Terry’s Cherokee Rv Service

My basement AC was serviced several times in Michigan and quit working once again this summer. Steve spent some time on the phone offering advice then squeezed me into his busy schedule. He found the problem and fixed it at reasonable cost. I had another awning problem that he didn’t get to, but he gave me parts and suggestions for fixing the problem myself. I will save up any further RV jobs and bring them to Cherokee RV when I come back to California. I’ve traveled all across the country and never had better service from people who actually know what they’re dong.

Richard and Steve are AWESOME!!! They figured out an electrical problem for me, when other’s tried to tell me there was no problem. Turned out it was the truck, not the jack/​trailer. Didn’t charge me a penny either. I SO appreciate them taking time to do this for me, when the phone was ringing, and they had other things to do. Would DEFINATELY recommend them to anyone!

I was traveling through Stockton and was told by an RV Mechanic my generator needed a fuel pump I called Steve at cherokee RV had him order me a fuel pump sight unseen made an apt and showed up at the appropriate time After about an hours time they determined my fuel pump was fine I asked what I owed him he said nothing and I was shocked when I asked him about the part Steve said don’t worry about it he will find a home for it since them I have had other work done by these guys and have always been treated with respect

The neighborhood where Cherokee RV is located was certainly no recommendation, but a friend of mine whose judgement and experience I trust highly recommended Cherokee RV. I had a quirky issue with my Class A gas rig: the jacks down alarm was on constantly and two other RV repair outfits I’ve dealt with in the past didn’t want to tackle it. I took it to Cherokee RV.
They (and I) had to wait over a week for the part, but when I picked up the coach all was fixed properly. I also had them restring a light/​dark curtain that I tried to fix myself and gave up in frustration. Most places don’t repair curtains, either, but Cherokee gladly repaired it. They also installed a solenoid switch at my chassis battery for me so that I could turn off the battery when in storage. They did a fine job on that, too.
The price for their service seemed fair and I had no reason the think they padded the shop time. They are fair and friendly.
At this writing, my review is the fourth five star review out of four ratings. That should say it all!

NO CHARGE? That what I got! Although a minor problem I spent about ½ hr there and «no charge». Nice people all around! I am definitely going back! Made an appointment for work at later date. Refreshing service and I have been coast to coast the last 2 yrs as full time RVing. A few others have been nice but these guys were great! Check them out, you will be happy you did!

Enthusiastic and hard-​working guys. If they guess wrong and get the wrong part, they don not whine or mumble. I really liked Steve’s «Here. Take this. If it fits, you owe me. If it doesn’t fit, bring it back». Their parts are at or below on-​line prices when you add the shipping.

Have dealt with these people for over 2 years and they are the best. Not necessarily the least expensive, but they will go out of their way to help you. I will continue to use them for all my service work
