Danielle Gregory is a Tacoma wedding and portrait photographer who approaches her work with a documentary style — capturing moments as they happen, not as they are posed.
History
Established in 2010.
Danielle has been a photographer all her life but became a professional photographer in 2010 after receiving professional training at the Defense Information School of photography and receiving her B.A. specializing in documentary photography at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University.
Her Awards include:
–The 2013 Dave Crowder Memorial Photojournalism Award, where her winning photos are displayed at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University
–By invitation in 2013, she was inducted into the Kappa Tau Alpha National Journalism Honor Society
–Two Army Achievement Medals for outstanding photo and video products in 2011 and 2015

In 2010 Danielle became a public affairs specialist in the Army, which included extensive training in photography, reporting and public relations. Afterwards Danielle pursued a degree in journalism at Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
At ASU, Danielle learned how to do it all; including videography, graphic design and reporting, but her biggest passion is photography.
She was also chosen to be photojournalism intern at Arizona’s largest newspaper, the Arizona Republic, and was given the full responsibilities of being a staff photographer.
At ASU, she won the prestigious the 2013 Greg Crowder Memorial Photojournalism Award, and her framed photos are displayed at the Cronkite School.
Danielle graduated Summa Cum Laude from ASU with a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication.
After graduation, Danielle worked as a photojournalist and reporter at the Cannoneer newspaper, but has since moved to Washington where she freelances.
