Decent pedicure. $ 30 for «premium pedicure». Nails were filed evenly and the technician took time to make sure the polish looked good (didn’t drip over, etc.). The massage that comes with it was okay, but could have been a little longer because you’re upgrading from a $ 25 pedi to $ 30 because of the massage and scrub. There wasn’t a scrub — but no big deal.
The place was pretty clean and updated within the past 5 – 6 years, I’d say. Nice reclining massage chairs. The technicians use gloves and everything looked very sanitary (I’m picky about that & of course don’t want to be getting a fungus from a nail salon –_​-​).
Overall, I’d probably go back, but there was nothing completely over-​the-​top that would convince me to absolutely return in the future.

The customer service was good — everyone was pleasant. But it is the day after my manicure and my nails are ¹⁄₃ grown out looking — they never painted the whole nail or to the full length of my nail either. The polishes were cracked, the one I chose was empty — and the woman told me to just put it back on the rack.

I’m giving them 3 stars only because they are the best in State College. In any other place that would be even less.
It is a $ 40 mani-​pedi. I do not know the name of my specialist (it started with T) and I think some of the other ones might have been better.
The pedicure was alright, but my soles were not smooth after it and some of the nails too long and uneven.
I still had calluses on my fingers and the nail polish was smudged around several of the nails.
It is an OK job but very far from perfect.
But the manager spoke good English and that is always a nice bonus.

I have had EXCELLENT customer service here so far & they haven’t messed up yet. I’ve only gotten a pedicure and gel nails but I plan on being a regular :).

This is an excellent nail salon. Upon walking in, I thought that I was in for a non English speaking awkward pedicure. Here, the technicians speak English very well and seem genuinely concerned about getting to know you. I got the basic pedicure which lasted over half and hour with nice soak time and great polish. I will be returning.

The nail technicians were friendly and the salon was clean. I had a mani-​pedi for $ 40 and I am pretty content with the job although the polish could have been a bit tidier and more lustrous, especially the pedicure.
They offer a variety of options for pedicures, including a $ 12 cut/​file and polish which I haven’t seen before at a nail salon. Then they have various levels of pedicures including massage and other treatments that get pricier.
I found the choices in polish colors to be somewhat lacking and would have liked to see more colors on the Essie and Opi racks.
There are many signs posted saying they prefer cash payment but you can use a card if your total is over $ 10.
Overall it was a pleasant experience. This was my first time visiting a nail salon in State College. I might try a couple other places before going back to see what else the town has to offer.

I am always very happy with the service I get here for the price. They are very clean, they have a nice selection of colors, and the technicians are very friendly and take the time to get to know you.

Great nail salon for State College. Got a manicure for $ 15. Didn’t have time for a pedicure, but they have a vast variety of pedicures starting at $ 12.
Upon entering the salon, I was immediately greeted by the staff. They asked what services I wanted and filled out a «service card» which clearly indicated the services I wanted. I thought this was good practice so that there is no confusion at any point. There were also signs clearly indicating other matters such as minimums on credit cards and pricing for services.
In terms of picking a color, the salon had a solid variety of choices from Essie and OPI. Unfortunately, I didn’t see a section designated for new colors, but I’m now thinking that they were blended in as the selection was all color-​coded.
My manicurist was extremely friendly. I usually have a hard time making conversation with my usual manicurist in New Jersey because she speaks limited English. At this salon, however, all of the staff members that I encountered during my visit spoke perfect English. My manicurist spent a good amount of time on my nails and painted them to near perfection. It also seemed like she was genuinely interested in getting to know me, but I am assuming this was a tactic used to get me to come back. Anyway, she did a fantastic job!
Overall, I would give this place five stars. I probably would never give a salon five stars in New Jersey because they usually rush too much, but you can’t beat a $ 20 mani/​pedi. Although this place is more expensive than what I typically pay, because of its quality service, I would totally go back if I was limited to State College.

This place did better nails than any of the other nail salons in State College that I visited. The nail techs were friendly and spoke very good English so they could hold a conversation well. They take their time and my nails always looked great. However, when I would go in for a fill, they would ALWAYS try and push the more expensive services on me, and when I would refuse, they did them anyway and charged me for them multiple times. My coworker reports the same thing always happened to her. I stopped going when I decided to stop getting acrylics and to do my own manicures, but it was pretty irritating to go in and always end up paying more than I should have.

I went here for a manicure and a pedicure in February over Valentines Day weekend. The man doing my nails was very polite however just two weeks after I got them done I realized how badly he messed all my nails up. He unevenly buffed my nails so they are not smooth and have weird ridges all over them. On top of that, he pressed too hard while cutting my cuticles and now I have a huge dented line in all of my nails that will take months to grow out and be clipped. I say it will take months because the dented line is so deep that it cannot be smoothed out. I am very disappointed by this service and will never be returning.
