The only place I bring my vehicles to get oil changes and smog checks. Archie has great customer service makes you feel like you’ve known him for years. Had trouble passing smog with one vehicle but Archie diagnosed and told me step by step what to fix myself. Next day brought it in and passed no prob. I’ve sent family, friends, and coworkers here for both oil changes and especially smog checks. They’ve all come back to me praising his work. You won’t be disappointed. My wife told about this place so I decided to give a shot. I was Very pleased with the service. The shop was very clean and very organised. The service was Very professional and the mechanic was very courteous. Definitely recommend this shop to everyone I know!

Came here by accident since I needed a repair on our van and I brought it to the shop next door (Petro). Everything worked seamlessly, Petro did the repair and dropped off my car to RCR for smog. Maybe I came in a good day (Tuesday) since my van was done in no time. The owner Archie is always super helpful and accommodating. I always have to wait a long time for smog checks so I’ll definitely bring our cars here.

Once again excellent customer service, quick and painless. Archie as always polite, courteous and gets you in and out in no time. He’s also open very early and late for your convenience. He does oil change too! That’s why I keep coming back.

A small family owned and operated business. They were nice and welcoming from the moment i walked in. I ask the lady at the front if i could use the Unilocal coupon on the app, unfortunately my truck was to big. However she said «don’t worry i will still give you the best price». She asked if i had a Unilocal account, i told her i did and their shop was the most highly rated, she said «thank you, it is because of people like you». Well i wasn’t fishing for a compliment but i liked what i caught. I have now had two cars smogged here and both times it was a pleasure.
So in closing a great small business who appreciates Unilocalers and values their business.
I recommend this for all you SMOG check needs and i will be a return customer.

This is an ok place to go if you are certain your car will pass the test. If you are worried that it will fail, do not go here. Go to Spectro next door to RCR. My truck failed the smog and this guy told me something different every time I talked to him concerning my drive cycle.

I’ve been going here for smog checks for a long time and the owner is always polite and very accommodating. Never a long wait.
Also he does other services.
It’s my go to smog place for my vehicles and now my go to for oil changes.

First timer here. Came in on a Monday around 9am and it was not busy at all. Archie (cool guy btw) offers competitive pricing on smog inspections in the surrounding area. My overall experience at RCR Smog Inspection has been extremely positive. Considering I was the only customer there at the moment he was able to get my car done in about 15 minutes. As he said himself, he tries to get customer’s vehicles in and out in 30 minutes tops. Whereas if I were to go to the smog station on the corner of Meadowbrook Dr & Paradise Valley Rd I would be waiting 1−2hrs before they can even start on my vehicle. Also, complimentary Nestle water is provided in the waiting area.

I had done my ‘shopping’ via Unilocal,& it seemed like RCR was THE trusted & affirdable place to go. Came in first thing in the morning, without an appointment to see if they had anything available for today. Was told it could be done right then & there, & without it costing an arm & 2 legs. Archie was able to get me in & out in 20 minutes, super quick & painless!

Wow! So I originally went to California Smog and got there at 7:04am when they open at 7am and there was already a 2 hour wait. But I’m so glad there was because I found RCR Smog inspection! Archie was awesome! Friendly, professional, courteous. I literally was in and out in like 10 – 15 minutes (not exaggerating!!) He keeps it simple and focuses on oil changes and Smog certifications. He was awesome and I’ll definitely be back!

Went on a Friday afternoon to get an oil change, and was not impressed with this business. I stood at the front counter for a few minutes before being acknowledged by a mechanic. I asked for an oil change, and was told they weren’t doing oil changes that day and that I should come back later in the evening or the next morning. I then asked if I needed an appointment, and was told no. I left confused and irritated. I took my business to California Smog Inspection, and they were friendly and efficient!

Needed a Star Smog for my Subaru, went in on a Thursday morning and luckily for me there was no line. Archie hooked it up as always and I was in and out of there in 15 mins. Honestly felt like only 10 mins with how friendly and efficient everyone there was. RCR is my go-​to smog station for sure.

That pretty sums up my 20-​something minute experience at RCR Smog Inspection. The guy that greeted me (Archie) was friendly and professional. I thought I was buckling down for a 30 minute test. Nope. 20 minutes flat. Surprising, since it was a Monday of the MLK holiday and you’d think there would be several cars waiting to do the same thing.
First one in. First one out. And, yes, I passed. Score for me!

Fast service, great experience, I was nice and comfortable in the waiting area. I arrived late morning and the temperature was perfect. I’ll be coming back next year with my truck.

They did a great job with the smog checks for both vehicles for my husband and myself. My only complaint (which I cannot reduce a star for) is that the only seating for waiting was so hot. If there is no A/​C then please put a fan in your waiting area. There was no place to wait outside to get any kind of breeze. We were there for quite a while because there were several cars and a truck in front of us. It was very uncomfortable. Other than that the service we received was very good and professional.

Went in for a smog inspection and Archie got me in and out quickly. He’s professional and honest. I will definitely use his services in future and recommend him to my friends and fam for their smog check needs.
