History

Established in 2012.

Skylight Farms, situated on the banks of the beautiful Snohomish River, was started by Jonathan and Petrina Fisher in late 2012. In the search to do something meaningful, we left our desk jobs and decided to grow the kind of food that should be on every table. Sustainable. Ecological. Ethical.

Since we started, we have experienced all the woes and joys that a farm can bring. From our well running dry and an 80 foot tree falling on our power lines to securing our first restaurant sales and selling out our CSA. There is nothing quite as empowering and humbling as growing your own food. We hope to inspire more people to eat with the seasons and support our local food economy.
