History

Established in 2012.

As an admirer and advocate of beauty I recognize the intricate details of the creation. As an artist I respect the integrity of the inspiration that creates beauty. I am a multi-​award winning makeup artist with nearly a decade of experience. Starting out as a freelancer, I was asked to become a lead makeup artist and beauty educator for the cosmetic retail giant Sephora. In addition to working on the faces of thousands of women and men, I have done makeup for film and print, and hundreds of brides and bridal parties.

Through makeup artistry I want to convey to women that beauty is accessible, attainable, and real. I want everyone to realize their own beauty, and encourage and empower everyone to be their own kind of beautiful. I appreciate the potential in a canvas, and acknowledge the raw and natural attributes of beauty that are already there. It all began with watching my mother design beautiful clothing. As a child I was immersed into a world of color and creativity. I would sit and study her sketches for hours. I got to witness her imagination become realized in a large ACADÈMIE sketch pad, and then brought to life on a sewing machine. This was a talent that was inherently given to her by my grandmother, and my mother gave it to me.

Living in a small town in Ohio there where no new cutting edge sources of inspiration to feed her talent, except for MTV’s House of Style. This was an iconic show from the 90′s that featured the latest fashion and beauty trends from all over the world. My favorite moments while watching along side my mother was during the fashion shows and behind the scenes backstage with the models. This was the moment that I was introduced to the greats; Linda Evangelista, Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer, Tyra Banks, and the legendary Naomi Campbell.
