Specialities include: the optimization of smaller spaces; hillside plantings and slope stabilization; privacy creation or enhancement; the creation of peaceful and tranquil spaces; coastal gardens; shade gardens; desert gardens; edible gardens; and the careful selection of plants for low water use including Californian native plantings, wildlife and natural habitat, and containers and potted arrangements.

History

Established in 2006.

Shawn Maestretti has been designing, installing and maintaining gardens, in the Greater Los Angeles Area since 2006. With a deep-​rooted connection to the natural world, Shawn has amassed an extensive knowledge of horticulture over the years. He first learned the basics of exterior design at The Glass Garage, formerly one of L.A.‘s premier interior décor and garden elements stores before establishing his own landscape design business.

In addition to managing his business, Shawn is currently in his final year of the Landscape Architecture Program at UCLA Extension.
