Tahoe Wakebusters

I did a lot of price shopping for boat rentals in South Lake Tahoe before our week long vacation. We decided to do multiple days on the lake, and Tahoe Wakebusters was the best price and value, by far! They include water skis, wake boards, and a tube. Bobby and Jarod are super easy to work with, laid-​back, and personable. We will definitely rent a boat with them on our next Tahoe trip!

Had a great day out on the lake! We took out the cobalt and had the time of our lives. These guys are totally professional and made us feel comfortable about our first time renting/​driving a boat. Would recommend to anyone looking to have fun on the lake!

They were honest start to finish and when the weather wasn’t good enough for the boat they refunded that day for us bc they felt it was the right thing to do. That’s integrity you don’t see. Had a great experience with our ski boat rental! Owners were very flexible regarding pick up and drop off time as we decided to stay out 2 hours longer than originally planned. Rental included gas, tube, water skis and wakeboard.

My maid of honor found Bobby and she said it was really easy working with him; he was flexible about the time and activities from the very beginning. We had a great time on the boat! Bobby brought along tubing and wakeboarding equipment. Tubing is super fun, anyone can do it, ladies just be careful about losing your bottoms in the water! He also took us to an island where we hiked up and can jump into the water. My friend lost her phone and ID in the water, which put a damper on the party for a bit, but we found a hero who dove 25 feet down to get it (thank you Fred!!). Bobby is super easy going and fun, highly recommend him!

Just about as good as it gets.
I spent the morning calling around to the more prominent rental agencies and was striking out. They either didn’t have boats big enough, wouldn’t let me tow anyone behind, or wanted me to pick up the boat at some ungodly hour. On top of that, everyone was nickel and diming me, which was really annoying.
Enter the guys at Tahoe Wakebusters who made it so simple. Reserved the boat on the phone, arranged to have it delivered to a boat launch by me, and showed up to see Bobby already with the boat in the water waiting for us. They even included the toys and a full tank of gas.
Boat was in great condition outside of one seat that was a little chewed up. But it ran great!
We got back at the agreed upon time, Bobby helped us out, and we were on our way.
Seriously, the best boat rental experience ever.

We rented a boat from Tahoe Wakebusters for my bachelorette party and Bobby was the best driver ever! It was really tough to find a boat rental company that would provide a driver for a reasonable price and Tahoe Wakebusters was an exceptional value at $ 20 per hour for the driver. Well worth it! The rental fee for the boat was $ 500 for four hours, which is less than a few other marinas we called, and the first tank of gas was free! We took the blue and white boat you can see in the photos and there were 8 ladies plus Bobby with plenty of room for our bags and cooler. Bobby put the boat in at Castle Rock where we met him, loaded the boat, and set off for Chambers Landing for a drink. He is super knowledgeable about the lake and took us anywhere we wanted to go. The boat also had an iPod hookup so we could dance and jam our way around the lake! Bobby was so accommodating, patient and put up with all our bachelorette shenanigans. He had great recommendations for where we should stop and party/​drink/​swim like Emerald Bay and Camp Richardson. I can’t wait to get back to Lake Tahoe and rent from Tahoe Wakebusters again!

We rented a boat for the day for my best friend’s bachelorette party and we had the most amazing time! Wake busters was the perfect company for the day. Bobby drove the boat and he was incredibly accommodating, nice, and patient with our requests. I would highly recommend this company and will utilize their services again in the future!
