. We ordered a wonton soup, crispy noodles, shrimp basil rolls, general shrimp with fried rice and Szechuan shrimp with steamed white rice. I ordered an unsweet iced tea, which of course has unlimited refills. Keep in mind, The ice tea in the unsweetened iced tea are the ONLY drinks on the menu, besides water, that is free refills. The wonton soup came out rather fast. Very clear liquid from what I’m used to it wonton soup, plus there was shrimp and a lot of veggies in the soup. I felt like it was vegetable soup with the wonton. Next came the steamed rice in the fried rice. Both out before our meals, but only a couple minutes. Between this time, I refilled my unsweet iced tea two times. And they never let my cup get a quarter from the bottom, to where they were picking it up and getting me more. Very fast and staff that paid attention to what was happening on my table. Food came out. Typically, Szechuan in general flavors at a Chinese restaurant or spicy. We were told that both of them were spicy, but neither one really had a kick to them. Overall the meal was great. Fast from service. I’ve been to this Golden Buddha a few times before so I’m always happy with the service. The reason I’m giving four stars rather than five; when we got our fortune cookies at the end we both opened them up and they have the same fortune. This is how you know they are housemaid and packaged rather then factory made, ordered, and given to guest. I would just like my fortune to be something different then the person I’m sitting with.

This place is to DIEFOR… Their food is sooooo good. Been in Marietta for 6 months and wasn’t to fond of the Chinese restaurants around my place until I found this place. All their food is full of flavor! All their entrees come with soup. Staff is very polite and nice! I think this is my new favorite Chinese restaurant. Yum!

Go to spot for order in. Great place. We’ve been stopping by, ordering out, or delivering for many years. Great go-to spot with reasonable rates. Recommend the currys(particularly, the Massaman, Panang, and Green Curries).

I’ve been eating at this location for 20 years! Still order the hot braised chicken, which isn’t on the dinner menu anymore, but they still make it. Always hits the spot. Service is typically quick and attentive. All in all, not much has changed in 20 years. Still one of my favorite spots in ATL to get my chinese fix.

You know, I’ve been coming here so long and so much I think it’s time for an update. My last review was in 2009. Now it’s 2015. Nothing much has changed though. I still think they have good jajangmyeon and jjambbong. Sure, they cost about $ 11 each. I don’t think it’s overpriced. You get a lot of food. You also get a lot of seafood with it. For instance, in the jjambbong, you get huge pieces of shrimp, artificial crab, scallops, squid, and small pork strips. Of course you also get a ton of noodles and and vegetable junk in it too. The broth is creamy, flavorful, and spicy. It’s a pretty dang good, comforting dish for Koreans. Their jajangmyeon is no slouch either. You get plenty of shrimp, scallops, and other junk with their sweet jajang sauce. They just need a bit more onions. But hey, in the Marietta area, this is probably the best you can get. Honestly, since Man Chun Hong went downhill, I daresay this is probably one of the best places to get jajangmyeon and jjambbong in Atlanta. They do suffer from inconsistencies. Sometimes, their seafood wasn’t fresh. When that happens, it sucks. Also, sometimes they overcook their noodles. That’s also bad. Lately, they seem to put out good stuff though. Hopefully, they can keep up with their consistency. When I go in there, it’s always an internal battle to see what I want to get.: the jajangmyeon or the jjambbon. Usually, it’s a last minute decision. They both satisfy in different ways. How is their American stuff? Who cares? It’s your standard American-Chinese food you can get anywhere. If you’re Korean and want the Korean-Chinese dishes, I suggest you check this place out.

Stopped by here only b/c I happened to see the sign after running errands at the nearby Dollar Tree. They do have a lunch menu Mon-Fri 11−3pm with Americanized Chinese food. They also have a Korean/Chinese menu but no English translation at all, and no lunch prices :(Starting prices at $ 10.95 and I ended up getting Jja Jang Myun … I had heard the Golden Buddha on Clairmont Rd has really good Jja Jang Myun so I made the wrong assumption that Golden Buddha #7 would be good too. On a nother note, customers were almost all men when I went during lunch. JJAJANGMYUN — $ 10.95 I usu. get this dish at Man Chun Hong for about $ 5.95(lunch) so I had high expectations for the $ 10.95 version. What a letdown. First, portion size is about the same. The sauce had no smoky flavor at all. Meat was hard and very overooked. It did have 3 shrimp and 1 scallop which I’m guessing they think justifies the higher price and probably the English translation of the dish would be «Seafood Jja Jang Myun.» Oh and when my dish arrived, it had a strong fishy smell. Another letdown was not getting any banchan with the Chinese/Korean dish — usu. kimchi and yellow pickles. Overall 2.5 rounded to 3 b/c I’m feeling nice. At least the servers were somewhat friendly and attentive.

Very Good! Gosh, I don’t know how many times I must’ve driven by this place(as a RetroFitness member and Best Buys shopper) but, when I finally decided to notice this place, I had a very pleasant surprise & satisfying dinner. Service was good, order came out timely, the food was the correct temperature and delicious. As Chinese restaurants go, it was«just a tad» on the high side(price), but very good. Also, the interior is quiet/intimate and comfortable.

Pros Hubby said the wings were really good. They have the jumbo deveined shrimps Cons The portions for a large portion were small Barely had any veggies in it The price Not flavor full Over 10.95 $ for a dinner shrimp fried rice is nuts! We spent 35 $ for a pork fried rice, shrimp fried rice, honey wings and some chinese donuts… I have never paid this much for that at any of the many many places i have been to. I will drive to norcross to my favorite chinese spot. I will not be back.

Delivery order for 2 adults and 1 child: $ 55.90 Firstly, I’m a Singaporean and know what Malaysian food tastes like. So when my boyfriend pulled up their online menu to order the delivery, I was very excited to get a little taste of home. To be fair, I’ve individually rated my review of the phone call, the bill & the food to explain why I gave it a 2* overall Phone Call: The guy was very pleasant and he repeated the order back to me for accuracy. [5* for the phone order] The Bill: I asked for Sambal chilli as a condiment. He said he only had hot sauce and decided to give me 2 small containers of the store bought kind and failed to inform me that I would be charged $ 1 for it! There was no disclaimer on the charge especially when it wasn’t even freshly prepared [1*] $ 10.95 Masaman Curry: Tasted really good but had 3 times more potatoes than chicken. The fried rice that he said had eggs, soy sauce and veggies just looked like brown rice. [3*] $ 4 Curry Puffs: Very flaky and delicious. They need to say it’s vegetarian. I was expecting the usual chicken and egg in it which was missing. [4*] $ 3 Mayalsian Pancake: Roti Canai is known for its light, fluffy, flaky & crispiness. This had none of the above but was chewy and thick. The guy said it came with a little ‘dipping’ sauce. That’s sad because the authentic version should be a curry with potatoes and possibly even chicken in some stores. What I got was about 2oz of watery sauce. [1*] PS — The best Roti Canai is still at Penang’s Restaurant on Buford Highway. $ 12.95 Cantonese Pan Fried Noodles: Great that the crispy noodles came separately. Loved the Shitake mushrooms. Too many snow peas/corn. The sauce overall was good. 4* but still not worth $ 12.95; [so overall 3*] $ 10.95 K. L Mee Goreng: The greatest dissapointment. The guy had reassured me that the KL Mee Goreng had tomatoes/cucumbers & was authentic exactly like the«Mamak» stalls in Malaysia. There was not 1 sliced cucumber. Very generous on the large pieces of shrimp. But that still couldn’t make up for the taste which was pretty bland and some parts bitter. I’m used to Authentic Mee Goreng with ground mutton and a slight touch of spiciness. This was very disappointing. [1*] For those that have no expectations of authentic Malaysian cuisine, you may be happy with their food as it is decent. But if you’re looking for an authentic experience, it sure is lacking and disappointing. I would stick to Penang’s restaurant for a bit although I will probably give them a 2nd chance in a month or 2 as a dine in customer.

I made a delivery order, and before I even tasted the food I was happy with ordering. The man I spoke to was easy to understand and was very clear in what information he wanted from me in terms of address and order. He also repeated my order back to me twice just so there were no mistakes. It was efficient, easy, and painless(which is much different from some of the other Chinese delivery I’ve tried around here!). My order arrived 45 minutes later, just like I was told. The food was stored in the best packaging and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the dinner special. I will definitely be ordering again.

From start to finish we enjoyed our visit. I don’t know what it was about the water here but it was super crisp and refreshing. They don’t offer refills on sodas so there was no way I was going that route. The beef and broccoli with steamed rice was really good. It was a great size, easily enough for two moderately hungry people. The spring rolls were good and super hot temperature wise… But also incredibly tiny. They were only 3 dollars so it wasn’t a total rip off. I honestly liked this better than Panda Express. I like Pandas prices better but with getting water and splitting a dinner we got out for under 20 dollars. I can definitely recommend this place.

I like to come here to Lee’s Golden Buddha 7 whenever Asian cuisine comes to mind at Cobb county. It is located on Cobb Parkway near Best Buys. Recently I came with some friends who also enjoyed their dinner here. We were warmly greeted at the door as we entered the restaurant. With a great smile, our waitress gave us the menus and brought our hot teapots and drinks promptly. This is a catch-all Asian restaurant where they serve Chinese, Malaysian, Thai and Korean dishes. We started off our dinner with the following dishes: * Malaysian Pancakes(Roti Canai) This was a mid sized light pancake appetizer served with vegetable curry as a dipping sauce. It had some small cubes of potatoes as well. It would be better if the curry was less watery and has more coconut cream in it. I ordered two of this appetizer to share among the four of us. Our waitress was kind enough to cut the pancakes into nice triangles with her shears as we did not have any knives nearby. The next few dishes comes with steamed rice. We did the family style and shared all our dishes together. * Orange Chicken This was a delicious dish of lightly battered chicken blended with a burst of fresh citrus orange glaze sauce on the top. There were some carrots and peas cooked with a few pineapple cubes to combine with the orange slices. It really enriched the sophisticated citrus flavor even more. Surprisingly, it was not too sweet and the citrus blend was wonderful. * Beef With Eggplant The eggplant was sauteed with the chef’s special sauce together with the beef slices. It was a hearty dish and the beef was tender and not overcooked. The eggplant was cooked just right with the chef’s special brown sauce and it was delicious. * Cantonese Pan Fried Noodles We had an assortment of seafood with our Cantonese Pan Fried Noodles dish. On top of the egg noodles, there were shrimps, squids and scallops combined with shiitake black mushrooms, broccoli, carrots, baby corns, napa and green peas that made this dish a favorite among my friends. At first I could not see the noodles because there were too much sauce all over the dish. However, the sauce had made the noodles softer and easier to chew on. * Malaysian Curry Noodles(Laksa) This was a delicious bowl of noodle soup with shrimps and tofu for protein. If you want to wake up all your senses, you can ask for extra hot sauce. It was a spicy bowl of soup and we specifically asked for vermicelli as our choice of noodles. It came out exactly like we wanted. Our waitress also brought out a side dish of hot sauce in case we wanted it spicier. I thanked her for it and passed the hot sauce around. We had extra little bowls to share this noodle soup that was really good. I did not need a fire hydrant to cool off from the spicy soup either. I tricked my tummy with more noodles than soup since the tummy is sensitive to spicy food. * Stirred Fried Green Beans I had this dish on another occasion and it was stirred fried with no protein or meat added($ 13.95). Although the dish was good, I think it was overpriced for just a plain vegetable dish. I discussed it with the waitress and she brought back the same ticket to me. Lesson learned here is to ask for the price of a certain dish that is not on the menu, no matter how simple the dish is. I have been here several times for lunch and dinner. The lunch are around $ 6 to $ 10 and it comes with your choice of soup and chicken wing. Lunch meals are reasonably priced and you will not leave hungry. The dinner menu has a longer selection to pick from. The dinner prices range from $ 11 to 14 an entrée. Some has seasonal pricing on it, so ask before you place your order. The atmosphere is cozy and it has a casual setting that is a bit outdated. There is a room in the back if you choose to have a private party here. The waitresses are very friendly. Most Asian restaurants are not very good with the service and I did not expect much from here. There is free parking outside the restaurant but I usually park a little further down. I like to come by here whenever I am in the Cobb area. I know my tummy will do the happy dance after a good dinner here. Unilocal 72⁄365

I have been here several times and I have never been disappointed. Notice that the name of the establishment indicates that Chinese food is served here. This is true however, so is Malaysian food. Usually some of the servers are Malaysian and so is one of the chefs. My better half, therefore, orders items that are not even on the menu. While she chats with the the staff(in Chinese) I get to eat all this awesome food unbothered. Perhaps, knowing she is from the«old country» matters. Having been exposed to authentic flavors here and in Malaysia has enlightened my palat. Even I(the round eye) can tell the real from the fake. I like the Hokkien mee, char kway tow, and all of the soups esp. Laksa(hotter the better). No matter how hot the food is just a little hot tea will wash it away. Never have a cold drink with hot food. I have never had that lingering thirst after eating here(MSG). I do not believe it was used in the dishes I ate. I have never tried any of the other items on the menu. 46⁄100
