After not having the greatest first experience with delivery, Mod, their head chef reached out to us and wanted to make it right — and she definitely did. Mod is so kind and such a great chef. Everything we had was delicious.

SO GOOD! I’m on the fence about being vegan right now. This place makes me feel like I can do it for real. Try the dumplings. Holy S%#! First time ordering. I got those, the Mac and «cheese», papaya salad, and edamame, just to try a variety of what they had to offer. Very filling portions. Definitely impressed.

While parking is a bit challenging, this place is amazing. Friendly servers, creative, delicious dishes and a relaxed atmosphere is what you will find here. We came for a late lunch and started our meal with the curry dumplings. It didn’t come rice, so we ordered a side of brown rice to compliment the tasty sauce. Something this good ought not be wasted.
My hubby has the pad Thai noodles with soy chicken and rice noodles. Very good and not too salty. The kale wrap with soy chicken was bursting with flavor. And may I add, it’s huge. I’ll have a delicious lunch tomorrow.
The chia pudding sounded good, maybe next time we will have room for it. Can’t wait to return!

I had lunch here with some friends and it was really good. I ordered the wonton soup and really enjoyed it. I sampled all my friends dishes as well and they were great too. I can’t wait to come again and try their other stuff. Definitely worth the drive up.

This place is great! Every item I have tried is surprisingly delicious. H.O.P.E. is the best Thai restaurant I have tried in the area (vegan or not).
The satay and yellow curry are my favorite items so far, but no matter what you order, you will not be disappointed. Everything is vegan and organic and SOO GOOD!!!
The owners are sweet and honest and the service is great. They really care about their customers here and it shows. You can taste the love and care that they put into the food.

This is a must go to Thai Vegan Restaurant. I was extremely impressed with the flavor and the quality of the dishes. I’ve been to many vegan restaurant and they usually do not meet expectation. But H.o.p.e has some how master it! I would like to recommend the pad see eww and tom kha soup. Yum !!! And you should not leave without trying the chia pudding or the mango and rice dessert plate they have.
From the service to the food! And they have valet … I would recommend this place to anyone! So glad I gave this place a try.

Me not being vegan at ALL i LOVE coming here with my girlfriend shes the vegetarian /​vegan. We ordered pretty much everything on the menu! Curry, Dumplings, Soup m, etc… Place is delicious! Highly recommend it!!!

I realllllly want to give the place 5 stars because my boyfriend and I love the food. But we’ve been there a few times, and every time the customer service is lacking. The women who runs the floor (bless her heart) needs more staff to help her. The last time we visited, we were told the wait to receive food AFTER being seated would be one hour! That’s unheard of! I sincerely hope they can hire more waiters to support the demand for their yummy food, because we love having a vegan spot in our neighborhood.

Great food but the service is slow. Parking there is valet which at night can mean waiting for awhile because of a disorganized valet service. It’s much better to order takeout (the quinoa rolls and Tom Kah soup are favorites). Service is friendly but takes forever.

I just recently turned Vegan, I wanted to still get the same taste, without eating little animals. So my mom told me to check this place out, sure enough– it’s now my favorite restaurant and I’m in there at least twice a week. The soy marinated chicken and beef is absolutely divine. I just had the cowboy style burger for lunch 2 days in a row and it fails to disappoint. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every single meal I’ve tried on the menu, and to top of all of the yumminess, they have the most beautiful whole coconuts to enjoy with your meal. The ambiance is nice, the place is cute and simple. I love the padded chairs and the little succulents on every table, there’s always nice soft music lingering in the background. It’s a nice place to feel comfortable and eat well.
I would recommend the spicy fried rice, the cowboy style burger, the Thai green curry, and the beefless garlic. All truly delicious dishes.

I would give this place 10 stars if i could! This is just the BEST vegan place you can take your meat-​loving friends. They have a great variety of absolutely delicious meat substitutes and also many others creative meals (not only thai). I saw them delivering fresh food couple times during that break between 3 and 4 pm they take every day. I have no doubts about quality of products. Beside the great food selection they are also known for a simple, although respective and genuinely positive attitude towards customers! They atmosphere is nice and cozy due to the design and the music. I hope they will open more locations around LA, so this one, which i live close to, don’t get too crowded, haha:)

«Meh» perfectly describes the food at HOPE!
I had been looking forward to trying this place out for awhile and finally had the opportunity to do so today. Unfortunately, it does not live up to the reviews on Unilocal at all!
My waitress was very friendly and attentive. Service is what makes this place a three star instead of two.
I ordered the Tom Kah Kai and asked for no Cilantro and to be extra spicy. The soup came out like warm and completely without spice. I was disappointed, but even more so about the lunch special I ordered; the best part about it was the egg roll. The spicy basil again was luke warm and had no spice, although I had explicitly asked for to be. I ended up taking most of this dish home and will reheat and add Sriracha to it… hopefully, it will be better this way.

We are HUGE fans of H.O.P.E and highly recommend it, even for a meat eater. Everything on their menu is delicious and if you are a Celiac like me, you will be delighted that they accommodate to the «gluten free «.
My 14 year old loves the Hot Wings (you would never know it’s not chicken) .
My 10 year old loves the Mod’s Mac and Cheese .
And my other 10 year old vegetarian CRAVES the Tom Yum soup .
ALL VEGAN FOOD, and my children devour it .
The owners are wonderful and embrace you .
We feel like we are part of their family .

Normally I just order HOPE for delivery, but today my sighted and I went in to eat. Oh my gosh, it’s so cute! Industrial bistro chairs, little succulents on every table– great vibe. I had something called a Cowboy burger which was indescribably good. Again– it’s not real meat but you wouldn’t know it if you didn’t know it– although it’s not like hamburger meat, but some delicious meat you’ve never tasted. My daughter had spicy fried rice and that too was out of this world. I can’t say enough about this place. If you live in studio city, you really have to try it. Even if you are a meat eater– especially if you are– you can have what you love about meat, juicy, tasty and full of protein without hurting an animal. Why wouldn’t anyone want that?

Get the Tom Kha Kai — It’s the best I’ve ever had, super lemongrass flavor and hearty with the soy chicken. I could eat it everyday, YUMMM.
I’ve also tried the P.E.T. (pumpkin, eggplant, and tofu) which I would recommend and the Crispy Seaweed Quinoa Rolls. The Mod’s Mac and Cheese was delicious! And you do not need to be vegan to love the food here!
The Amigos Tacos was the only thing I wouldn’t order again but I don’t really like vegan cheese unless it’s hot/​melted. I love the variety of the menu and they do pretty much all of it really well!

The food here is bomb! I am a strict health conscious vegan. They uphold to the standard of eating for health. They have very fresh ingredients. Their food has a clean taste. They use mushrooms to flavor the soup instead of msg or other crap. Their chia pudding is off the hook! The owners, Mod and Kat are very friendly and funny. The brownies are very simple vegan/​gluten free ingredients and are to die for! ;)

I order food yesterday from this restaurant veggie dumplings and spicy noodles the lady on the phone said delivery guy will be at my place 40 – 55 minutes, the guy showed up after 30 minutes with the food warm and very tasty and she didn’t forget to put the extra source on the side.

Wasn’t very impressed but would give it another try. The food could have had more flavor — I was considering Cashew Nut but decided I wanted a noodle dish so I went with See-​ew. I love the option to add soy-​chicken! As a vegetarian, the option of a meat substitute is awesome to see on any menu so I love that this place is vegan.
There was a good amount of soy chicken and veggies in the dish but could it have also been flavorful. There was no type of sauce in my to-​go back and I got a fork but no chopsticks. My order was done quickly, which is always a plus.
I look forward to trying the thai iced tea next time.

My favorite vegan place to eat, I loveeee their jumbo sized spring Rolls or is it freshy rolls. their Thai tea is mt all time fav. i love to eat here. I come here at lease once a month if not sometimes more. Love the chicken burger, just talking about it makes my mouth water. hmmm I wish i had some right now. oh Yes and their fries their crispy, fries. yummy!!!

This place has AMAZING vegetarian and vegan food. Their freshy rolls are huge and delicious — sometimes that will just be my dinner!
It’s a small little place in a really good area of Studio City. The parking lot can be a bit frustrating when it’s busy and the mandatory valet is out and about. I’m sure street parking is just as frustrating in the area (that’s why I usually get delivery!)

Everything was delicious. The service was friendly. I didn’t give 5 stars because Monkey’s food came out last – like 10 minutes after the rest of us got ours.
The parking lot is small and shared with several other businesses, and when it gets busy they do stack parking, but there is a valet on duty.
Overall, I will definitely return for more great vegan food!

The food is amazing!
However, they keep making the portions smaller and smaller. My last (and unfortunately final) order was the smaller portion and just above half full… for $ 30! Other vegan places with Thai food have roughly 3x the amount of food for the same costs. Until they lower their prices to match the appetizer portion sizes of their main dishes or increase the size to their competitors, I will not be going to this restaurant. It’s too expensive for what you get now.

For casual vegan with the sweetest waitstaff ever, look no further. This unassuming little gem, located in the same strip mall as Asanebo should be a regular in your rotation. They have lots of share plates. I love the ‘chicken’ satay and the muay thai wing kicks. All of their salads can be entrees and the rainbow salad is a personal favorite. If you like Thai tea, they knock it out of the park. They also have a nice selection of noodle dishes and curry dishes and if you save room, the desserts are out of this world.
One of the things that makes this place special is how well the staff remembers you, your order, something you mentioned last time you were in. They care about their customers and it makes everything taste that much better.

Maude, who served us, is a great host and knows what you’ll like. She saw me struggling to breathe after a chilli hit the back of my throat and had a milk tea cure waiting on standby. She brought it over and was just great to us all round.
GET THE PUMPKIN ROTI CURRY DIP. Just in case that wasn’t clear.
I love it here. We’ll be coming more often.
