Randy DJ’d our wedding back on June 27^th, 2015 and we couldn’t have been happier! He was VERY accommodating to all of our little requests and was extremely adaptive to the flow of the evening even when we had to move the dance floor indoors for about a half hour while we got some «good luck on your wedding day» rain. In addition to preparing our custom song list, he also played his acoustic guitar and sang for our guests before and after the ceremony. Exactly what we wanted!
Leading up to the big day, he worked very closely with us (and the event coordinators) to make sure all the «i“s were dotted and all the «t“s were crossed. He made sure we were all on the same page and it made the day go very smoothly. Our expectations were surpassed by his professionalism. Thank you Randy!

We booked JJ Entertainment for our July 5^th Lake Tahoe wedding and had a great experience working with them. The online tools are cool, and we had a lot of fun picking out songs. We wanted to make a few changes to our songs the day before the wedding, and Owen (our DJ for the event) was there to help us out even though it was a holiday. I was nervous about booking such a big part of the wedding without getting to do a test run, so we were very clear about what we wanted. On the day of the wedding Owen got there with plenty of time to set up for both our outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. We had a small wedding with an even smaller number of people who wanted to dance, but Owen did a great job of getting the party started and played the songs we wanted all night. Everyone wanted to keep dancing and celebrating when our venue time was up, which was a great feeling.
All in all they were great to work with, communicated with us very well throughout the lead up to the wedding and on the day of the wedding, and made everything fun and stress free. I would definitely recommend them and hire them again!

I booked JJ Entertainment for our wedding on 6÷8÷2013. I believe the company has changed over the past year to year and a half. We had Owen as our DJ and unfortunately, I would not recommend him for another wedding. I even had guests come to me after and say they would have picked a different DJ and he wasn’t very good. Here are a few example of what happened.
1. I specifically asked to NOT have the father/​daughter dance cut short. My Dad wanted the whole song played. I told Owen this on day before the wedding and he proceeded to cut the dance short the day of my wedding.
2. My husband requested he play a song (that was on our must play list) dedicated from Dave to me. Owen never played the song. Not even as the last song of the night.
3. I’m not sure Owen ever read my timeline. He was asking me during the wedding if I was sure I wanted to do cake cutting and then dances and he thought it would have been better a different way. This should have been discussed prior to the wedding instead of while I was eating dinner.
4. He made an awkward speech after all of our toasts were done.
5. Once Dave and I were on the dance floor, I had Dave go and ask Owen to switch immediately to only top 40’s stuff (he was playing early 90’s music at the time) He didn’t change for the next 5 songs. I then when up to him myself and asked him to only play top 40’s dance music. I don’t think I heard any top 40’s music on my wedding day. He stuck to the early 2000’s. The most recent song played at the wedding was «Call Me Maybe» which was a hit in 2012.
6. Guests of the wedding went to him to request songs and each one we were told her didn’t have.
I know good DJ’s are hard to come by and they are hard to book because you can’t test them out. I was a pretty laid back bride and didn’t request much, but the few things I did request weren’t met.
I did e-​mail the Gary (the owner) after the wedding with all of this and he said he would talk with Owen and get back to me. That was a week ago and I haven’t heard anything.
The one positive to Owen was he brought Dave and I drinks from the bar during pictures! I was super happy about that!

We used JJ Entertainment for our wedding on June 15 and were set up with Randy as our DJ. We couldn’t of been more happy with the service he preformed for us as MC and DJ during our reception. He had every song we wanted and made our reception very special. A big thank you to Randy for a great memory and as an added bonus he even but together a mix cd of our songs that we used for our first dance, father daughter, groom mother dances.

I never thought I would find someone so easy to work with, so versatile and understanding as Randy, with JJ Entertainment, to be our minister and our wedding DJ! He was always so nice about reminding me that I needed to give him information and kept me in line. We normally listen to rock music, like heavy metal, so we didn’t have much music that we knew of to dance to. We talked about what we liked and didn’t like in general and he came up with a great music list for the reception. He also was very patient in working with me and my father in getting the ceremony music together which took me a while to figure out what I wanted exactly. There was also a last minute change that he was able to work with and everything turned out perfect! He genuinely cared about my wedding day and it showed with everything he did. The ceremony went better than I could have imagined. We didn’t know exactly what we wanted but my husband and I spoke with him and he got a feel for what we would like and wouldn’t like and came up with a very beautiful ceremony! I would recommend him to anyone throwing any type of event! So great to work with, very flexible, knowledgeable, and I would love to work with him again!

JJ Entertainment provided DJ services for our wedding in South Lake Tahoe at Edgewood. Gary and Adam were an excellent pair!
The wedding ran like clock work, and they were very helpful planning out some last minute but complicated planning on a surprise appearance by Darth Vader! Their pacing and timing was excellent.
The playlist gave them a good idea of our tastes. They played a good set of music, everyone enjoyed themselves. And they brought us in when necessary for input which worked out perfectly. Rest assured, you’ll be in good hands.

We used JJ Entertainment for a Photo/​Screen Booth for our wedding on Saturday August 21^st.
Suzanne Joy and Gary were awesome! They were so helpful in person, over the phone and over email to help get ready for the Big Day.
All of our guests LOVED the photo/​screen booth. It isn’t your typical photo booth. They set up a large interactive LCD screen onto a table and your guests select their names from the list presented on the screen. They can take as many photos as they want, leave you with a text message, or leave a video message.
They take photos in sets of 4 and they are printed right there for them.
A little over 1 week after the event, my husband and I received 2 copies of everything on CD (Suzanne even mailed my mom, out-​of-​state, a copy of her own which I thought was very thoughtful!)
We were cracking up laughing scrolling through all the photos, videos, and text messages.
I thought the price was reasonable for everything we got out of it and because of how much fun our guests all had!
**You can tell Suzanne and her team take what they do seriously. They went to the site the week before to test out the lighting, noise, shade, etc. They really took extra care to make sure our wedding was wonderul*

We used JJ Entertainment for our wedding in South Lake Tahoe and they were fantastic! Gary and Suzanne were some of the nicest people I have met. They have an online database where you can work on your play and do not play lists and save your work before finally submitting it. There are also online tools to plan the timeline of the ceremony and the reception.
After we input all of our songs and information, we had a very lengthy conversation with Gary and he had tons of helpful suggestions for us. We were planning everything ourselves and had a friend as our officiant and we were kind of clueless on how to have the day proceed. Gary had great suggestions on how to make the most of the day and have everything flow smoothly. We were also very impressed by his ability to predict other songs that we liked and disliked based on our play and do not play lists.
At the wedding itself, Gary and Suzanne were fantastic. They did the music for everything– the ceremony, cocktails, during dinner, and the dancing– and it was all fantastic. Our only very small complaint is that not all of our requested songs were played. A few that we really wanted during the dancing were played during cocktails and a bunch were not played at all. A few more were only played after we re-​requested them during the dancing.
However, overall, they were fantastic and I would wholeheartedly recommend them. They were just so nice and thoughtful, and the rates were very reasonable for the service they provide. We will remember two very thoughtful things they did for us as well.
First, our guestbook was not put out until later in the evening. Suzanne noticed that not many guests had signed it, so she started passing it around during the dancing for people to sign. I just thought that was so extremely thoughtful for the DJ to worry about guests not signing the guestbook! Second, they actually brought us a memento of the evening that they give to us at the end of the night that was also so thoughtful!
I highly highly recommend J J Entertainmnent for any wedding or event. We were so lucky to have them as our DJs.

These guys are GREAT!!! I cannot recommend them enough. We used them for our wedding and got exceptional service.
We met with Gary and Suzanne several months before our event to go over what we wanted. They were flexible with our several non-​traditional things (slideshow, belly dancer, korean fan dance, etc.) and seemed genuinely excited to work with us.
We were able to enter our playlist and organize our event via their website… they had every song you could want… and will add any song you want to their library.
Suzanne did the music for our cocktail hour and kept the flow going very weel and Gary acted as our MC… he kept everything flowing according to our timeline and gave very wise suggestions for the timing of everything. My husband and I just followed our already decided schedule of events for the evening and had a great low-​stress enjoyable evening with our friends and family.
Highly recommended to anyone considering a wedding in Tahoe. Book them early…
