History

Established in 1985.

In January of 1987, attorneys Ronald W. Brooks and Dean R. LeBoeuf formed the law firm of Brooks & LeBoeuf. In December of 1995, the firm added Rhonda Bennett as a partner. Ms. Bennett had been with the law firm as an associate since graduating law school in 1990. Then, in December of 1997, the firm expanded again by adding Matthew K. Foster as a partner. Mr. Foster had also been with the firm as an associate since graduating law school. Scott Gwartney, who joined the firm in April of 2002, became a named partner in January of 2003. Kimberly Driggers joined in 2008 and became a partner in 2011. John Leace joined our firm in 2012 as a partner. Carolyn LeBoeuf has an of-​counsel relationship with the firm. We now have attorneys licensed to practice law in Florida, Georgia, Tennessee and Texas.

Meet the Manager

Dean L.

Manager

Dean R. LeBoeuf, the managing partner of the firm, currently focuses his practice solely on complex personal injury civil litigation, including motor vehicle negligence, medical malpractice and nursing home neglect and abuse cases. He is a 1978 honors graduate from Florida State University where he obtained a degree in political science with minors in economics and accounting. Mr. LeBoeuf continued his education at Florida State University College of Law and obtained his law degree in 1981. Following graduation, he entered private practice with the firm of Brooks, Callahan and Phillips and ultimately became the managing partner of Brooks & LeBoeuf in January of 1987. Since that time, Mr. LeBoeuf has directed the firm’s continuous growth and operation.
