We went to the taping of Young and Hungry and were so star struck! It was crazy seeing the actors and actresses from one of our favorite shows. They are so close to the audience.
The show starts at 5:30 PM but they ask you get there up to 90 minutes prior for check ins.
They check everyone’s IDs at the parking gate. Once parked on the 4^th floor, you head to the basement level where you get your bags checked and walk through a metal detector. No phones or recording devices are allowed. From there, you’ll be directed to the area for check in. We waited in like for about 15 minutes before heading inside.
There was a comedic host that entertained the audience all night. I haven’t laughed so hard in a long time. He was hilarious They also had pizza delivered with bottles of water about half way through the show which I thought was very nice.
I was very surprised at how fast they tape an episode. So cool seeing the taping and how it all happens and comes together. Definitely would recommend. Had a very fun night!

I recently visited for a taping of Baby Daddy and I WAS SO STAR STRUCK. The actors and actresses were literally in touching distance!
The event started at 5:30PM and they request your presence at least 90 minutes prior to the start time. If you’re driving and want to arrive earlier, they don’t let you park until 2 hours before the show. Since it’s first come first served basis, even with your printed tickets, there’s lots of cars lining up and lots of cars trying to enter early, who end up getting rejected.

Once you check in, you’ll get a secured number. Then, use the restroom if needed. Your number is called to line up and you’re taken to the staging area.
You’ll then get seated by an usher. They’ll show you a previous episode of the show (although, it’s not the one before… it’s a random one… I don’t get why). Then they introduce the cast and filming begins! You’re given a slice of cheese pizza and a small bottle of water to sustain yourself in the middle of filming. You can use the restroom in between the takes but you will become locked out if they’re in the middle of another take, until they’re finished with that take.
They tell you to bring a light jacket as it can become cool in there. UM IT WAS FREEZING, like I was at a kings game! Maybe it’s because it was wintertime…
There’s a comedic host who entertains the audience all night, since there’s a lot of breaks between the takes. He hands out candy and shirts throughout. He says he was going to hand out cash prizes but there were none given?
At the end of the show, some celebrities walk up to the audience and chat with us! So cool.
Overall, this event lasted 4+ hours, including the waiting. It was a memorable experience, being able to see the production in progress. I was also laughing more than 70% of the time! However, I won’t be visiting again due to the long process. It was a great one time experience.

Ok had the dryest experience of going to «The Talk Show» @ CBS. Get ready to walk a mile for the bathroom, then a country mile to the studio… Then you can’t even hear the ladies when they’re talking topic. The monitors sucked!!! We Thank Cheryl Underwood for keeping us entertained. You could hear her without a mic. She was very funny & approachable while Everyone else on panel seemed aloof & to self absorbed to wave to the audience. in other words its a Boring show!!! Will nor be returning. enjoyed Underwood tho.

I love coming here to work! It’s so close to home, and even though most productions are a walk away lunch their are plenty of places right near by to eat!

Who’s brilliant idea was it to fly a drone in and out of the fireworks? Totally ruined it. That’s all I heard folks talking about. Pathetic. Not to mention a safety hazard.
All I can say is we didn’t get what we paid for and we won’t make that same mistake again. Boooooooo to CBS and the chamber.

This review is for the shockingly amateur 4^th of July festivities. This event, hosted by the Studio City Chamber of Commerce, has the production value of a local community event, but none of the charm. (This sentiment pretty much sums up the Valley, no?) The $ 20 admission fee lets you through the gate — and that’s it. Parking information was not to be found on either the website or on any of the flyers, but it turns out parking in the structure is free. There is also ample street parking along the surrounding residential blocks.
There were no signs directing people to the entrance hidden inside the parking structure, but the guards at the security kiosk may point you in the right direction if you look lost enough. Once there, be prepared to navigate through a confusing setup of tables, a throng of listlessly-​unhelpful staff, and an overzealous security team before someone taps you from behind and asks to see your ticket. Hmm, this should have given us a clue as to what to expect for the rest of the evening.
The quality of the entertainment can only be described as «children’s birthday party rejects.» There were costumed pirates and mermaids who regularly broke character. The model airplane club exhibition glorified one of the many uses of popsicle sticks. The magic show was not magical! Children ran around with bad face-​paint jobs and sadly deflated-​looking balloon animals. (According to the map we were handed, you get access to the Fun Zone, a.k.a. a couple of bouncy houses, for an additional fee.) Happy birthday, America!
The few food kiosks were inefficiently staffed by student volunteers with apparently no oversight. How do you run out of water?! There was a pizza stand, taco stand, and funnel cake stand near the entrance; further in behind the main stage was a «food court» with a horribly-​run BBQ stand, dessert station, and beer cart. Portions were laughably small, but prices were not. The quality ranged from bad cafeteria food to mediocre home cooking.
Finally, the fireworks were a huge let-​down. General admission ticketholders set up on the expansive courtyard area next to the parking structure whereas sold-​out $ 125 VIP ticketholders and sold-​out $ 20 rooftop view ticketholders went up to the roof of the parking structure — there may be more money than sense in this part of the world! The sound system didn’t have enough reach, so only those sitting towards the front could hear anything, but it didn’t matter because the music cut out 10 minutes into the show anyway… The lights in the parking structure weren’t dimmed so there was a bright glare off one side the entire time. However, the biggest surprise was that the fireworks were set up so far off to the side that most of us barely got a glimpse of the show! They were set off so low down the tree line that I’d be surprised if even the rooftop viewers got a good view.
Overall, I think many attendees left feeling hungry, thirsty, and frustrated. One star for the brilliant marketing department («best fireworks show in the Valley!») but herein lies the danger of overpromising and underdelivering.

I love working here. Everyone is extremely kind and friendly, and there’s always a lot of excitement happening!

I actually came here to volunteer with the Every Child Matters 5K as part of my work, and I have to say that I was pleased with what I saw, even though it was very little. New York street was wonderful and scenic.
It was very clean, and everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful. I look forward to thoroughly visiting the studio!

I came here for a fundraising even the other night. CBS offers a nice area called Residential Street for tables and a stage if you’d like to be set up, where they’ve filmed various t.v. shows. It’s a pretty neat idea!
I helped organize the event, but I was not in on all of the costs and what CBS takes care of and what sort of things you need to bring on your own, so I can’t go into all that. They have a free parking structure not too far from the venue which is nice. We had a valet service available as well, though I’m not sure if that was through CBS or not.
A little «café» called Carla’s Café right on the street where the venue was held was also made available to guests who wanted to beat the heat/​cool. Bathrooms are placed strategically throughout for guests to find, bars were set up, a buffet table, a stage, and a video projector all around the tables. It was a great space for our event that everyone seemed to enjoy!

Love me my Studio City just hanging out over taking the tour and seeing some good old friend and I think after this were going to be going out for the art walk which is just outside which is absolutely amazing it’s a once-​in-​a-​lifetime experience and there’s at least 15 or 16 different statues there

Attended taping of Tim Allen’s show, «Last Man Standing». We arrived extra early to the taping. The taping started at 6pm so we showed up at 4:30pm. The cutoff is 70 people. We got number 52 and 53.
You enter through the visitors area and parking is free in the garage. Be sure to get your tickets printed and to leave your phone in the car. They don’t allow phones unless you’re VIP. I’m not sure how to get VIP at one of these tapings. I assume you have to sponsor the show or you know someone.
Once you park, registration is in the garage floor. They lead you to the studio waiting area outside. They have a long bench where you sit and wait to get a numbered notecard. They’ll check off your name and your registered ticket.
They started letting us in at 5pm. The taping started around 6:00ish. It was a bit cold in the studio. I just wore long sleeves and jeans and I was ok. Some people wore winter clothes. They fed us a single slice of cheese pizza and water. We left about 8:00pm. Was a great experience and lots of fun. We were able to see Tim allen and crew perform in front of us.
They also offered prizes to some of the audience: Starbucks giftcards, Target giftcard, a coffee maker, Tim the toolman toys, etc.

One of the best studios in Los Angeles. Great shows are shot here. The staff is very nice and helpful. It’s very clean and cbs is always improving the facility. One negative thing, I came here few years ago and one of their bathroom was smelling badly. It still does. At this point it’s a plumbing problem that hasn’t been addressed yet. Besides that great place to visit or work at.

I had a lot of fun watching Who’s Line Is It, Anyway? Try to sneak in some snacks and a drink. I saw some people do it, but I didn’t because I thought they didn’t let you. They do NOT let you in with your phones, so just leave it in your car or you’ll be sent back out. A lot of people were leaving the line to take all the phones from their group back to the car. One girl in front of me was able to sneak hers in, somehow. Oh, and it was (easy) street parking. Fun night, but takes a little prep.

I came here with friends to watch The Talk. They were filming two shows. We were there by 8:30am and we were not allowed a bathroom break until 1:30 after the first show aired. When we finally made our way to the restroom there were literally over a 100 women in line all taking forever because they were changing into the «evening» outfits for the next show. I found this ridiculous. Since I had been in line 20 minutes and was ready to pee my pants I asked one of the staff to please open another restroom, after much debate they finally did. I waited another 15 minutes in the second line. We made our way back to the second taping in time for a granola bar, a green banana, and a half cup of water.
The shows were okay, no parting gifts like other shows, just a strange raffle with misc prizes and oddball toys. We didn’t get out of there until 3:30.
I felt the hosts could of cared less about the guests with the exception of Cheryl. The guy that entertained everyone before and between shows was great, the only thing worthwhile about the experience.

The CBS Staff/​Crew/​Security/​Everybody are superb. I always enjoy being on their Stages and Sets. Every time I touch bases with them, I have a memorable experience that I wouldn’t ever trade the world for.

The parking and entry is extremely choreographed and managed so you always know where you should be going. There are people posted just about everywhere to show you where to line up/​stand to wait for entry into the studio. We saw a taping of The Talk. The warm up guy for them is fantastic. He keeps the audience upbeat and loud!

We want by here to watch a show filming, and to be the laugh track of the studio audience for Hot in Cleveland.
For the most part plan to spend the whole evening here. And I hear it could be up to 5 ish hours, just to film, that doesn’t include getting the an hour and half to 2 hours before the time that its scheduled to start to be in line and get a spot. Just an FYI.
You arrive at gate A which is actually a giant parking garage. It says not a pedestrian exit, so if you take a taxi, it might be best to have them drop you off inside, but they still let us walk in. When they say to leave cameras and phones in your car they mean it, but they did check ours (again we taxi’ed there) in a bag with your id. You go through security in the back of the garage and get in line of your corresponding show. Your id must match the name on your ticket (we got ours at
I believe). Once in line you’ll be given a number card. The bathrooms are one floor up by a patio if you need them. I highly suggest going before hand. Also you may want to being a book to read or something. I did notice someone with a nook reader, so as long as no camera or Internet access it seems to be ok. They didn’t give me crap about my crochet I brought in either.
We were then bussed to the studio (you may walk if its not raining I’m not sure) and then you turned in your name card and got a simple sandwich of either turkey or cheese and a small bottle of water. In the middle they passed out cookies as well. There is a comedian to keep you entertained, and explain what is going on. The cast came out on the floor and said hi to us before hand but there wasn’t really a meet and greet, but still cool. 5 little no more than 5 minute scenes took 2 hours to shoot. And ran about 3 – 5 different takes. So it takes time. Half of our show was pre taped due to being shot on a bus, but they still showed us the scene because they still wanted our laugh track and emotions, which was cool.
At the end the cast thanked us, took a final bow and left, and then we left to take a bus back to the parking garage and be on our way. It was fun to check out a taping, but be prepared to spend a good chunk of time here. We were catching a flight that night, and we did check about if we had to leave early and requested an aisle. We were told to just tell a page (easily spotted in red jackets) prior and if we had to leave early, we were told we could, but it would have to be at a break. Also potty breaks aren’t really encouraged, a guy in front of us had to ask 3 times before they let him.

Went there and they were great.
Started with the guard at the main gate. Was nice and gave me all the information I need to find where I need to go,
The electrician was very helpful and got me and did everything that needed to be done.
Bathrooms were clean.
Just had a great expererance.
