Bug Boss Pest Control

We have used bug boss for a year now. Their team is great and very reliable. They always come as scheduled and do a great job.

We hired this company to spray for ants in early July, 2015. The technician did not appear to know what he was doing, and appeared very inexperienced. He did not answer the question when we asked him to tell us how long he had been an exterminator, but he guaranteed good results and promised they would come back out if needed. Within a couple of days, it was apparent that the spraying was completely ineffective. Some of the ant colonies were unaffected, and others simply moved a couple of feet. We thereafter contacted the company and asked them to come back out. They were unhelpful on the phone, and refused to come back out unless we paid them almost double what we paid for the initial treatment. They tried to justify this by referring to the «humidity» and the size of our yard, although neither condition was mentioned at the initial treatment. We are going to have to start over completely with another company.
UPDATE. Having read the comment from the business owner, and while we stand by everything that we wrote, in their favor, this company did come out quickly, and we do have a big yard. While we believe they still should have come out to treat the ants again, we can understand how they would not want to due to the size of the yard. (The reason we took three weeks to call was that a couple of days after we noticed the ineffectiveness of the treatment, we went out of town on vacation. We did not call until we came back and saw that the problems persisted). I am not aware of any attempts by the owner to contact me, and we feel that we did give them an opportunity to resolve the problem by calling and asking them to come back out. That having been said, we wish to give them the benefit of the doubt, and we are therefore amending the review to three stars.

We have been using them for years. We are always very impressed with their friendliness and careful attention to making sure our children are not affected by the spray they use. And their spray is very effective — we really only need them to spray a few times a year, when we get ants.
Another great thing is that they never pressure you to get into a regular routine with them. They are very happy to come spray once for you and let you contact them when you need them again.
I can’t recommend their service enough!

Bug Boss has been taking care of our pest control for years, and we are bug-​free month over month despite being backed up to a mountain in Phoenix. Mike completed our termite inspection for our new home this weekend. He was fast, efficient, and informative. He made sure to explain the removal process to us including what to look out for should the seller of the home choose another company. We will definitely be using Bug Boss for our new home extermination needs!
