Hello! I am the owner of Bruster’s Real Ice Cream in Spring, Texas. Back in 2005, my family and I decided to bring Bruster’s from the East coast to Texas to spread and share our love for Fresh Ice Cream to our friends, families, and the community. Our mission is to give our customers a great personal ice cream experience that will be a memory that lasts for eternity. We believe that ice cream brings joy in life and reminds us that sometimes you just need to Treat Yourself!

I love Bruster’s. I frequented Bruster’s in Atlanta when I lived there, so I was happy to see them here when I moved to Houston two years ago. Their ice cream has nice density and the flavors are very flavorful. Oh… and one other important note… when the flavor calls for nuts… Bruster’s don’t skip or try to skimp… you really do get the nuts… you don’t get maybe one, two, or five if you’re lucky — in other words, you’re not licking endlessly wondering when you’re going to get a nut! The nuts are literally throughout the ice cream, whether whole or chopped. I’d have to say Bruster’s is consistently good, from state to state.

The ice cream is just «ok», nothing special — HEB Brand is just as good and a lot less expensive. The customer service is horrendous though — bunch of giggling high school girls that are more interested in their cell phones than taking an accurate order. Do not be surprised if you’re told they’re out of your ice team flavor only after you pull up to the window — or after you witness them using their fingers to help put errant scoops of ice cream back into cups or containers.
Save your money and stomach — go somewhere more hygienic.

Amazing service– I was weary with so many teens behind the window but everyone was so friendly and helpful! I am looking forward to coming back again soon. So many flavors, so little time.

The buckeye ice cream in a waffle bowl was delicious! The customer service was excellent! We went through the drive thru with two dogs and they gave our pups each a mini ice cream of their own with a mini dog bone in it! They appreciated the excellent customer service as well!

Hadn’t been here in years and decided to give them another try after fond memories of my first visit. I opted for the Birthday Cake ice-​cream in a cup and it was fantastic! Super sweet and cake like and even had parts that tasted just like cake icing. If your looking to satisfy your sweet tooth and are sick of the Fro Yo places, this is a must try. The girls working were also really friendly and helpful.

I know it’s winter, but sometimes you just get a craving for a good shake. I stopped by Bruster’s with a craving for a chocolate shake. Upon looking at the menu, I saw they had malts. I elected to go for the malt.
It took a few minutes to make, but it was worth the wait. The malt was awesome! During the summer this place has some long lines. The treats taste just as good in the winter!

How can you give this place less than five stars. You must be a negative soul if you rate this place less than five stars. Went through their drive thru for the first time last night with my son and the ice cream was awesome. I had cookies and cream my son and cookie dough. They served us these huge waffle cones with so much ice cream. Had a coupon buy one get one free which was a good deal. Although the ice cream was epic I believe ten dollars for two waffle cones would be a rip off. Glad I only paid for one and got the other free. The ice cream was very tasty. They stay open late too in case you want to add fat to your waist line on the late night tip. Customer service was great.

Mmmm! Thick, creamy ice cream that’s not too sweet… What more can you ask for in an ice cream spot?
Their waffle cone is spectacular and tastes clearly «homemade.» The small-​sized ice cream cone, featuring 2 scoops, is actually quite large if you ask me. I can get about ¾ through before I give up, but man do I enjoy every lick!
As for flavors, I adore their coffee ice cream! I do wish it had a stronger coffee flavor, but it still hits the spot when it comes to coffee ice cream.
The friendly service and drive-​thru also make the dessert experience more pleasant and convenient.

Bruster’s Real Ice Cream is one of my favorite places to eat ice cream. I always get the small waffle cone, which has two scoops of ice cream. They make the cones and ice cream in-​house and offer lots of flavors. The customer service is super friendly… must be all the sugar they consume! They have a frequency card. I started visiting last summer and am on my 2nd card already!

Soooo many great flavors and they are made fresh in the store!!! Finally found THE spot! I had a brain-​freeze drink, my kids got waffle cones, and took some pints home. What a great way to end the day! :)

We’ve tried it three times and it’s been good every single time! Everyone at the drive thru window has been super nice! We will definitely continue to go there for a treat now and then! My sons turning six and I plan on taking our family there instead of cupcakes… Something different but, again… soooo good. Prices are good and ice cream is fresh and creamy! Love it!!!

Nothing real special about this place, prices are the same as every other ice cream parlor, maybe even higher, the milkshake wasn’t real thick although it did taste good. They make all their ice cream there but upon further questioning it is a chain franchise, it just happens to be the only one in the area, as the girl told me «it’s more of a Northern thing.»
I wanted just one scoop of sherbet but she would only sell me a small size (for $ 3.50) which she said was two scoops, but actually came out to one scoop — it was a little pricey to say the least, I could have gone to HEB and gotten a whole container for that price.

You’ll get good ol’ fashioned HOMEMADE ice cream here with a variety of sundaes, banana splits, milk shakes, cones, no sugar added flavors, and much much more. I’ve lived in the area for more than five years and can’t tell you how many times I’ve driven by here. FINALLY, I decided to stop in and go through the drive-​thru.
The menu is overwhelming — in a good way — so much to choose from! They don’t have all the flavors every single day — the staples — vanilla and chocolate — of course are on there and then they switch out the other flavors every couple of days.
I decided on a two-​scoop cup of White Chocolate Oreos which is to die for! You get Oreo cookies in every bite and the ice cream is rich and creamy — oh so good!
It may have not been a good idea for me to come here — I’m going to end up coming here on a weekly basis and become a fatty foodie!

This place is great! First of all, they have a drive thru. Awesome! I also love how they are so patient if you are unsure of what you want. You can taste and taste and taste till your heart’s content.
My absolute favorite flavor is the White Raspberry Truffle. It’s so creamy and then laced with some raspberry jam that adds just the right amount of tartness to it. The dark chocolate pieces are a bonus :). The butter almond fudge is a very close second if you’re looking for something chocolatey without being too rich. The almonds are a great balance too.
Lately, in this heat, the ice cream melts super fast and everything gets messy, but Bruster’s solved that with their come holders! Super great idea!

This place has great ice cream and the service was excellent :) they offer samples to which I absolutely say yes and I order the Jamaican me-​crazy delicious flavor not to sweet at all, kids had the kids ice cream which comes with a dinosaurs cookie my boy and girl both had the same great flavor as well, hubby had a milkshake and he told me he love it so much he will be back for more, overall we where happy not expensive is cheaper then cold stone and basking robins and the best things is that is fresh :) a little far but they open late so I will be back for more.
One more thing they cater for all events.
