Perfect for nice weather and if your having to accommodate a large group of ppl. There’s something that everybody will find, even the picky eaters.

It was very clean, and had lots of outdoor seating. The food was amazing and the portions from the Fry Guy are HUGE! I went with a group of girls and I can honestly say 2 – 3 people can eat off an order of their specialty fries.

Deceptively strong chairs!!! As a man with a lot of inertia, and being known to throw my weight around… These chairs take a beating!

This is a cool addition to the burbs! I don’t know why I didn’t go sooner it’s less than 15 mins from my house! Finally got to check it out over the weekend for a BOTMUYE. It’s right on I-45 on the frontage road and it may be a bit tricky to spot depending on what side of town you’re coming from b/c of all the construction. I can imagine sometimes GPS doesn’t even take into account the construction and road closures. Once you pull in parking is plentiful. They usually have live music on weekends, covered patio seating outdoor and indoor seating by the bar area. There are real restrooms, not porta potties, which is great! There’s a lot of yummy food trucks to choose from. I ordered a burger from Black Garlic and got some yummy kimchi fries from OhMyGogi, both were delish. Prices vary for each truck! I spent $ 15 on a burger but only $ 7 for my fries, so it just all really depends where you eat and what you order. Oh and the Buzzles snowcone is delish, the ice is so soft, taste like you’re eating snow. The only complaint is the wait for some of the trucks. It took 25 mins to get a burger at Black Garlic and the line at Buzzles was insane. That was during lunch crowd on a weekend though. I hope this place sticks around for a while, not sure how it will do in the summer months when the TX heat sets in! We shall see, but for now I’m going to enjoy Bernie’s while I can.

This review is for Bernie’s Backyard and Buzzle, since it doesn’t have its individual biz page. I’m not from around here so please work with GPS database companies on better directing your customers to this location. Majority of my time was used on planning the trip and getting lost. I had no fun at the bar. It was not too busy during Saturday lunchtime. But there was enough people crowding around the bar. I must be an invisible Ninja; I couldn’t understand why the bartender purposefully skipping me. Was it because I was the only Asian there? Please signal your customers into an organized fashion. A suggestion to Buzzle: You have a great concept but please work more efficiently. There were about 6 families in front of me. I waited 20 minutes just to order a cup of coffee. Plus another 3 minutes for the Keurig machine to finish brewing. I’ll come back to check on this food truck park later. I look forward to see improvements.

Honestly has to be one of the nicest food truck venues/gatherings I have visited(and hopefully frequent now that all introductions of its whereabouts and offerings have been established). There is covered seating with plenty of wooden benches that can accommodate quite a crowd with the food offerings all circled round less than 20 paces away. There are also a few handfuls of non-covered benches and chairs if you want the full capacity to soak up that vitamin D. Noticed 4 decent sized television screens in the covered area that had the sports games running. Not to mention they have several portable heaters scattered for those coming during dinner time and the less warm weathered hours. Bar libation offerings are located up in the left building upon entering the backyard, you’ll also find bathrooms here in well kept condition. There was a whole outdoor wash station located near the snow cone truck on the right, so I am almost certain there are additional restrooms or they are really helping out those ravage eaters that tend to eat and wear their food. While eating there was amazing live music in the covered seating area, while a tad louder than expected as I felt like I may have been yelling at my companions that joined me, their music was great and just further added to the good times. Definitely look forward to my next visit!

We love Bernie’s backyard. We’ve been a few times and are working on trying something from every different food truck. We’ve had excellent service at each truck we’ve tried. They are very attentive and friendly and answer and questions we have. The bartender inside is very friendly and outgoing and was a joy to talk to. Bernie’s backyard is the first place I think of to go when the weather is nice. I love the outdoor and indoor seating and the bands on the weekend are wonderful as well.

A simple food truck court off of I-45N in Spring. Plenty of outdoor seating, much of it covered with an indoor bar. 6 food trucks mingle here. From what I tried, Black Garlic is fantastic, along with odd n ends from a few others. Everything else I had was on point as well. If you are not familiar with the area, it might be a pain finding the entrance from the interstate, and I would like it to be a little farther off the interstate, but what you going to do? The bar is beer and wine only, with a few frozen wine drinks. Beer ranges from mostly Karbach, with Southern Star Bombshell, and Lone Pint Yellow Rose. Along with your typical macros, so outside of cocktails, basically something for everyone on that end. That is it, just a cool place to hang out. Thanks again to Jamie A. for setting up the BOTMUYE.

Shrimp Gumbo, good sized and really fresh shrimp, delicious from Lyndley’s, Crawfish Pistolette pretty good, but I like mine served hot. Not the best bread pudding I have ever had, but good and again, I like mine hot. Overall, I think the temperature is due to the serving containers because Gumbo wasn’t very hot. All from Lyndley’s, so far. Prices are not bad in our opinion. Not fast food. Awesome place to bring entire family. We haven’t tried everything we want yet for tonight though. We will have to return with our Grandchildren. The live music was great, nice heaters around seating area, people all around with children and it was so cute to see them all dancing with the music. Nice night and time. As much as I like small rocks for landscaping, in a child’s hand, it can become a nightmare when they decide to see who can throw further. Hubby headed to Rustika for the Eggplant Fries. Pretty good and served with Ranch which he knew I would not be happy with, so he either asked for or it also came with marinara sauce, which was thick and pretty good. The Eggplant Fries are just a grown up version of Fried Cheese Sticks. I ate them though and did enjoy them. Overall, about $ 28 for the above including 2 bottled waters. Repeating, not Fast Food, we didn’t have to wait more than a couple of minutes though and they were busy, busy. Can’t wait until the Sweet Shop opens… Try it, they have a gem of a business. I like one of the comments I read from a vendor? We are not a bar. And, although I saw some pretty good looking drinks, and have Karbach’s Beer, the vendor? said a drink is to compliment or to be served in addition to a meal, not as a substitute. My kind of place. Free parking too.

I like the live music and setup. Plenty of parking and indoor seating. They have a full bar. Indoor restrooms. The seating however isn’t that comfortable. They have picnic tables, some regular tables and armed chairs, and the only unarmed chairs are at the bar. For us bigger folks we don’t like arms that dig into our legs.

I would have never thought that my favorite venue for lunch and dinner would be a food truck park, but that’s exactly where I go at least twice a week. Bernie’s is a one of kind food truck park in Spring. There’s 6 different food trucks plus Buzzle’s snow cones. Seating is available indoors and outdoors. They have a bar that serves Karbach beer and frozen drinks. Ample parking and indoor bathrooms are also a plus. Bernie’s has specials throughout the week like Taco Tuesday’s, $ 3 pint night, karaōke, and live music on the weekends. It’s a great place to hang out with friends or grab a bite to go. The trucks there don’t rotate out, but there are lots of options for all tastes. I’ve gone many times and still haven’t managed to try everything.

My first time coming here and the atmosphere is so great, it’s clean and welcoming. There’s variety of food trucks with different food types, which is great. I would definitely come here again with the family,

This place is a neat concept and kid friendly so will do well for sure! The good — food from Naked Fry was excellent I hear all food trucks here are good and I can believe it! Very clean and tidy The bad — beer prices high($ 10 for 2 bud light drafts in plastic cups) Difficult to get to with 45 construction. Limited restroom facilities! Overall a cool concept with interesting food options but keep the prices in-line with the concept and don’t get caught up in woodlands restaurant prices — I’ll be back for sure !

We have been here many times and are never disappointed! Every food truck has their own theme from chicken tenders and burgers to BBQ and Asian! All very yummy! Favorite is the burger truck and the wine/margaritas in the Bar.

Great concept, awesome place to eat, hang out and chill. There is a variety of food, provided seating areas(both indoor or out), a bar and a washing station. Parking is free, always a plus! I don’t know if there was free water or not at the bar but that would be great if that option was available. I was also wondering if it is always the same vendors present. It would be cool to switch out vendors every week or so. Highlights: Paradise Gogi: fries were just as good as OhMyGogi! Godfather BBQ: brisket was my favorite, it was moist and tender but not fatty Buzzles: sweet way to end the meal, the lady working was very sweet and helpful, she let us sample flavors.

What can I say, it’s something different, and I love different. Patio lights, large wooden porch, flat screen TV’s, beer, and all sorts of food. May have pulled 5 stars from me if the prices were a little better. My food from the BBQ godfather, had great flavor, but it was a little bit cold. No one likes cold meat. :( I can’t help but at least give 4 stars for thinking outside the box.

It’s a pain in the rear to find, but I guess that’s just how things are now with the roads being so screwed up. Anyhow, nice enough spot, plenty of parking. The indoor area is nice. Not as much room as I thought for patrons, so I can see where it’d be crowded if there were live music. My problem is the food trucks. They’re all really expensive. If I’m going to eat out of a truck, I don’t want to pay $ 15 for my lunch. It doesn’t feel right. Healthy options are tough to find, but they are available(especially from the Italian truck run by the guys from Lasagna House III). So… yeah, it’s OK. Not sure it’s worth dealing with the mess to get there, and it’s a bit too far out of my way to bother, really. And don’t bother at all on Sunday. Half the trucks are closed.

I hope this place succeeds. It’s nice to have some«city» in the burbs. They have ample seating including some indoor areas. Lots of hand washing stations, a place for live music. A nice variety of trucks to start with. I will definitely come back to sample some of the others that I have heard good things about.

I met my wife and a few of her coworkers at Bernie’s Backyard for lunch on Friday. We arrived around noon to find the seating area not crowded at all. Surprisingly, it was very comfortable sitting in the designated sitting area. There were ceiling fans going and there was a nice breeze blowing through. We ordered and split items from two trucks, Rustica Italian and Oh My Gogi. From Rustica Italian, we ordered the meatball sub and fried eggplant fries with mushroom aioli. All was made with the freshest of ingredients. The meatballs were packed with flavor from the different herbs and seasonings. The cheese was just the right amount, gooey but not overpowering. And the bread was just the right texture, not too soft but not too hard as well. This was the first time that I have ever had eggplant fries and they did not disappoint! They were hot(temperature) and just the right texture. The fries were cooked to perfection in my opinion, giving you the opportunity to dip them in the aioli without losing any of the breading or the eggplant. A Delicious experience!!! From Oh My Gogi, we ordered the Ramen Burger and OMG Fries. The Ramen Burger is a Gogi Burger served on a ramen bun. A Gogi Burger is Korean bulgogi, colby jack, lettuce, onion, cabbage, and cilantro. This burger was«off the chain», «out of bounds» delicious!!! I was a little apprehensive about eh ramen buns, but it worked. The outside texture was crispy with the inside being a little softer. I would highly recommend it! The OMG Fries had chunks of Asian chicken(you can order Korean beef as well on your fries), colby jack, onions, cilantro, spicy mayo, and sriracha. These fries could be a meal all by themselves. Each bite was a flavor train in your mouth. You had the spiciness from the mayo and sriracha, but some sweetness from the Asian inspired chicken, and then the overall flavor of the cilantro. These fries were outstanding! You cannot go wrong with either of these two trucks. The service was great, and the food was delicious!!!
