F’ing horrible!!! They don’t know how to take an order, asked for no mayonnaise, covered it with mayonnaise and burnt the hell out of the turkey teriyaki burger! Then just laughed when I complained about it. Really immature disgusting little creeps working there.

I decided to call and see what the hrs of operation were since it was a holiday(Christmas evening). And a few places were closed or closing early. Anyways, the girl answers the phone and I ask what the hrs of operations were for today. Apparently I used to many large words in 1 sentence. Her response was«yes» … Yes to what? I asked for the hrs they were open. She then said«yes we are open». So then I ask another way«when do you close?»… The girl then says«we are open» … So I’m thinking maybe they are always open? Maybe 24⁄7? Maybe I sound crazy for asking when they close. So I ask«oh are you guys a 24hr restaurant?» … And the girl hangs up on me. All I wanted to know was what time they would be closing on Christmas evening.

This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star. We ordered food to go. Sitting at the pick up window & the girl is waiting for the food to be made, so she takes a bucket with a towel to clean chairs & tables. I’ve worked in the industry many years & concerned about my food so I’m curious to see if she’ll wash her hands… And she does not! She goes to grab our food, bags it & brings it to the window, my boyfriend says were you just cleaning? Then touched our food? She acted so lost. & he asks for our money back. She sends the manager over who is even worse. She defends her cleaning & touching our food! She says that stuff is sanitary. I said after you clean you are supposed to wash your hands! After you touch money you are supposed to wash your hands, also the corporate wouldn’t be happy with that, she responds with were not corporate. Are you serious? Just the fact that she was defending something that a manager should KNOW is ridiculous. I highly recommend you to take your money elsewhere to a place that cares about your health & customer service. You allowed her to do that & argue with the customer… Food inspector should check up on this place.

Just ordered a couple of things from here, one being the All Natural Burger. I ordered a single, with the only thing different being that I asked for bacon added. I get home, take a bite, open up the bread — and there is no patty. Yes, no patty. They served a cheeseburger, without the burger. Two pieces of bread, vegetables, but at least the strips of bacon I asked for were included. I took it back immediately, of course, expecting some type of compensation for my time wasted. Nothing was offered. The cashier LAUGHED when I told him my problem. He thought it was funny. This place either employs literally the stupidest individuals on the planet, or somebody thinks it’s funny to prank their customers. Either way, avoid this hole in the wall. I’ll be reaching out to corporate tomorrow.

I wanna start out by saying I absolutely love carls jr. I think their customer service is usually on point(only second to in n out as far as fast food customer service goes.) this particular carls jr however, is another story. The customer service was terrible and they were very rude. That wasn’t the worst part, the worst part was the stores cleanliness. It was absolutely disgusting. There was trash and crumbs on every single table. The floors were completely stained black in the area by the beverage machine. The place also smells like the inside of a restroom. I decided to just try an enjoy my food. They also messed that up. My double western cheeseburger was terrible. The bacon tasted very funny, even my friend agreed the burger was off. I threw it away and didn’t even wanna ask for a refund. I Will NEVER return to that carls jr again. I can only imagine how the back looks(where the food is stored and prepared) hopefully no one gets sick from eating at that disgusting poor service establishment.

This is the worst and dirtiest place ever. Me and my family stopped here to sit down and eat the employees are rude and it looks like no one has cleaned the floors, tables and chairs in weeks there’s also unknown stains on the chairs. It also smelled like pee. I will never come back to this place again.

This is usually the case at this particular carls jr. The good always sucks and the employees typically always have attitudes. I guess what happens in typical fast food establishments.

Last time I came here I spoke to the manager concerning the incident in my food. He said he would fix the problem so I thought I would give them one more chance. Went in today and bought the jalapeño chicken fillet lettuce wrapped and ones again when I looked at the burger i saw nothing but a pice of lettuce and ranch. Really? Stupid. Well I contacted the corporate office and will definitely never visit again.

The food at this carls jr is pretty good. The service is very hit or miss but they always mess up my to go orders almost every single time. Make sure you check your bags when going through the drive through, besides that this location is not that bad.

This is THEWORST Carl’s JR in all of San Diego. Every time, no exaggeration, every time we go to this location, our order is messed up or we are treated poorly. Usually both. I am very allergic to the juice in onions, I always advise them of this when I order my teriyaki burger with no onions. They always forget and take them off last minute. I can always tell(yes, that sensitive to them). My husbands food was messed up the past 3 times in a row… And the last time I went I was treated horribly on the drive thru by a female employee. She was likely in her early to mid 20’s, Caucasian, dark hair and larger build. She was rude, snooty, passive aggressive AND screwed up my order 4 times at the speaker. I got so frustrated with her I just took my food and left. Needless to say… I was back a short while later with the food. This location sucks.

If I could give this place zero stars I would! I live close by and have gone here 3 or 4 times. Every time I’ve used the drive thru and it always takes at least ten minutes and its never busy. This morning was my last straw. It was 7:20am when I entered the drive thru. I was running a little behind so I decided to get breakfast instead if make it at home. I knew exactly what I wanted and ordered right away. There was one car in front of my waiting at the window. By the time that car had paid and got their food it was 7:36am. By this point I was mad because it should not take 15 min for the drive thru. When I get to the window I asked the guy if there was a reason it was taking this long. He said«no». Unsure of his answer I ask, «no there’s no reason it’s taking this long?» And he did not respond. He handed my debit card back to me and handed me my order. Not thanking me or saying anything. I said to him«the least you could do is apologize for the wait» and he turned around and walked off. The people working here are total idiots. Then when unwrapping my breakfast sandwich the biscuit was dry hard and burnt. I looked at the receipt to see if it had the managers name on it because I was going to call, and I notice they gave me a senior discount. I am 24! Not that I’ll turn down a discount, but this just proves how stupid the employees are. I will never return to this location and I’ve already contacted the corporate office about this. I hope the get shut down. Also why is there a sign that says they are open 24 hours when they close at 9pm???

Worst service in the world! These workers act like they owe you something! No politeness, no greetings, no ‘hi how are you?’ I stopped by this morning to get some breakfast. I went through the drive thru… I ordered the sausage egg and cheese biscuit… why in the hell did I get a freakin smoked sausage sandwich??? The 50 lb girl at the drive thru either doesn’t understand English or she’s too preoccupied by other stuff! I was the only person in the drive thru… How complicated is a sausage egg and cheese combo? I even mentioned that it was the first combo on their damn screen! She didn’t give me a reciept. After getting to work in Mira Mesa, I open my bag to find the mess. I called and spoke to a Marisol? I said«Am I speak to the manager please» she said«I’m in charge, who is this?» Ok… I didn’t ask for the person in charge because that person is probably at the same level at the drive thru operator! So, no, I don’t want to speak to the ‘person in charge’ I want the manager, then she says«well, the manager won’t be here until tomorrow» I explained how my ordered was screwed up and she said«oh, the girl probably got confused and gave you the wrong order, come over and we’ll exchange it for you!» ok that’s why I didn’t want to speak to you in the first place. I gave her my contact information so the manager could contact me. I’m not going back. They’re unprofessional, they don’t take 10 seconds to double check orders(especially if I was the only person at the restaurant ordering!) I will ask for my money to be mailed to me when the manager calls me tomorrow! I’m not wasting gas and efford for idiots.

I’ve been to this one quite a few times but it was drive through. The food is what it is. My daughter always gets chicken stars and I get one of the turkey burgers. The food isn’t great but it isn’t bad. Today… my daughter wanted to go inside to eat. NEVER going back to this place. The booths have holes and are worn out. The walls are beat up and have SAUCEALLOVERTHEM. The bathroom is SO gross. The floors were sticky. You could see layers of dust on the light fixtures. If this is what the dining area and bathrooms look like… I can’t imagine what the kitchen conditions are. The woman who took our order may think she’s being really nice but it comes off as insincere and forced. DONOTEATHERE.

The honey mustard chicken sandwich is OK, although it does not satisfy a person who didn’t have breakfast and is eating this for lunch. Their chicken quality is not very good, and the sandwich was somewhat cold when I bought it through the drive through and ate it on the parking lot.

I come here all the time, usually around 12. It gets busy, but I always get my food hot & ready. I usually don’t have to wait a very long time. You fill your drinks, and if you order in they bring you your food right to the table and won’t give you hassle if you make them go back to get more ketchup(: This is one of my favorite Carl’s Jr’s to go to. My quick lunch favorite meal: Spicy Chicken sandwich plain w/only cheese, criss cut fries, and a drink. Always cooked to perfection, and it’s a dollar menu sandwich so I save on that.

So, I go for breakfast because it is close to where I am dropping off my daughter. I ordered a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit meal, but asked for no cheese. I asked for it large, with a Coke. I then had to repeat it because she didn’t get it all down — didn’t realize it was that complicated. The order total on the screen says $ 3.48, but she says it is $ 4.41. I will assume it’s because I asked for a large and she hadnt put it in the system yet. I get to the window, and get no receipt for my purchase. And then, when I get home, I realize my sandwich has egg and cheese, and no sausage. The biscuit was rock hard, and the hash browns were cold. Maybe that receipt had a survey on it, and thats why she didn’t give it to me — because she knew they sucked already.

If I could give less than 1 star, I certainly would, this place deserves LESS! Terrible Service… VERYLONGWAITFORYOURFOOD… Just Nuts! Went here on Christmas Eve evening, the drive-thru was quite busy and the line of cars was not moving at all. We sat and waited, and waited and waited and hardly moved at all. After almost 30 minutes of waiting in a line of cars, I was done, and wanting to leave. Unfortunately, I had no escape as cars were behind me too. When I got to the window, I could see only 2 employees working inside, and one of them was taking orders at the counter. This was crazy to be about the only restaurant open on Christmas Eve and to have only 2 people working… what was the manager thinking? Better yet, where was the manager… if they were open and shorthanded, the manager should have been there working. I was so upset and frustrated when I reached the window, I just drove out without my order… Well, you would think I would have learned… But, I came back here on New Years Eve around 3:30PM… again, the place was quite busy and only 3 people working. The lines were moving slow again, so I came inside to order. Not a bit better inside, I was pretty much put on «hold» again. The girl working the drive-thru was very busy doing many things at once. But, as she spoke with the other girl(craziest hair style, blond hair with hot pink or blue in it… crazy) doing the food prep, we noticed the girl preparing the sandwiches was putting on and taking off the cheese and meat patties many many times for no apparent reason. Each time she would lay the food onto the bare metal counter surface. After she didn’t this a bunch of times, we were disgusted with this practice and decided to leave. As we left the drive-thru girl apologized for the wait and wished us a good day. Obviously, this was a manager problem… the management did put on enough staffing. The business volume was much heavier than staff could handle. Management should have BEENWORKING to back them up, and call in more help as needed. They should have called in the manager to work… wonder if they would have shown up on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve? After the problem on Christmas Eve, you would have thought they would have had more staffing for New Years Eve… but, they did not. Very poor customer service!

Was craving a burger so I figured I’d stop by Carls Jr… I have the option of driving down the street to this location or going to the one a few miles away in Lemon Grove… I hadnt been to this one so being closer I figured I’d give it a shot. FAIL!!! Fries were cold and tasted like old oil. Soda was flat-Coke. Burger wasnt too bad. Never again will I go to this location.

I came here to try their new Southwest Patty Melt. I would not say this is a true patty melt, but more Carl’s version. It is kinda funny because they slap on some jalapenos, and what they call a Southwest sauce, and call it a Southwest Patty Melt. The melt was okay. I had it with out the sauce because I was sure the base of the sauce included mayo. The bread was not as crunchy as it should of been, and it was not rye bread, which patty melts are traditionally made from. It had good flavor and the grilled onion were okay, but it did not taste like a patty melt. The fries however tasted like potatoes that had been fried in oil. No really, they did. They were good too. Inside of this location is in need of a face lift. Many of the seats are in need of repair. The tables had grim stains on them. A little TLC would go a long way. I noticed a lot more people going through the drive through, rather than eating inside. Also, I noticed fries on the floor and in the corner of benches. That is an invitation for critters you do not want to see. Everything from the service to the food was okay, but given there is a nicer and cleaner location nearer my home, I think my future visit will be there.

It’s a fast food restaurant so I can’t really go too crazy. They were fast though, my food was hot, everything was correct, and they gave me extra dressing when I asked. I’m a happy camper :) Better service than I’ve had at a lot of places in San Diego, in my opinion.
