My wife said this lady was dishonest and rude to her.
My wife has very sensitive skin and she left feeling horrible.
With so many places to get facials in this city I am sure it would not be hard to find someone who is gentle and honest.

If you’re looking for a well-​rounded facial with both results and pampering, you’ve got to see Nicky. She’s so sweet and definitely knows her skin, and knows the products you need to get you the results you’re looking for. She has taken an active interest in getting my skin clearer and more vibrant, and it really has. Also, the products she both sells and uses during the facial are top notch and won’t break the bank. For the quality that you get, and the results you see, seeing her is well worth it. She has been so accommodating, and my favorite part is that you can tell that her facials are NOT one size fits all. They’ve been tweaked in little ways to get me the results I need in that moment, and my skin has gotten better and better! Just take a look at her skin, and you know you’ve met someone who knows her stuff.

Update on prior review– my skin is looking sooo fantastic thanks to Nicky. My dark spots have faded from the melasma & my skin is really rejuvenated. Nicky cares a lot about my skin & it shows.

My best friend told me about Nicky and said it was the best facial she’s ever had… now I know she wasn’t lying. I have been getting facials for years but never found someone that I really cared to go back to. I have finally found my go to and it’s Nicky! She was amazing. She really took the time to get to know my skin instead of just putting random products on my face. She treated my problem areas and explained to me the possible causes for them. It was the most relaxing facial I have ever had. I left feeling so refreshed and my skin was glowing. I will definitely be coming back!
P. S. I was a little worried about the parking situation because it’s Sherman Oaks/​Studio City and parking can be a nightmare but there is complimentary valet so no need to worry.

If I could give Nicky 10 stars, I would! I’m 29 and have had no problems with my skin until about a year and a half ago. I always had normal to dry skin. Never had any acne issues. I had the occasional pimple 2 times a year, at most and then it seems like out of nowhere my skin is completely different. Since I really didn’t have any sort of skin care routine aside from make up remover wipes and ponds cold cream I went crazy buying and trying anything and everything. After spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars on natural products, expensive products, drugstore products, epiduo, clarisonic and what not I felt hopeless and I was devastated. I now had a oily and acne prone tzone with extremely clogged pores. Everyone made me feel crazy when I told them how horrible I felt about my skin until I went to Nicky, she said «it’s all relative» and it is. My skin was flawless and its made me so sad it wasn’t anymore. This month will be my 3^rd visit to Nicky and I wish I found her sooner. She has changed everything for me. She got me on all new products and my skin is getting back on track. She takes her time and genuinely cares about your concerns. She explains anything and everything if you want her to. I showed her all the products I had and she explained why they were making my skin worse when I thought they would help. I never buy any skin products before texting her the ingredients and getting the okay but, as of now, I only stick to my dermalogica routine. Last week I had a very painful pimple on the side on my nose, I suspect a makeup product might have been the cause. I texted her frantic, we were leaving for the weekend and she stayed late for me to be able to have an extraction. Nicky herself was leaving on a mini vacation the next day and I, SO, appreciate that. She goes above and beyond to help you in any way she can.

I had a photo shoot for a fashion magazine and was worried about the condition of my skin… very dry, creases here and there… hey, I am no spring chicken! It is because of your reviews about sweet Nicky that I called and made an appointment and OMG… I couldn’t believe it was possible to look as youthful and radiant as I did when I left her place. I have known her for years and her facials are the best. My favorite is the micro oxygen facial. Within an hour, you will walk out with that new skin, glow. You have never had a facial if it wasn’t done by Nicki! She is absolutely the best and the most knowledgeable, professional and friendly facialist I have ever been to. I have been going to Nicki for over 5 years and love her and the results each time more. After Nicki’s facials I had people asked me if I just had a botox done as my skin was so smooth and «lines fee»:-) I love how the skin looks and feels after each treatment and the feet, head and head massages are definitely an added bonus and something that no one does, or at least not as good as Nicki. I have been seeing Nicky for a little over six months now and I cannot tell you how my skin has transformed! I had severe melasma (dark brown spots caused from the sun, hormones and birth control) that were bothering me, especially dark ones above my upper lip that made it look like I had a moustache! Last week I was treated to a facial for my birthday. I had no idea where we were going when I jumped into the car, but was excited when we ended up at About Face by Nicky… good a facial, I thought! I couldn’t believe it… I received the works: microermabrasion, oxygen facial, a peel and all topped off by a massage. I was so relaxed I almost fell asleep. My skin felt and looked so smooth, I was completely impressed with the results!

This was the first time I have gotten a facial and I can’t wait to go back! Nicky is so sweet and explained her methods so that I understood all of the different products and techniques she was using.
The facial itself was so gentle yet effective. I am very sensitive and I left with unbelievably soft and clear looking skin. It’s been about a week since I went and still, my skin looks noticeably brighter and glowing without any of the rough patches or blemishes I had before I saw Nicky.
I highly recommend Nicky for anyone who is a newbie like me and is afraid of harming their skin with a harsh treatment.

At 31 years old, I have never gone to an esthetician or gotten a facial before but after having a rash on my face for several months and unsuccessfully trying to tackle it on my own, I was referred to nicky for treatment. the first thing that was super apparent was how much she cared and that to me is a VERY big deal — finding people who are truly passionate about they do is such a rarity these days! she is such a sweetheart and knows how to make you feel taken care of. the rash quickly went away and i’ve been going back on a regular basis. a few months ago, she fit me in last minute for a quick spot treatment of a truly upsetting situation on my face — she is always accommodating and flexible!
Just a note that I’m giving 4 stars only because I have nothing to compare the actual facial to and I am trying to be a fair Unilocaler :) but nicky is totally amazing and i feel like that’s a good portion of the experience — not to mention that my rash went away and i’ve been having great luck with her products!
