I held off going here due to the lower star rating, but I loved it. I got chicken Goya combo and my husband got spicy chicken. We were both very satisfied. I recommend it.

Honestly, the only word I can think of to sum it up is «unremarkable». I’ve had lots better but I’ve had lots worse. It was food.

I think this was the worst tuna roll I’ve ever eaten. I eat a lot of sushi and wanted to try this spot because it’s close to home. That was a bad decision. The tuna was a gooey paste instead of being chunks of tuna. The wasabi was old and had darkened edges like it had been exposed to air for a long time. The owner was glaring at me, so I choked down the roll wishing I had more water to wash it down with. I almost couldn’t swallow it. My daughter’s yakisoba tasted OK flavor-wise, but the noodles were undercooked and starchy. I won’t be coming back. That was an awful experience.

All the food here is so good, I haven’t gotten anything i haven’t liked here. Their cherry blossom roll is delicious as is their California roll! Love them!

DONOTEATHERE. If I could give this place negative stars I would. I’m a pretty laid back guy. I’ve never used Unilocal to review anything. I let small errors slide all the time. People are human and can make mistakes. Receiving some of the rudest, worst service in my life from this sad excuse of a restaurant changed that real quick. I came in to get take-out dinner with my wife. I ordered the chicken breast teriyaki, she got beef teriyaki and a 6 piece gyoza to share. We got home and realized they had forgotten my chicken teriyaki. I called and told the girl I was frustrated I didn’t get my food. She laughed pretentiously and said it happens all the time when they get busy. Really??? Here’s the fun part, there were only 2 teenage girls eating their food the entire time we were there. Busy??? What a joke. She didn’t even offer to compensate me next time I came in. I told her we wouldn’t ever be back. It’s ok… they won’t be in business long anyway

I go here occasionally for the sushi, which I love. Fast and good quality. I’m no sushi expert, so I try to stick with what I know, and try something new each time I go. This week I got a new special, unagi, salmon rolls and last but not least. California rolls. When I ordered the California rolls, the cashier and sushi chef exchanged a look and scoffed. Yes. How typical. A young white girl ordering California rolls. Their judgment took me aback as I was not expecting that reaction. Seemed inappropriate. I don’t want to eat somewhere where I do not feel comfortable ordering what I like.

I was so excited to try this place after hearing great reviews from friends. Unfortunately, there was a bit of a mixup in ordering our meal. I ordered a bento with sweet and sour chicken, and due to some food allergies, asked to sub a tuna roll for the Cali and two egg rolls instead of the gyoza. I was expecting an upcharge, but not the $ 8 one that ended up on my bill(the equivalent of buying both those items separately). They also did not give me the miso soup that«comes» with the bento as per the menu. This, along with the tiny portion of the chicken and complete lack of service, didn’t really seem to be worth the $ 25 I spent. When I enquired about the miso they told me that you have to ask in order to get it. Apparently the fact that it’s included in the menu wasn’t good enough. I had such high hopes but I probably won’t be going back :(

THE best teriyaki in Snohomish… Everett or anywhere in this area. Plate always comes out sizzling hot and their sushi always wows. Love the service too.

I’m going to go ahead and say the worst teriyaki I’ve ever had. The meat tasted funny, the 4 California rolls that came with it were not so fresh, and the portion was tiny. The rice comes separate from the teriyaki, so I just ended up eating plain rice. The restaurant smelled like a backed up sewer as well. I’m almost sure I’ll have food poisoning later. Avoid.

Stopped at this teriyaki stand in Snohomish and I want to smack the chef he does not understand the term food allergy. Woman taking my order kept ordering me the items I had questions on. Then her daughter came out to answer my question about food allergy. Apparently you can have prawn tempura with veggies but not vegetable tempura at this place. When asked if I could substitute something for California roll they said no. I explained I was allergic to shellfish that walks they didn’t seem to care. Won’t be coming back.

The teriyaki is good… But the service sucks. I called they answered, and then hung up on me. Twice. By the time I ordered my teriyaki the super Asian lady tried to tell me that pork and beef combo is not an option, and that«this is a teriyaki place»… I just repeated myself a few more times and ended the sentence with ‘teriyaki’. That seemed to work just fine. She then mumbled to herself about me while on the phone with me. Like I said, teriyaki fine. The young guy that works there, really nice, the super Asian lady… Probably should be fired for lack of customer service.

I had the chicken yakisoba. It was great! lots of veggies that still had a crunch. there was teriyaki sauce by the register that you can add to your taste. I like having to add rather than getting a too saucy plate. I know i will be back to try the broccoli beef.

Always been good but portions are getting smaller and the prices are going up. Ordered take out and get home to find NOTERIYAKISAUCE! I called them and they wanted me to drive back(no) and just said«sorry». I tipped her two dollars to bag up the meal and then don’t eat half of it… disappointed to say the least.

Great teriyaki for the area. Hot plates are very hot. The flavor is really good. Best teriyaki place I have tried in Snohomish County.

This place is somewhat convinent because it’s the only place in Snohomish that sells sushi. However the service was horrible, it felt like a fast food joint, and the little boy who work there felt like he would rather go play marbles then serve me some water.

The BEST Teriyaki in the area. I heard the sushi was good, but I’m not a sushi person. Jennifer, the server, is super nice and friendly.

This is probably my favorite teriyaki place to go in Snohomish. The funny thing is, I like it so much because they offer a lot more than just teriyaki. They offer sushi(I’ve never tried theirs so I can’t comment), bento boxes, and a variety of different sizzling plates and entrees. The teriyaki chicken and salad here are pretty average as far as teriyaki joints go. All of the sizzling plates that I’ve tried are really good. They’re super hot when they come out(obviously), but its really nice that they stay warm the whole meal especially if you’re a talker or a slow eater. I usually get either the sweet and sour chicken or the kung pao chicken. They’re both really good, and the portions are big. The yakisoba is good, very garlicky though so be warned. I’ve also been happy with the gyoza. The couple who run the place are very nice. Iniitially the place was quite nice for a teriyaki joint, and its still decent, but I’ve watched some tears in seats/scuffs/damage build up over time and I wonder if they don’t have the money for maintenance. Its still decent inside and its not dirty though. All in all I like this place for the variety it offers, and I feel like this is a decent place to go if you have some people who don’t want straight up teriyaki. Their sizzling entrée plates are the winners in my opinion, while their teriyaki is just average. I would give this place 3.5 stars if I could, but I’ll give it 4 due to my fondness of the place.

I read the reviews and I thought I’d try this place. I really don’t recommend it. We ordered 4 sushi rolls and it took 45 minutes to get our order! The rice was very undercooked, it was literally crunchy. The salmon California we got was inedible because the fish tasted really fishy and was slimy. The tuna California was better but the tuna was squishy not firm like it should be. The double double roll would’ve been good if the rice was cooked. Overall it was a huge disappointment. The other food that other customers were eating smelled really good though.

Kami Teriyaki is quite tasty! Tucked away on the west side of the Snohomish Station shopping center it’s easy to find and you’ll find ample parking. The dine in service was friendly and quick. We ordered the spicy chicken teriyaki, the beef yakisoba, and gyoza. They sadly were out of gyoza, sacrilege I say! But I got over it and ordered egg rolls which turned out to be mighty fine. The spicy chicken teriyaki wasn’t spicy as far as I could tell so I had to add quite a bit of rooster sauce to spice it up myself. The beef yakisoba was super delicious with deep flavors. Both were served on sizzling hot plates which I think is pretty unique, most places don’t do that. I wish they had teriyaki sauce at the table because I like to add more of my own. Overall a solid place to go for your teriyaki fix, I will have to return to sample some sushi in the future.
