Chase Bank

This is THE WORST bank on the planet!!! NO tellers. 27 people standing around doing NOTHING… WHEN you DO get to a teller they are BEYOND rude. I use this as a secondary cash deposit only bank BECAUSE they DESTROYED a mortgage for me. THEY SUCK! STAY away. INCOMPETENT. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

Good service in general, but I don’t like getting charged $ 8 to cash a CHASE CHECK made out to me just because I don’t have an account with them. Now I go elsewhere to avoid the charge.

I went in and was out in 2 minutes. Place was clean and organized, not much else to say. Job well done!

4pm on a Friday and out of 10 teller windows only three are open! No managers jumping in to help with the line of 16 customers! One star for the pleasant tellers, but never again.

Slowest bank ever… It’s the closest to my house or I would go somewhere else. I’m always standing in line for at least 20 minutes. 10 people in line and 2 people working. Go to another chase if you don’t have time to wait. People are nice though…

I’ve been making cash deposits for the past five years, at least, at this particular chase bank (in addition to another branch in Sherman oaks and in Beverly Hills) without issue until this month. The past two times I’ve gone in were the last two times I will ever set foot in that establishment so long as it remains a Chase bank. I don’t know if it’s the new staff who lack common sense or if it’s some moron who was promoted to management for some ludicrous reason or what but I’m just astounded.
Today I attempted to make a cash deposit (business account) of several thousand dollars. All but $ 7.80 of it was cash. $ 7.80 in coins. All denominations. I was immediately told I would need to roll the coins in order to deposit them.

What? I need to roll my coins? Since when? And why? And why have I never been told I needed to roll my coins when making a cash deposit into a business account? It’s not like I swing by the place twice a year, I’m there every week (sometimes 2 – 3 times per week) and not once has anyone ever given me any hassle until now. Furthermore, there aren’t enough coins to fill any rolls with in their entirety!
I got loud. I will readily admit I got upset. Like so upset every person was staring at me upset. I wasn’t going to roll anything. The bank manager (person number three called to the scene for assistance) proceeded to tell me this was an existing policy. I proceeded to tell her every single person on staff aside from the schmuck next to her didn’t follow procedure then nor had been for years. She told me they didn’t have room to accept the loose coins. I’m sorry, what? I am standing in a bank, am I not? You don’t have room? What kind of asinine and bullshit response is that?
I just want everyone to know that I took the money back and left without making a deposit. As soon as I got in the car I called the branch in Beverly Hills because I knew I’d be dropping by there first thing in the morning. I asked the girl what their policy was. If you have over $ 10 then of course they should be rolled. I can understand that. I explained to her what had just transpired and she told me that the manager and teller were both in the wrong. My deposit with $ 7.80 in coins was perfectly fine to deposit as loose change and had no reason to be rolled because no rolls would be filled completely. THANK YOU! She said it didn’t make sense at all.
So way to go! Zero customer service. Zero common sense. Zero deposits from me at your branch going forward. I encourage others to take notice of the new faces on board — a complete and utter failure of decisions to bring them on.

I just needed some quarters and yes I’m a chase banker. The hispanic employee at the last window was a complete jerk off. Didn’t give me a bag or a box to put in my $ 100 worth of quarters (ALL other branches have always found SOMETHING so I don’t have to hold it all in my hands). Don’t wven want to bank w/​Chase anymore. 2 windows open, 12 customers in line & an a-​hole clerk. Happy Saturday! #LookingForNewBank

It’s so bad. Especially that annoying creepy worker they have working outside the branch. If I get there and park and don’t get out right away he comes every time to kick me out of the parking space if I’m not getting out. I don’t know where these people hire such staff. Really rude. Because of him, he gives the chase a bad name.

I have been in line for 15 painful minutes and I am still 4^th in line. It’s painful. The other bank workers are not even courteous enough to look up and address the people asking questions in line about opening another window. Not the first time I have had bad service here. This place needs to step it up considerably.

The people who work behind the counter are rude and condescending. I’ve had multiple incidents there where the staff was not pleasant. When there is a line they do not have enough windows open for the amount of people trying to get helped.

1 star because I was able to complete my transaction I went in for. Of course because of my own persistence and knowing there branch duties. that they had no clue about. They were not very helpful, negative and lazy. Im a long term chase customer and cabt believe the BS this branch put me through. I think they forgot they were at work, too busy thinking about starting saturday evening perhaps. Please, please know what your branch does and doesn’t do before trying to turn a customer away. Thanks to chase over the phone support for walking your branch through there job.

Reason for 1 star is because of the guy who works in the parking lot. He constantly harasses customers and is extremely rude. His job is to clean trash not to attack people who park slightly over the white line when the parking lot is empty. Very disappointed that a professional establishment like this would hire someone as unintelligent and rude as him.

I’m actually really shocked by my negative experience there. The banker I briefly worked with was a jerk. Plain and simple. He treated me and my wife like crap (between us we have 4 accounts with Chase) and basically told us to go back to the branch where we got «preferential» service. I guess he meant «basic customer service». I work in the area and I can guarantee I will never set foot in that branch again.

I was having issues with a coupon code we had used to open a new account online, so I called Armen B. at this branch. Since there was no sales incentive for him to help me with this, I was not optimistic about getting much help. However, Armen treated it like a priority, called IT and got it taken care of for me. You don’t see this kind of follow-​through very often, and he was so professional and friendly throughout the whole process. He made my day!

The bankers at this branch are unhelpful. Whenever I go I end up waiting for 5 – 10 minutes before I’m even acknowledged, today was no exception. I waited for 5 min before someone told me I’d be helped in a minute and 10 min later I’m still waiting as I see bankers just hanging out and chatting it up. I finally left and drove down to the bank on lankershim and was greeted and helped as soon as I walked in.

I like this chase because it’s never busy. So I can get in and out!!! The tellers are pretty nice and there a lot of parking. $$$

TERRRIBLE! The tellers at this branch are completely horrible when it comes to customer service. I watched 3 tellers treat the customers like crap, they don’t smile they are not friendly or helpful and have terrible dispositions

Out of all Case locations I’ve been to this is my favorite. There rarely is a line and the staff seems very helpful every time.

I was a VP of private banking for almost 20 years. Now i am a business owner. I have banked at several different banks over the years, and NONE of them met my expectations until i started banking at Chase Studio City. i joined the Chase family when i walked in simply to take advantage of a $ 100 gift they were offering me, just for having a tiny little account for my son. I ended up moving my entire banking relationship over there after that one meeting. Firstly, they agreed to give me the $ 100 without expecting anything in return, even though I was past the deadline to receive it. They brought over a private client services person, Carlos, who was charming and knowledgable. then they introduced me to Brently, who promptly set up a meeting to go over our financial goals. Our meetings were exceptional; from their promptness, thoroughness, professionalism. you name it, it is everything i’d ever want from a bank. I told them that they remind me of the type of banking I used to provide when I was a private banking officer in the 90’s. Since I signed on with Chase, I feel like a Queen every time i enter the branch. They jump through hoops for their clients to have a great experience. From the tellers, to the people downstairs, to the Private Client Officers and Investment staff, they are a FIRST RATE operation.
I am VERY picky with my banking, and they have met all my expectations.

The staff at this location are some of the friendliest bank tellers I have ever dealt with. It makes doing my daily business transactions fun!
